    Motto for B3
    Meri S.

If you've never tried Barre before, Barre3 Tucson Foothills is the perfect place to start! The Signature classes offer a full-body workout that's fun, dancable, and just the right amount of challenging. They've helped me strengthen and stabilize my lower back and core, which is something I really needed as I healed from an injury. The Strength classes are a slower, more intentional burn, using heavier weights to really focus in. What sets B3 apart is their emphasis on listening to your body, no pressure to push through pain, just encouragement to move in a way that supports you. The instructors and staff are all so welcoming and uplifting. Barre3 is the fitness community you never knew you needed. Give it a try. You'll love it!

My daughter is a barre 3 instructor! All the instructors that get me to work harder than I'd ever workout on my own!

Barre3 Foothills Tucson has truly been a gift in my life. It's the perfect combination of strength, cardio, core work, stretching, and mindfulness--and somehow, it's all done in a way that feels both powerful and sustainable. The balance of movement and stillness, challenge and compassion, makes every class something I genuinely look forward to. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and so intentional in their guidance. They offer modifications and motivation that make it feel like this workout is for everyone, at every level. I love that I leave feeling stronger and more energized, not depleted. I've found something here that I know I can continue doing for the rest of my life. It supports not just my body, but also my mind and spirit. I'm so grateful for this beautiful community and the care and dedication that goes into every class. Thank you, Barre3 Foothills Tucson--you've made a lasting difference in my life.

    Barre3 Tucson Foothills studio

Barre3 Tucson Foothills is hands down my favorite workout. I've tried yoga, Pilates, and other barre studios, but nothing compares. It's the best full-body workout I've ever done--challenging, energizing, and totally customizable to your needs. The studio itself is beautiful--clean, bright, and full of positive energy the moment you walk in. The owners are the absolute sweetest, and the front desk and instructors are so welcoming and knowledgeable. They're always ready to help with modifications or support you in making the workout your own. I genuinely look forward to every class. Barre3 Foothills is something special. If you try it you won't be disappointed.

The workout incorporates a lot of pilates and yoga movements, which I love, but with sneaky bits of cardio and strength training.

I've been taking classes for over a year now. I've tried both mat and reformer classes, as well as the Sunday yoga class. The entire feeling of the studio is one of relaxed and open acceptance, which is very important to me. My body absolutely loves how much these classes support strength, flexibility, and balance. As a dancer and a health coach it's extremely important to me to have places I can go on a regular basis to support my fitness goals. Stephanie, Anne, and Miranda are the teachers I've worked with, and I recommend all of them. The classes are small, which allow for personal attention from the instructors and make it so you can get feedback right then and there. I've even grown in height since taking the reformer classes -- and I am short so this was exciting for me. :-)

There is only one therapy room in the back of the studio so my friend and I were booked one after the other which was totally fine. Jeanine is a great massage therapist and her gentle demeanor and small frame is deceiving. She is strong and uses her skill to work out the knots and kinks of her clients. She applied just the right amount of pressure and I felt incredibly relaxed after my hour long session. BodyQuest Pilates' massage therapist Jeanine was willing to open the shop for us on a Sunday to make it convenient for my friend and I. That's really excellent customer service and speaks of someone who wants to be successful. Now, about that pilates......

After some research I decided on PHP and it's very experienced instructor/owner. The latest injuries had left me with long term damage from the high speed car crash, to my left shoulder, back and ankle/foot and the poor quality of medical care at Banner including missing broken bones and ending up with massive blood clots, leading to damage to my left leg and what was thought to be permanent swelling to the left ankle. After putting in the work of conventional recovery as far as it would go, and the resulting compensations which led to a torn meniscus in the right knee, I had done a lot of physical therapy and exercising, but knew that I'd always have the pain and discomfort. After some thought I decided that Pilates might have some benefit. Signed up for classes with Lorraine and despite a lot of discomfort in the beginning each session left me feeling stronger and my body more aligned with real reduction in both pain and discomfort. Lorraine is an excellent instructor, hands on and meticulous and through her and Pilates, I've found some real improvement. I started this with the hope that I'd get some reduction in the discomfort and pain but now I'm more balanced and aligned, with significant reduction in swelling in the left ankle, and looking forward to regaining aspects that I thought were no more. Highly recommend Lorraine to anyone.

Longtime members repeatedly voiced concerns, but those concerns were ignored. Several outstanding instructors left, and the quality and consistency of the instruction declined significantly. What disappointed us most was the way members were treated. Communication became poor, management was often dismissive, and customer service was lacking. Instead of valuing loyal members who had supported the studio for years, it felt as though we had become an inconvenience. I even completed the Club Pilates instructor training because I loved Pilates and wanted to deepen my knowledge. After seeing firsthand how experienced instructors and longtime members were treated, I realized this was not an environment where I would ever want to teach. Our memberships were ultimately canceled by management. The cancellation email itself contained contradictory statements, saying our memberships were canceled "effective immediately" while also stating we had already paid through a later date. That lack of professionalism summed up the experience we had been seeing for quite some time. The instructors who remain are doing their best, and many of them are wonderful people. This review is directed at the management and ownership, not the instructors. It's sad because this studio used to feel like a true community. We made lasting friendships there, and that's what we will miss most. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend this location under its current management.
