I frequent this location often and just kept my mouth shut until I had an opportunity to actually speak to someone in charge. I don't know what they use to mop the floors but clearly by the smell the water used was contaminated. Their clothing selection is okay but I'd rather travel to a more professional location like SLW if I ever think about shopping at anymore Burlington Coat Factories. If you don't enjoy your job management maybe it's time to find a new profession.

For the most part, I was pleased with their selection. The 40% off of Christmas items was a nice plus. When I approached the cashier; I asked if I could apply for their credit card as I would have gotten another 40% off. The cashier had not offered that when my items were totaled. The gal said it would not count on that days visit. I was disappointed as my total was over $250. She did not offer anymore details, and seemed put out at my request. I later found out that I COULD have saved 40% and an extra 20%. Needless to say; this led to my 1 star review. I can't say that I will never return there, but it certainly won't be my "go to" place. Think some training in customer service is warranted!!!

Instead of simply telling us, she snapped "give it to me" and snatched it out of my hand with a nasty attitude -- as if us checking out was somehow a burden to her. Customer service should NEVER feel like we're inconveniencing the employee. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and made what should've been a simple trip super uncomfortable. Very disappointed!

Shell bazaar is your typical little Florida gift shop that is a more affordable option. I come down every few years and I think this year was my least interest in what the store offers, personally. But it is a small shop right on US1 so I don't think there is any harm in stopping in for a quick browse or an inexpensive gift. Maybe the stuff may be more up your alley than mine! There is clothes but nothing for my style personally, there is inexpensive jewelry, coral and shells, kids stuff, beachy knick knacks and signs. Things of that nature. It's not a place for surfboards or things to support that sport. It's more of a souvenir shop type vibe.

The customer service was fantastic from greetings when you walk in the door, up until there was a…read moreline of 5 people waiting while an associate wearing her badge who appeared to be a manager (Carmen I believe ?) hogged an entire line for a solid 15-20 minutes making whatever exchanged and repurchases she was doing with customers waiting in line. Pretty sure this could have waited for a less busy time or even closing. Needless to say she was the talk of the line and we were all floored at the behavior.

Two stories of merchandize somewhat in disarray hopefully they will find their groove. The entrance area is air conditioned but still a little to warm, once you cross over into the second area the heat is on and only intensifies when you climb the wooden steps to the loft. A word of caution the loft area has a few changes in elevation as you walk across the wooden planks, although they are marked they pose a hazard and this is a distraction I didn't want to deal with. It had more of a garage sale feel than a antique and collectibles shop.
