They make your dreams come true! I know that sounds strange to say about a business that provides welding services but that is exactly what they did. Last minute we realized we needed to have our tow hitch modified so we could go on a long planned road trip. Called Larry late afternoon (4:30PM) the day before we planned to leave. Told him the situation. He asked that I send him a few pictures so he could see what needed to be done. After reviewing the phots, he said bring the hitch to him in the morning (Tuesday) and we'll have it fixed by noon. They were done by 10AM and we were on the road by noon. Total life saver! If you are a woman, respect women, have a daughter or a wife - please do not support this chauvinistic businessman I met with Larry today about a custom commission that my boyfriend and I were wanting him to give us a quote for. We are building a kitchen and water system on the front of our trailer. As I detailed the plan for him with a blueprint and cardboard 3D model, I said "this is where the hot water heater attached, and this is where the shower head attaches to the metal" His response was "Only if i get to watch you shower" EXCUSE ME? Seriously? People still exist who behave like this? How is this man in business? I was stunned, disgusted, and could only say "ummmmmm yeahhhh ok ... so ..." .... and like many women dealing with old paradigm chauvinists, i choked my disgust back, felt paralyzed, compartmentalized the grossness in order to be polite - and finished the discussion. It retrospect i wish i had just turned around and driven off. It almost didn't even register how utterly unbelievable this guy's inappropriate comment was, until i called my partner and told him about it. We are getting bids from a number of welders, but even if this place was the best deal (which it probably wouldn't be, examining the reviews), we would never ever give our business to this place. read more

Called about getting an oil cooler fixed and was told they could do it, and it could be pressure tested. I dropped it off to get a quote. They had it for 2 days. Had to call each day to finally on the second day have Larry tell me he can't do it and they can't pressure test it either. If time is a consideration then consider someone else. read more

Meet with Larry Barndt today and showed him the sheared steel shaft that slides into the tow bracket that is permanently attached to our tow car...it had broken off while driving down the road in our motorhome...towing the car...ugh! We called the shop and they said "come on in...we'll take of it". Took the car in and they replaced both shafts...the other had a hair line crack...and he was done in three hours...so now we can continue on our journey. Looks like a good job...we thought a bit pricey...but did not have time to get other bids. We would recommend Larry and his crew for all your welding needs... read more
