I'm so glad I finally did the Living Water Boat Cruises pontoon tour--it gave me an entirely different perspective on the area. One of the highlights for me was cruising past the former Cypress Gardens property, now part of LEGOLAND. I remember visiting Cypress Gardens as a child, so it was fascinating and nostalgic to see the property from the water, including the historic Florida-shaped swimming pool that is being restored and the beautiful old Florida vegetation. Our captain and guide, Sage, was excellent. She is also a Florida native and was extremely knowledgeable about the local history, the lakes, and the wildlife. During the tour we saw ospreys, otters, an alligator, and many different birds. We even got to watch floatplanes landing and taking off on the lakes, which was an unexpected treat. We toured the southern portion of the Chain of Lakes early in the morning, which was perfect because it was an extremely hot Florida day with temperatures expected in the 90s. The timing made the trip very comfortable and enjoyable. I especially appreciated that I happened to be the only guest on my tour and they still accommodated me rather than canceling. It ended up feeling like a wonderful private tour. This was such an enjoyable way to experience a part of Florida that I had never really seen before, despite growing up here. We felt we could reach out and touch them. As we got to the skyway and turned towards shore, the captain asked if we would like to sail, which we did for a while. It was spectacular. The catamaran was beautiful, clean, comfy and cozy. We were briefed on where to find the lifejackets and there was a small raft on the aft. I cannot say enough about this truly wonderful crew and Boat "Sweet Escape ". I highly recommend and will use them again! Thank you guys for a truly amazing time. My family was blown away.

That's what made my experience on the Norwegian Prima out of Port Canaveral so disappointing. This wasn't just my worst Norwegian cruise, it was the worst cruise I've ever taken. I'll start with the positive: embarkation was fast, organized, and painless. Unfortunately, that's where the consistency ended. From the moment we boarded, it felt like Norwegian wanted to nickel-and-dime us at every turn. I've never paid so much for a vacation only to feel like I was constantly being asked to spend more. The Prima is a beautiful ship, but it's all style and very little substance. Entertainment was repetitive, activities overlapped, and unless your idea of fun is listening to live music all day or playing TikTok-style games, there wasn't much to justify the premium price. The ship felt better suited for seniors and young children than adults looking for an engaging vacation. Housekeeping was another huge disappointment. Our room steward, Ewe, was inattentive and forgetful. My shower leaked for the entire cruise, towels weren't consistently replaced, and the sheets were rarely changed. I didn't pay for some "Sail & Sustain" experiment. I paid for daily cabin service. Please come change my sheets. The food and drinks were wildly inconsistent. I ordered medium steaks and received hockey pucks. I ordered whiskey sours and somehow they tasted either like watered-down disappointment or liquid diabetes. Every bar and restaurant seemed to have its own interpretation of the same menu. The most concerning experience happened in Commodore, where I was subjected to racial comments from a chef. Management's response was underwhelming and left me feeling dismissed instead of valued. Rochelle, this is where you come in. I spoke with so many managers and Guest Services staff throughout the week that people probably thought I worked there. Every conversation ended with an apology, but almost nothing changed. At some point, "I'm sorry" becomes meaningless if there's no action behind it. The staff overall seemed incredibly inexperienced. I lost count of how many crew members openly admitted they were new or didn't know the answer to basic questions. Communication was another issue. Many employees simply smiled, couldn't understand the request, and handed me off to someone else. While I understand cruise ships employ an international crew, guests should still be able to receive effective service. I also experienced several uncomfortable interactions where I felt I was treated poorly by members of the Asian crew. Whether intentional or not, after enough encounters it became impossible to ignore. The ports weren't much better. Every destination felt like the same four souvenir stores copied and pasted into a different country. There was very little that made any stop feel unique. This was also supposed to be a group cruise, yet I never once spoke with our group consultant, Kolya. Multiple calls and voicemails went unanswered, forcing me to piece together my own reservation outside the group. I usually sail from Miami, but I drove the extra distance to Port Canaveral expecting the Prima to be worth it. It wasn't. By the end of the cruise, I wasn't sad it was over. I was relieved. I've never been happier to get off a ship. What frustrated me most is that I know Norwegian can do better because I've experienced it on ships like the Bliss and Breakaway. The Prima simply didn't deliver the level of service, quality, or consistency I've come to expect from Norwegian. I'm glad I've used all but $75.25 of my CruiseNext credits because this sailing has seriously made me question whether I'll cruise Norwegian again. I don't want another generic corporate apology thanking me for my feedback. I want accountability. I want better training. I want consistency. Unfortunately, this vacation felt more like work than a vacation, and that's not why anyone books a cruise. After this experience, I'm genuinely considering whether it's time to try another cruise line altogether. One star.

