Unfortunately, when we got to the cashier, we were told the gift card could no longer be used because the store is now under different ownership. The cashier, who also happened to be the manager, was unwilling to help resolve the situation. She offered a 10% discount, which was not helpful since we already had a coupon. What was most disappointing was being told to contact the gift card company and "use the new card next time." My daughter just graduated and we are returning to Los Angeles -- when exactly would "next time" be? This experience left a very negative impression during what should have been a special graduation weekend memory. I would appreciate if someone from management or customer service could contact me regarding this issue.
