I was LIED to, OVERCHARGED, IGNORED, and BLOCKED. Here's what happened:     *    Salesperson JESSE promised me a TPO membrane roof -- I got cheap peel-and-stick roofing instead.     *    I was upcharged for plywood that I later found buried under trash they left behind.     *    They claimed they tarped my brand-new composite deck -- instead, it now has deep scratches and TAR pressed into it.     *    I was harassed for payment the same day the job was finished, even though the work was a disaster.     *    I've had nails in my tires and nails jammed between my new deck boards ever since.     *    I brought in professional roofers afterward -- the roof is so badly done, it all needs to be torn off and redone. When I called to get answers, HARRY (the general manager) hung up on me and BLOCKED my number. This company is completely unprofessional and dishonest. This will be the worst review I have ever written. We called for a roof repair, sales person visited and said we could do a repair and sealant and roof would be good for another 5 years. Cost $7100. I deposited $3150 that day. After several people on the roof 6 or 7 visits without communication I was told the work was complete and to pay my balance. ROOF STILL LEAKING. We then experienced an HONEST EMPLOYEE who shared with us that the roof needed replaced and their repairs and sealant would not work. After complaining we received a visit from a supervisor who said he wasn't sure why all that happened but brought an estimate for a new roof with $2300 of our deposit being applied. We were in the process of figuring out finances so we agreed to stay in touch. I then called All Millers Construction 234-430-6461 and Barnes Roofing and Construction 440-476-9967 and received much better estimates with references. As SENIOR CITIZENS on fixed incomes it was a lot of money to loose, but not worth hiring a lawyer. We are pursuing small claims court. We sent a letter requesting our balance to no avail. These guys came and did my roof. Roof had multiple issues afterwards. They refused to answer my calls. Had to call owens corning. They sent a OC rep out and turns out the warranty was BS, my roofs only 8 years old and not even according to owens, the shingles weren't even purchased in the US. OWENS denied the warranty because the shingles they used were seconds bought out OF the country. Now I can't even afford to to replace my roof again. HOW CCAN SOMEONE LIKE THIS STILL BE IN BUSINESS. They are a scam. I won't be going taking them to court. I will have to pay another roofing company if I need repairs. S&K people are too good at playing the system. They are too good to be true. I was told the gutter guy would contact me in a week after they finished my roof. When I called two weeks later they said that I went over budget because they said they replaced all the wood. Including the parts they did not. They had all the photo evidence. I said that we made a deal that even worst case it would not go over $17K and Jessica Brunner promised it included roof and gutters. Jessica said I would have to pay at least $500 more for gutter, but I knew I would get another invoice if I paid the $500. That is a weird price. Instead I asked for all the itemized receipts. Jessica stopped answering me. I call their main number but it does not work. I had asked the main office before for receipts as well, but they said Jessica Brunner would get it to me. Had them do a complete tear off and reshingle plus rebuild two chimneys. Total job close to $30k. They did the worst job leaving us with a leaking roof and thousands of dollars of damages directly caused by their work. They were incapable of fixing it themselves and now refuse further contact. Please do not use this company, they are have poor business practice and do a good job trying to cover it up. The contract does nothing. PLEASE do your research before considering their services. Roof needed to be re done, and this crew came out and immediately went to work, the neighbors were impressed at how quickly the grouping of workers got the job done and so fast, was under 4 hours and there was no left over parts or things in my yard or driveway. My place looked like they were not even there was so clean and fast. I think they handed out cards to the neighbors and I wouldn't be surprised to see their trucks all over my neighborhood. They even did my gutters and some siding at the same time. I would use this company again and again, very professional and fast. read more

Beware . . . A ZERO star rating would best describe my experience. Hired to replace roof. My roof leaked after the work; it did not leak prior to their work. They did not pull permit. They did not get mid-work inspection. Left roof exposed. Damaged interior items. Demanded money before work was done. They threatened, the tried to intimidate and the least was rude. The front people appeared nice, but as one put it, the business practices are not professional and are very questionable. I wish that I had seen these reviews before I hired. A complete headache. I lost all trust, because of untruths. I would not hire them ever and those associated with them. I am hiring an attorney. read more

They were very professional in soliciting my business but when the job was done (which cleanup is still pending), Jim no longer knew who I was when I called him. It took a month to get my roof completed. There were constant excuses, from my difficult neighbor to the weather. Even when the weather permitted, there was always some excuse as to why no work or very little had been done. In the end I paid without seeing the completed job (huge mistake) but I was out of town so I took Jim's word. After returning and checking on the job I saw that I had soffit missing and when I called Jim he said "we don't do that sort of work." Yet the soffit that is missing was there before the roof of the porch was torn off and so at the very least the same piece could have been put back in place. Instead they left me with exposed wood. In addition, I am missing a piece of gutter and have made two calls to Jim to have the debris removed from my property which has fallen on deaf ears. Now I must pay to have someone remove the debris from my recycle bins because it is far too heavy and garbage collection in my city will fine me for having this stuff in the recycle bins. I also have to pay someone to replace the missing piece of gutter and the soffit where the wood is exposed. I should have known from the low estimate (which of course ended up much higher), that things would not work in my favor. read more

They installed a flat roof August 2018. In early spring I found two leaks in my home where they installed the new roof. The ice guard was installed with wrinkles in it and that is damaging the rolled roofing. I have called them a dozen times and they came twice to do a superficial inspection. They did not do a water test and I've been in touch with them multiple times since then. They will not come back out, because they "don't work for free". read more

BEWARE! Pole barn that Zach and S & K Construction and Remodeling built for us in 2015. The wet cement floor looks lovely but it cracked from front to back within a week of completion and was so rough in areas it is impossible to sweep it clean with a broom! There are splatters of cement all along the outside of the barn and on the interior of the door knob on the man door. The step plate on the man door was never secured. To correct this, an old piece of wood was shoved under it, as shown in the picture. There are multiple nails protruding through the interior. Nothing was ever recommended (insulation, etc) to remedy this Be forewarned if you're considering this contractor. They delete any negative reviews on their page/site. I know because they deleted mine. All you will ever see are glowing reviews. There are others who have had bad experiences with this company. I hope they come forward so people can be warned. We all work too hard for our money and when you contract a "professional" in good faith to do a job, you expect it to be done right! read more

Did not finish the jobs paid to do. Did not show up on time. Sent workers that did a great job but did NOT know the compass of the jobs they were sent to do. Price went up and then tacked on gas and mileage for the workers to show up as an extra charge. I do not recommend Zach Kuper. read more
