    Motto for B3
    Meri S.

If you've never tried Barre before, Barre3 Tucson Foothills is the perfect place to start! The Signature classes offer a full-body workout that's fun, dancable, and just the right amount of challenging. They've helped me strengthen and stabilize my lower back and core, which is something I really needed as I healed from an injury. The Strength classes are a slower, more intentional burn, using heavier weights to really focus in. What sets B3 apart is their emphasis on listening to your body, no pressure to push through pain, just encouragement to move in a way that supports you. The instructors and staff are all so welcoming and uplifting. Barre3 is the fitness community you never knew you needed. Give it a try. You'll love it!

My daughter is a barre 3 instructor! All the instructors that get me to work harder than I'd ever workout on my own!

Barre3 Foothills Tucson has truly been a gift in my life. It's the perfect combination of strength, cardio, core work, stretching, and mindfulness--and somehow, it's all done in a way that feels both powerful and sustainable. The balance of movement and stillness, challenge and compassion, makes every class something I genuinely look forward to. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and so intentional in their guidance. They offer modifications and motivation that make it feel like this workout is for everyone, at every level. I love that I leave feeling stronger and more energized, not depleted. I've found something here that I know I can continue doing for the rest of my life. It supports not just my body, but also my mind and spirit. I'm so grateful for this beautiful community and the care and dedication that goes into every class. Thank you, Barre3 Foothills Tucson--you've made a lasting difference in my life.

    Barre3 Tucson Foothills studio

Barre3 Tucson Foothills is hands down my favorite workout. I've tried yoga, Pilates, and other barre studios, but nothing compares. It's the best full-body workout I've ever done--challenging, energizing, and totally customizable to your needs. The studio itself is beautiful--clean, bright, and full of positive energy the moment you walk in. The owners are the absolute sweetest, and the front desk and instructors are so welcoming and knowledgeable. They're always ready to help with modifications or support you in making the workout your own. I genuinely look forward to every class. Barre3 Foothills is something special. If you try it you won't be disappointed.

The workout incorporates a lot of pilates and yoga movements, which I love, but with sneaky bits of cardio and strength training.

This is a hard review to write because if I were rating the classes and instructors alone, this…read morewould easily be five stars. If I were rating my experience with the studio's policies, it would be closer to one. So three stars feels like the fairest reflection of a place I genuinely loved, but ultimately decided to leave. For almost three years, Yoga Pod was one of the rare places where I actually looked forward to exercising. The teachers are wonderful, the classes are excellent, and there really is something special about the community they've created. Unfortunately, over time I began to feel a disconnect between that sense of community and the way the studio's policies were implemented. The biggest shift began with a new attendance policy requiring members to arrive at least one minute early or be turned away. I understand why it exists, and I've actually noticed that classes run more peacefully because of it. What troubled me was how it was introduced: no community discussion or survey that I was aware of, no adjustment period, and zero tolerance from the start. I was turned away several times after arriving exactly at the scheduled class time. Having run small businesses myself, I would have approached that differently. The rule could still be the rule, but I would have wanted to understand how it affected longtime members and give people some grace while they adjusted. That's harder than simply applying a rule consistently, because it requires knowing your members and sometimes making judgment calls. But to me, that's also one of the great advantages of a small, community-oriented business. Then I had an unusual booking issue where a batch of classes ended up on my calendar on the wrong dates. I missed two classes and even showed up on the wrong day for one, genuinely believing I was scheduled. Yoga Pod investigated and found no known problem with their app; meanwhile, I regularly use other fitness apps without this issue. Ultimately, neither of us could really know what happened. When I asked how something similarly ambiguous would be handled in the future, I was told that unless Yoga Pod could verify a problem on their end, the usual policy would apply. To me, that means when no one can really know what happened, the default is that it's the member's fault. That's the part that just didn't feel right to me. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with running a business this way. Clear, consistently enforced rules are simpler. But it's not how I've run small businesses, and I realized it isn't what I want from a place I consider my community. That became especially clear when I started looking elsewhere and returned to another studio where I'd accidentally allowed nearly $2,000 in credits to expire while dealing with health issues. I told them it was entirely my fault. They extended every credit another four months anyway. When I came in, they gave me a rose and wished me well. They didn't have to do any of it. They chose generosity. That's ultimately what this came down to for me. Yoga Pod communicates with extraordinary warmth and generosity, but when actual decisions had to be made, I didn't experience that same generosity in their actions. I don't expect businesses to waive every rule or excuse every mistake. But I care deeply about what happens when rules meet actual human beings. To me, that's when the values of a community matter most. I also want to acknowledge the people who made Yoga Pod so special to me. Shae seems to be the mastermind behind the unique class design. Kumari has incredible grace and kindness. Brij was sweet to me even when we disagreed on policy. And Mallory made me feel genuinely part of a community. I can adore these people while also feeling that the organization's policies didn't support me in the same way. The good thing is that leaving pushed me to look around, and I've discovered other places and classes I'm excited about. I'm sad to leave, but I'm also grateful this experience clarified what I want from a fitness community: I want to feel known and supported.

Dear, Management & Customer Experience Team, Chuze Fitness Tucson Mall…read moreI am writing to share feedback regarding my experience at the Tucson Mall location (4619 N Oracle Rd). I have been a member of Chuze Fitness and regularly visit the Grant & Craycroft location, where the employees are always polite, welcoming, and treat every member equally.  Unfortunately, my experience at the Tucson Mall location has been consistently disappointing due to the behavior of the front desk staff. When entering the gym, the employees at the front desk frequently ignore me. Recently, as I walked in, an employee standing near the entrance actively turned away to look at his phone instead of greeting me. Directly in front of me, staff actively acknowledged and said goodbye to another member, but completely ignored me as I entered and exited. This selective greeting creates an environment that feels unwelcoming and dismissive. Every paying member deserves to be treated with equal courtesy and basic respect, regardless of background or appearance. Chuze Fitness promotes a inclusive, community-focused environment, but the behavior at the Tucson Mall front desk does not reflect those standards. I hope management addresses front-desk professionalism with the team so all members receive equal, polite treatment upon entering.  Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback.
