I love thier Starbuck, they have wonderful offers with membership. Barnes and noble brings variety of books. I love how they have quite and small areas for readers to check out their favorite books. They have comfy couches, and chairs as well. There is an area for gifts, bookmarks and small devices. They do many discounts most often. I wish if they start selling electronics devices like labtops.

    Lovely selection of Michigan books

I don't normally like chains, but I love that our local B&N has great events (including their awesome Get Pop Cultured one this past summer!). There's an excellent selection of Michigan books, art supplies, a fun kids area (maybe 1/3 of the store? thank you!), a variety of seating options (fewer big chairs than I'd like, an area with lovely big wooden library tables for working, and cafe tables near and in the starbucks), and very helpful staff at the help desk. The downside? Always a line to check out, at least when I've been there. A good option for book lovers, in addition to the other great bookstores in town.

This is my place I come to when I need something to do. I really enjoy how they rearrange the book stacks every so often so things appear in a different place than previously. This makes me notice things I may have overlooked last time. Their selection of board games, Funko, and kids' toys are wonderful. I love the children's books, there are so many different styles and subjects and ages. I always stop at the Starbucks on my way out and just sip on a nice drink while casually looking over my purchases. Because let's be real, I always make a purchase. I love their tarot card selection as well!

Typical B&N, nice cafe area. I can't figure out why they won't take a Star Bucks card, yeah yeah its a B&N Star Bucks. Come on. Employees of B&N seem far and few in-between when you need them.

Been a long while since I've been here and it was a wonderful return. Was on the search for Nancy Drew books. How lucky, that there was one box set available! Ewe couldn't have found it without the help of the wonderful stuff member in the children's area. Not only were they very helpful and knowledgeable. They even provided some great recommendations for other titles to get as gifts. I also made my way to the graphic novels. Because, why wouldn't I? The section has really grown, I was proud to see that.

Tables to sit at are big and comfy!

Well, if anyone knows me... they know I love books! Cook books, thrillers, drama, sci-fi.... I love them all! And this is definitely the place to come, grab a good book, and hang out for hours on end. They have an amazing kids section with every book your child could want! If they don't have it, tell the cashier and they can order it ! Did I mention how much I love this place? And you know what makes this place even better? They have a cafe with Starbucks in it ! Yep, coffee and books, where is the bad in that?? They also host some amazing events, the Harry Potter ball, superhero events, cosplay events... it's all amazing! They have toys in the back the kids can play with, awesome clearance items at affordable prices and tables you can hang out at.. read a book, color, draw or just get to know other book lovers!! This place is a must! Highly recommend!

In the winter, not so much in the summer, I am here a couple of times a week for coffee and just happen to find a book or magazine to buy. As somebody already said, it is a great place to meet a friend, the cafe doesn't have students taking up tables for the entire day like some cafes in the area have. Ove the years the book selection has become increasing smaller. The toys and games have been given too much space. I have to admit that I have found a book here and ordered it from Amazon while I am there. I would buy less at Amazon if this store had a better selection. I still enjoy coming here.

Its a warm and cozy book store. The children's area is very cute too. One of my favorite places to hang out.

It is a deep joy to go to the children's section to read, play with the various stuffed animals and puppets and play with the train tracks.

Something there is that loves a vacation town rock shop …read more.. I feel a little sorry for the nice ladies who run this place, with various spiritual and Wiccan items. But to my children this place is an amazing treasured purveyor of beautiful rocks - a place they will root through various little cravable beautiful stones, gems, and carvings. A place they would rather go to blow their walking-around money than even the toy store. We could easily go four times in a one week vacation, crossing our fingers and hoping each time the credit card machine works. This may not be the target clientele of Mother Moon but they are friendly and patient and treat our children well, and that is all we could ask.

My not-so-little-anymore (aka-14yo) cousin has recently begun collecting crystals and rocks, and…read moreshe was PSYCHED to see Mother Moon during one of our many trips into Uncommon Coffee while in town one weekend. I had seen the storefront many, many times over my years coming to town but had never gone inside so I popped in with her. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. They're a teeny shop but they have a really wonderfully curated collection of crystals and rocks, both small and some as big as the whole of your hand. There's also a fairly large selection of incense and oils, jewelry and decorative objects, books, and even a small amount of clothing. My cousin recently participated in her first craft fair selling her handmade jewelry and she dropped a nice chunk of her earnings here on some really beautiful stones for her collection! If you're into the metaphysical or just want some lovely things to smell or look at, be sure to pop in and visit them! I will definitely make it a point to stop in and visit every time I'm in town from now on.