The yacht was supposed to include the following features and amenities: * 4 staterooms, 3 bathrooms * Covered aft deck seating for 6. * Air-conditioned interior cabin with dining table seating. * Large sun pad on the bow for sunbathing. * Bathrooms equipped with Vacu-Flush toilets. * Standing shower in the bathroom. * Minibar, ice maker, 43" Smart TV. * High-speed Wi-Fi connection. * Bluetooth 1200w JL Audio stereo system. * 21.5kw generator providing full ship power for electronics and more. * Underwater Jets. * Inflatable cabana. * Galley. * Smart Cast TV. * Satellite. * Wi-Fi. * A/C and Heat. * Watermaker. * Icemaker. * Three full bathrooms with showers. * Toiletries. As listed on the website. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the yacht, there were numerous issues, including: * No electricity in any outlets on the boat as the generator was not functioning (we could not charge our phones or plug in anything. * The Tv would not even turn on for us to use the smart cast TV. * 2 out of 4 staterooms were taped shut with a handwritten note that says, "Crew Only" * No Wi-Fi at all (there was a Wi-Fi router, but it was not operational). * The Bluetooth 1200w JL Audio stereo system was NOT functioning (which meant there was NO MUSIC throughout the 70 ft yacht. We found a battery-operated Bluetooth speaker that was intentionally left there because he knew the full speaker system was not working but did not inform me). * Only 1 bathroom out of 3 promised was accessible due to the staterooms being locked. * NO ACCESS TO A SHOWER AT ALL AS IT WAS INTENTIONALLY LOCKED in the one bathroom that was unlocked * No Blow-Up cabana * There were NO WATER JETS AT ALL (We did not even see the water jets until we were leaving the boat and one of the crew members opened a locked stateroom door and we saw that the water jets were inside that locked stateroom.) I promptly contacted Shane to voice my concerns, as the situation was unfair to both me and my guest. We had anticipated enjoying all the amenities, yet not even a shower was accessible in the bathroom. Shane mentioned that the amenities were not guaranteed, but he never informed me prior to booking that these features would be unavailable for my reservation. When I confronted him about his website not indicating that these rooms and amenities were not guaranteed, he immediately went to amend the wording on the site concerning the locked rooms. He then texted me to say we couldn't use the water jets because we were consuming alcohol, despite the fact that not everyone on the boat was drinking. Additionally, we were not offered the chance to use them before we started drinking. I had to argue with him about my security deposit, which I eventually did receive back. I would never recommend booking with this man if you are a Black person. They seemed overly fearful of having us on the yacht, locking away everything, including the shower water jets and cabanas that were advertised on the site. There were no functioning electrical outlets, no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, nothing. This is truly an ultimate SCAM charters.

Very disappointed with our experience…read more We booked a 4:30 PM dolphin boat tour for four people and were really looking forward to it. Around 11 AM, we received a call letting us know that we were currently the only four people booked and that they were going to see if guests from the 2 PM tour could join us. At no point were we told that our tour might be canceled. By 2:30 PM, we still had not heard anything, so we had to call them ourselves to confirm whether the 4:30 tour was still happening. That's when we were told they had decided it was not financially viable to run the tour with just the four of us and had canceled it. We were extremely disappointed that they canceled our tour at the last minute without proactively notifying us. We had planned our entire day around this experience and were left having to reach out ourselves to find out that it was no longer happening. We completely understand that businesses have to make decisions based on demand, but the communication and customer service were disappointing. If a tour is going to be canceled, customers should be notified as soon as that decision is made rather than having to call and find out themselves shortly before the scheduled departure. Unfortunately, this experience left us very disappointed and we would not book again.
