It doesn't matter how much reading I do online, there's nothing like reading a real book. I come here knowing I'm going to buy books, maybe a magazine, a little something like bookmarks or maybe a plushie and of course I have to sit in the cafe and have something from Starbucks. Their pastries are absolutely delicious too. Everyone is always very helpful no matter if it's finding a particular book or helping me send a book to my daughter in law, who's out of state. read more

No problems finding seating at the cafe although everything is very expensive from the food to the journals to the stuffed animals. But they do offer more than Target does and when I needed books that day, they were there. I love that they have unique games that I couldn't find on Amazon and still have CDs and DVSs, unlike several of the other locations I've been to. read more

Very nice layout and a food selection of books. Ample parking and the have a cafe along with a music movie section.

This is a nice Barnes and Nobel. It's large and has easy parking. The cookbook section, why I came, is not the biggest one, but it was fairly comprehensive. 3 stars for this large chain. I default chains to 3 stars as they must be A-OK to expand as they have. read more

I absolutely love it here. Every time I walk inside of this establishment I end up loving it even more. This is my number one study area because of how quiet peaceful and nice everyone is. All of the employees are super sweet and helpful while the customers here are just awesome as well. The baristas at the coffee shop there are just a delight and make my drinks there just awesome. 10/10 recommend. Not even talking about the wonderful surplus of books and dvds and cds of your favorite author, singer, and I'm pretty sure movie!! read more

I was happy that the book I needed was in stock and ready for pickup first thing . Customer service check out.. not sure how I feel about spending - decent amount of money for books, and then having to grovel for a bag for my purchase and then being made To feel Guilty as they were trying to save their small bags . Not that they were trying to preserve the Earth but save it for the customer behind me??? Go figure. read more

An enjoyable morning visit, with casual browsing. Hard to walk out of this store empty handed (I didn't) given the wide variety and price range. There's a budget section in the left front of the store that is always worth a walk through; a bargain cart with inexpensive books was just outside the door. Pretty impressive selection in a variety of interests. Always worth looking at their evolving specialty mini tables, and at the stand with brand new books. Large section of magazines to the right as you enter the store; varied puzzle/game/hobby section if you go straight back. read more

I was looking to purchase a book, but I was asked to leave because I could not wear a mask. This is a bad business practice and not kind to people who cannot wear one. They made me feel unwanted like I wasn't even a person, (but rather they viewed me as some kind of festering human health hazard). I distance, I sanitize very often and have great hygiene practice. They're just not really good a being customer friendly. Although, I would encourage others to go there without a mask as well, because the longer we allow them to control us, the longer this nonsense goes on. read more

Okay so LOVE to read and I am a fan of shopping local and I now own an e-reader so all those things combined I am often conflicted these days. Having said that my granddaughter "really really really wanted the brown Wimpy Kid book that you can write in...." did not know the name of it but was sure there was only one left and we needed to get it soon. Off we headed for B&N. In the childrens section I found a display of Wimpy Kid books "the one" was not there then on to the shelves...alas not there either. We asked the lady in charge of the childrens section she knew just we were looking for...a quick check of the display and shelves again and a huge sad look on my granddaughters face then the woman said let me check in back....4 minutes later out she comes with a stack of "the brown books" smiles everywhere and an Easter gift score for Memaw. You can not have that experience with an e-reader while ordering on line. Thanks Barnes & Noble!! read more

Unlike other Barnes & Noble's location this branch nobody is helpful no one asks you if they can help you find anything...whereas that other branches there always happy to help you and ask you if you need to find something at this branch though they all stand around closed off unhappy looking read more

This is actually probably the nicest Barnes & Noble I've been in. We were in town for a wedding and decided to pop in. Besides the usual extensive book selection, they also had a really nice gift section with things I've seen at pricey boutiques back home. The staff was also friendly. read more

I love walking into a bookstore. The smells and sounds just instantly make me relaxed. Barnes and Noble has always been my favorite of the big box bookstores. They always have a large selection, friendly staff, and it's a comfortable place to peruse. It's also equipped with a nice café where you can sit in comfort and read, Work on your computer, people watch, or catch up with an old friend. In this area another plus is the fact that BNN cafés have licensed Starbucks inside them! Moving to a Dunkin town was hard for me! read more
