She didn't once explain the product she was using or why (just the tool that she was using) or examine my skin prior to working on it. Huh? Shouldn't you want to use product and ingredients based on my skin and not just what I think I may need? In the middle of the facial she used what seemed like a paper towel to wet my skin and it dripped in my ear the whole time which was annoying and not super professional. The skincare products were incredibly drying to my skin and smelled DISGUSTING. I was just excited for it to be over and it was clear this was just about their tools. Then on the way out they tried to tell me I owed them $50 and we went back and forth while they tried to tell me the date I was in there and with whom. After I finally said I've never in my life been here but will pay you your $50 they decided to verify my phone number and name and said "oh sorry I clicked the wrong name". Listen we all make mistakes but this place is unprofessional and clearly here for profit not because they care about skin health. Their cheaper prices represent the quality.

I learned a lot, and had a lot done, taking closer to an hour than the 25 minutes planned, which was totally fine with me (she asked to make sure)! My skin is very sensitive, and I had some small scratches afterward that healed in 2-3 days. However, Covid-19 hit and he was unable to go. Although memberships were supposed to be on hold, I continued to be charged. After calling several times in attempts to cancel my membership (since there is NOWHERE on the site that provides cancellation instructions) the manager/owner called me back. Unfortunately, they do not provide refunds for erroneous charges although it was their fault. So, no problem, my husband receives a few extra massages than expected. I was told the membership was canceled. Now here it is 3 months later, and I am still being charged. I have called Again - of course the receptionist can do nothing to assist me. I have to wait for a call back from whoever it is Does have the authority to cancel my membership... maybe. Clearly, Massage Envy's business practice is to keep billing customers with no regard to the time they will spend giving them the run-around, or the frustration one has to go through in the meantime. If I had known there would be a delay, I would have rescheduled instead of wasting time I had planned my day around. This has never been an issue in the past, which makes it even more disappointing. Because of the lack of communication and consideration for my schedule, I'll be going elsewhere. I truly hate to leave my stylist, but I need a salon that communicates clearly and respects clients' time.
