Service was good at the start but could have been more consistent throughout the evening. But I think they might have though we were hanging out instead of just eating and then leaving lol! I went here alone towards closing time. This place is in my neighbor hood. I thought this would be a safe place for a single woman to go.. the Owner was bartending. Apparently he did not appreciate my business. I paid my tab. He called the police On me. I do not drink and drive. I called my uber. Never the less it was very scary that the Owner called the police on me. I think this place has some connection with the police. I think to be on the safe side I wouldn't go here. read more

Visited Island Bar & Grill for the first time 2/18/26 and it was amazing. Sports on all TVs (US Hockey on a ton) and the service was out of this world. Shelley welcomes us and always had a smile and team always checked in, and remembered our names as newbies. They all had the best personalities. The food... on my goodness. Fried greens beans and ranch/horseradish sauce was a wonderful start, the steak burger was amazing and Haddock fish sammies were terrific. Didn't finish it all between 4 of us but really wanted to. Went to Island Bar for happy hour, and it was a pretty decent spot. The place was packed when we arrived, but luckily we got seated right away. The highlight of the happy hour is that everything on the menu is 25% off, which was a nice deal. I ordered a dozen wings, and they were good, though the garlic parm seasoned wings weren't quite what I expected. I'm more used to a more wet garlic parm than what I received even though the menu stated they were not dry. On the bright side, most of the wings were flats, which I prefer, and the queso app was tasty as well. The only downside was the beer being a bit warmer than I'd like, but the server gave me a frozen glass to help cool it down, which was appreciated. Overall, a great experience with solid happy hour prices. Would definitely recommend for a casual night out! read more

Hidden Gem in a strip mall. Went to check this place out. Heard from a friend it was good...the atmosphere was fantastic drink choices are very good for the whole family. . . The food was A LOT better than I ever expected. . . I had the crab cake (homemade) best cake I've ever had. Not dry and tasteless at all. Flavor was impressive. Best little bar we stumbled upon while in vacation. We both enjoyed our food...I had wings and my wife had their taco special for the day. We shared some pretzels for an appetizer. Just happened along this little gem while shopping for some groceries. A few tvs. Trivia, dart machines, music. And food. We don't drink ( sober 12 years ). We were hungry and they didn't disappoint. The quesadillas are large, stuffed with flavor. We had chicken. And we had a grilled chicken samie with Swiss and mushrooms. Side of tots and a Ceasar salad. All very good and easy on the pocket. Great place to eat. We wanted to play trivia while on vacation and ended up here. Walking in, it's nothing special, just a sports bar type setting. That's where the nothing special ended. The quesadillas were the best I ever had, hands down. So good in fact that we went back a couple days later to try it again. The return trip did not disappoint. My wife had a blackened haddock sandwich and I had a western grilled chicken sandwich. Both were outstanding and the garlic Parmesan fries were amazing. Ok, I have been here twice in one week. It's a bar, tavern? Whole in the wall? It's so good!! Heard it's family owned and they are doing something right!! The happy hour is off the hook. Got the jumbo burrito topped with queso. I can never eat more than half. I destroyed it. The next time, my husband destroyed it. I got fried pickles and let the bartender (super great guy) pick my wings. They were parmyaki. Can't get over how good they were and he said they make the pickles in house. You know! It's a basic "dart bar" that leans heavily into a Boston fan base. The food is okay, just typical bar fare where the ingredients are all packaged / premade, and "assembled". But the menu did have a little depth to it which is nice. Service is attentive. Bar seating and budget quality high tops that would keep me from staying for more than short stint. Patrons that were clearly regulars were already drunk and loud at 3pm. Maybe an isolated occurrence but not the sense I got. We go to the island bar all the time. 1) the owners and staff are the best around. 2) the food and prices are amazing and one of the best happy hour by far. 25 % off the entire menu. I was looking for craft beer and found this gem. It is located in a strip mall and unassuming from the outside. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised. Ample seating, nice food variety on the menu, and great beer selection. We were cheerfully greeted and provided with waters and menus promptly. I ordered a New England IPA, delicious! We got the pot stickers and queso with tortilla chips lightly salted. Everything was fantastic and, even better, the prices were perfect. Corona Review In the past I never gave this place any thought. I knew it used to be smoking so I guess that kept us away? Here comes the Corona virus. This spot is convenient to our house and work. We've probably ordered from them at least 3 times this week. I love that I can order online. Everything has been delicious! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I am completely appalled at the service or(lack of)I received today by Sherry the bartender and the waitress that claimed she's the owner. We drank our beers and when I told her how I felt she had no remorse and quickly said do you want to talk to the owner? She coached her partner in the kitchen to take her side and gaslight me by saying I was rude and there's plenty of other bars for me to go to!!!
