The Barre Code Plano is awesome! I was invited to a class by a friend who is a member. I wasn't sure what to expect & was a little nervous since I hadn't worked out in months. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, checked in & took a quick tour of the studio before the class started. They have lockers available, changing rooms, a ton of props to use with each class. Every class has a different routine (you will be so sore after)! The teachers walk around and help with form/poses which is great if you're not 100% sure what you should be doing! They are all so friendly & push you in a positive way! This studio offers many different classes from 6AM-7PM so you can work around your schedule. They do recommend you get there 5-10 min early(a reminder email is sent to you the day before), b/c once you are in the workout room the front door is locked for security purposes. That's great b/c you feel comfortable knowing you & your belongings will be safe while you are in class & you won't have people strolling in 10 min after class has started. After every class you will feel stronger & more confident :) Give this studio a try, you won't regret it!! read more

The Barre Code is such a unique and transformative studio! It offers a great barre workout that targets your upper body, core, thighs and glutes, but then it also integrates cardio with HIIT, dance and kickboxing in seven different formats. The variety is unmatched! So this little studio is a perfect one-stop shop for all your fitness needs. It's clean, bright and lively. The staff and instructors made me feel so welcome the moment I walked in, and two years later, I've grown to love the women here and have formed a truly supportive community. Julie, the owner and master trainer, is so, so helpful and thoughtful. You can tell she throws her heart and soul into this business with all the little ways she makes her clients feel special -- whether it's learning everyone's names or throwing events and get-togethers outside of the studio so members (and new clients) can meet and bond. I became a Barre Code member right after this Plano location opened and it is fantastic! I love the variety of classes. No other barre studio I looked into had so many awesome choices, and at different times of day to suit your schedule. You can do standard Barre class, Brawl (powerful boxing moves), Barre-dio (energizing cardio and dancing), HIIT (high intensity interval training which is challenging but so worth it) and even BarreRestore (great for recovery and stretching). The instructors are so positive, encouraging and knowledgeable. They motivate and keep you pushing all through class. And each class ends with a bit of relaxation, restoration and words of encouragement and affirmation. I always leave feeling proud and accomplished. Everyone at the studio is so friendly and welcoming. There are fun events and contests/challenges that keep you engaged and driven. It has been gratifying seeing results and feeling stronger. I've done barre, I've done HIIT classes... And I love both! For me, the best part of The Barre Code is that they offer this variety of classes and great class times for my schedule! My favorite 3 classes (in order!): 1. Brawl/Interval brawl (their take on cardio kick boxing) 2. Total body conditioning 3. Traditional barre I was also lucky to join during a "Challenge" where you have a limited amount of time to take a certain amount of classes. The energy in the studio and classes is palpable! If you're looking for high energy, super positive classes (not uncommon to here a "woo hoo!" during a particularly tough sprint!) this is the place for you. The Barre Code Plano is my favorite workout place and second home! I took my first Barre class in September, 2015 and the next day started their fall challenge. I've been a member ever since. I love the variety of classes they offer, Barre, Barre Restore, Brawl and Bootcamp. Each class I take still challenges me to this day. Through out the year they also offer challenges which I love the opportunity to join these women in cheering each other on to reach our individual goals. This community of women is like no other! I first tried The Barre Code Plano on class pass over two years ago, and finally became a member in November of 2017. It is one of the best decisions I could of made! This place is more than just a gym - it is a community. I love being surrounded by so many powerful and confident women. I have yet to meet a "mean girl" at this studio. I tried the free resolution class last week, and I signed up for the month of January because the class was AWESOME! I've gone to 6 classes in the last 7 days and have enjoyed every single one of them. The instructors are kind, warm, and open. I've done barre previously at other studios and felt like no one really cared if I showed up, but these ladies greet you, talk to you, and correct your form! (All things I appreciate in a studio). I plan to sign up for a monthly membership. Bottom line: try it and you'll love it! read more

Rarely do I give a 5-star review. However, the Barre Code is truly bar none when it comes to fitness and fun. I am uber particular about how I spend my time sweating. Like most people I know, my daily agenda runneth over, so I need to make sure I'm getting the most out of my time commitments. The Barre Code works every muscle of my body. I've been attending The Barre Code Plano for 3 years and love it even more than when I started. It has made me a stronger woman both physically and mentally. The community is so supportive and the teachers are amazing. There are always modifications if you need it and every instructor is positive in class. I have been attending Barre Code for about 5 months, and it's the first place I've ever been motivated to attend regularly. The whole staff is just so welcoming and warm, and willing to meet you where you are. It's so easy to been intimidated by group classes, but everyone there helps you to try new things and feel comfortable to push yourself. The instructors are all amazing and give very clear cues and help me with where I should be feeling the work in my body, as well as lots of options to make the classes accessible for all fitness levels. They offer all different types of classes (ranging from traditional barre class, to barre-dio, barre-yasa, HIIT, etc) to complete your fitness routine all in one studio, it's great! I've been coming to Barre Code for 7 years, and I've been very happy. I've tried other barre studios but this studio offers other classes, and the classes change their format very 2 weeks so it's never monotonous.
