This is still a pretty bustling Barnes and Noble which is nice to see in our increasingly Amazon Prime world. The layout is pretty neat compared to some other B&N stores that I have been in. The cafe and magazines are nice and close so you can catch up on the latest and greatest while enjoying your overpriced coffee :) Their square footage at this store is impressive and you never feel super crowded in here when browsing through books. I've enjoyed watching Barnes expand their toy and game selections over the past few years which adds some nice diversity to their offerings. As a gamer myself, it's nice to know there is a good backup for people to find new board games when there may not be another viable option in their area. I recently signed up to be a member after finding myself spending more time there, and was happy to learn the 10% discount applies to the cafe as well - nice! I'm still a bit confused as to why they vary their prices so greatly on occasion when it comes to online vs. brick & mortar, but I guess they are trying to keep things closer to Amazon level pricing. However, this is not convenient when one wants to pick something up same day but have to pay more than the price listed online. Staff has always been friendly and lines seem to move right along. BOOKSTORE: This is an expansive bookstore. It's always had a wide variety of books, including kids books. There's a nice mix of classic lit, modern lit, nonfiction, self-help, and teen books. It feels busy, which is nice (I hate bookstores where you feel like there's no one around), but it doesn't feel crowded or claustrophobic. They still have that CD section, which I haven't been into in years, so at this point, I'm wondering why it's still there--just seems like wasted space, since I don't anyone who buys CDs at a B&N. Or even buys CDs in a store anymore. There's a new Nook section, which I didn't check out, since I have an iPad, not a Nook, but I noticed that was different from my last visit. The magazine section is expansive, and this is probably the only place around to get international titles and niche publications. There's usually some British fashion mags, sometimes French Vogue, and sometimes smaller volume American fashion mags. They sometimes have Top Gear Magazine, too. The discount section is always large with interesting stuff. You can get some great coffee table books here, plus calendars after January 1 at great prices. The travel book section is pretty expansive and fun to look through. There are a few comfy seats, although honestly, I would recommend removing that CD section (which is just bothering me now that I think about it) and replacing it with comfy chairs. STARBUCKS: Okay, mixed feelings about this Starbucks. It's pretty much the only place around where you can get Starbucks, and it's clear they've worked hard to make it a desirable all-around cafe (probably because Panera Bread is just around the corner). The pastries and desserts looked AMAZING--they're all from the Cheesecake Factory. And you can get a variety of soups and sandwiches, unlike most Starbucks. Unfortunately, because of "issues," you can't actually use Starbucks cards here--I blame Starbucks, personally. And there is not enough seating here! There are probably 20 chairs and never any of them free. They're all crammed into a tiny area and filled with people just monopolizing them. When you order your drink and then go to get cream/sugar, I feel like all of those people sitting around are just staring at me... Very weird. So yeah. If you need to pick something up from a bricks and mortar bookstore, this is a great place to go. Don't expect to sit down anywhere, though, inside the cafe or outside of it! read more

Never left a yelp review before but I was very touched by the service here. I identify as nonbinary and when I asked one of the people working here to help me find the gardening section they addressed me as "my friend" instead of "miss" or "ma'am". I really appreciated that! I think it's my favorite gender neutral term any service employee has called me and it really made my day. :*) read more

Good store, nice staff. Employees were helpful in helping us navigate the store, since all locations are set up different. It's holiday time so they were quite busy. Also have a cafe in there that sells Starbucks and cheesecakes factory items. read more

STARBUCKS REVIEW- always awful service. The machines never work and always need to be rebooted. They CAN'T make coffee. Ask for something as simple as an ice coffee and it's just awful. read more

Even though, I have a nook its still nice to go inside the actual bookstore. Great selection of books and such, plus good service.

On vacation to attend a wedding. Was told a Starbuck was in Barnes & Nobles so went there with family. Disappointed when told I could not use my Starbuck card. Still had coffee, family went shopping and finally glad I found free WiFi. read more

well well well barnes n nobles, i never thought this bad review would come. but, here we are. i love books. books are great. but not when you guys can't provide the books i'm looking for. i mean, come on. we saw these books in your store two months ago and theyre suddenly gone!!?!?! we know no one bought those awful books because we were the first ones to ever even touch these books i mean they had legit dust on them and a family of bacteria before we even opened them!!!! you know what else just bothers me about this particular barnes n nobles!?!?!? this one lady. she is always yelling at people and cramping on their style. i am quite sick of it. i mean, come on, we are just people, at a book store, be more nice!!! smile a little!!! stop telling me if i'm going to buy the book or not because we both know i'm. and no one else in the right mind was gonna purchase that book!!!! so barnes n nobles, i leave you with this: why don't you put your books in aplhabetical order so we don't have to play a game of waldo for your awful books that lady would love to do that during her spare time rather than yelling at costumers!!! thank you. read more
