Here's what happened:     *    Salesperson JESSE promised me a TPO membrane roof -- I got cheap peel-and-stick roofing instead.     *    I was upcharged for plywood that I later found buried under trash they left behind.     *    They claimed they tarped my brand-new composite deck -- instead, it now has deep scratches and TAR pressed into it.     *    I was harassed for payment the same day the job was finished, even though the work was a disaster.     *    I've had nails in my tires and nails jammed between my new deck boards ever since.     *    I brought in professional roofers afterward -- the roof is so badly done, it all needs to be torn off and redone. When I called to get answers, HARRY (the general manager) hung up on me and BLOCKED my number. This company is completely unprofessional and dishonest. Denny Adler and Son's replaced our roof and laid a Duro Last membrane (Denny is a "Duro Last…read morespecialist") over plywood without any insulation. I'm sure it saved him $. Thus, 5 years into the 20 Year Warranty, the roof was already starting to show water spots. He was out a few times to patch, but who knew due to condensation( lack of insulation between the heat/cool in the house and the outdoor air), the plywood "subfloor" was rotting out. When we called Adler, he came out and said that the roof was fine and he could patch a few areas. With a 2nd,3rd and even 4th opinion, we learned the roof was trash. I called the Duro Last rep in Columbus, Mike Gottron and he said he would look into it. I guess the 2 of them are buddies and he said that the roof was fine. So we had the ceiling ripped out at our expense and the roof was not ok. The boards were covered in mold and you could see daylight through the membrane. They called out the Duro-Last inspector and he fell through the rotten wood but still claimed that it wasn't their problem. I could go on, but as not to bore anyone, the job was shotty, the product was shotty and neither stood by their guarantee. They sent the same inspector to approve the warranty and see if there are any problems. That's how it is never their fault. Ashley resided the home for us and did a tremendous job. They came in on budget and within the time frame we wanted, but I will say the quality was top rate. The mitered corners, trim and tin work is what separated them from other local siding contractors we've used. We just used them again for a roofing job on another flip house. In one day they had the old roof stripped, the new roof laid and the property was cleaned up and spotless. We will continue to use Ashley for all of our flip homes. In June 2025, I called and texted Jose about an obvious spot of leaks and clogs that I'd noticed for at least a month or so. Sometimes he returned my outreach and sometimes he didn't. When he did, he repeatedly promised that he would be out to examine the problem. He never showed up after 4 or 5 calls and texts to ask/remind etc. He completely left me hanging with non-existent follow up after he made the sale. I have an obvious problem that I'll need to find someone else to fix.
