This place was a highly recommend. The interior has some cool decor and seemed like it be a cool place for a burger and beer. Walked in on a dead Sunday and were waited on quickly. The food was not fast but if it's good then it's worth the wait. It fell short. The flavor was too salty on the meat and way too many fries. The sweet potato fries were over done and overwhelmed the plate unfortunately. Presentation was not a strong suit this day. The pickle was a thin sliver and so disappointing. Folks started to trickle in and when the meal arrived no napkins or ketchup were provided. Our young lady waitress kept sitting in an area by the bar and was on her phone. By far one of the best burger places in Brownsville. I got the Avocado Swiss Burger with the sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were crunchy and with really good flavor. The burger patty was melt-in-your-mouth soft and just the right amount of greasy. Regarding service, the staff were super friendly. The food was brought out in good time. The chairs were comfortable. Only small complaint I can find perhaps the music may be a bit too loud for some people, but that is up to personal preference. Absolutely LOVE this place! Tried it for the first time and was impressed. Had the Choriqueso dip which was delicious. The hubby had the Cuban sandwich with a side Caesar and it was so good! Bread was soft, sandwich was large and salad crisp. One of the best Cubans I've had. I had the steak, eggs and waffle which was good but next time I'm getting the Cuban lol. Drinks were on point and reasonably priced. They have great M-F drink specials and their Happy Hour menu looked awesome! The best part was our bartender, Joe, who made us feel welcome and did a phenomenal job! Joey came by and welcomed us and was very friendly. This is your neighborhood bar with great food and drinks! The drinks are good and strong, the classic hamburger very juicy. Chicken wings were nice and crispy as well, we asked for this. I have stop by a few times, Buffalo wings are great and their burger is good. The server behind the bar has a very welcoming smile and very friendly attitude with great service on top of that. I wasn't impressed. Came here for a work trip and stopped in for lunch. I ordered one of the specialty burgers, the whiskey bbq bacon burger. First bite I was disappointed. It was filled with grease, overloaded with onions and where was the whiskey bbq sauce? My waitress Haley was really nice and probably the best part. The restaurant was clean and looked new although the bar chairs looked uncomfortable. They were playing a mix of Tejano, current and 80's music which I didn't really understand and there was a lady in the corner singing every song. I think she was a manager or something.
