What sealed the deal for me was their great pricing AND the fact that they actually interact with people via social media. That's huge for me. A week or so before our arrival I was freaking about pairing outfits for my husband and me. They quickly responded on a weekend and I was so grateful. We had our photos done Friday evening. They suggested cute poses for us and even took a few solo. Maggie was nearby and fixing my crazy hair (it really has a mind of its own) and my accessories so everything looked together. He was a lot more personable than most and didn't slap me with a bunch of overpriced package deals. He worked so well with us and I am very satisfied with my choice. We were looking for a photographer who would accommodate our family of 8 and not overcharge like most places. Daymaker was it! They were on it from the beginning working with our schedule and even met us at our location. The photgrapher was very nice and polite. He took many great pictures and did not only limit us to 20 or less like most places in the area. We received our pictures back in just a few weeks as promised and they turned out great. I would highly reccommend them to any family visiting the area that is just really wanting a a good amount of captured memories and at a very fair and reasonable price. Her prices are high, her service is shit, only half of the photos were usable and the other half were missing some really major moments- not a single bridal or groom solo!!! Arrived 30 minutes late to the reception and the entrace included fireworks and she said "someone should have told me"- I told you by telling you what time to arrive like WHAT?? Zero outreach, communication was always from me, she canceled our engagement photo session after we had already booked tickets and hotels and scheduled all of our other wedding appointments around since we were flying in from California- zero attempts to reschedule, zero apologies, zero engagement photos for the wedding. I mean there was no lack of trying to blame everything on us- we are across the country! Every single shot her second shooter took had to be tossed. They were so embarrassing and beyond amateur. You will see her best work on her site so I will add some of the ones she doesn't show you later on if I can bring myself to. The few pictures we got from Lacey that we liked were great! But there was so many mis-steps, the worst communication and just a terrible overall experience. Please do not hesitate to contact me I could go on and on but every time I think about this experience it truly upsets me to the extent that we still have never printed a wedding book because we don't have enough photos to fill in the story- not a single food photo, no photos of our lovely center pieces, no bridesmaids dresses, we arranged a lovely gift bag for all the guests I wanted photographed but the shitty second shooter got her hands on those so total moot, she was also in charge of the groom/groomsman getting ready so no suit photos.... take my word for it there are sooooooo many great photographers out there and I thought I had done my due diligence so when I had red flags I kept ignoring them but I should have canceled her the moment she nonchalantly canceled out engagement shoot.

She brought Lacey as her associate/assistant photographer for the day. How lucky were we to have 2 great photographers?! I'm not quite positive which specific images were edited by which photographer, but Lacey posted one image on her Instagram account, and I absolutely loved it - the colors, light, the moment - just perfect. (I'm sure that specific photo had to be her editing). Overall, Lacey's sweet and calm demeanor kept me at ease on the day of the wedding; she was a pleasure to communicate with afterwards; and the photos are just beautiful and captured the spirit of the best day of our lives. Our little one can be difficult to get to smile for photos and he was able to capture some really pretty photos of her playing in the sand/water with a big grin on her face, that we will treasure. The next day he texted us a preview collage and then emailed a link to our online gallery a little over a week later. Our total cost was around $275, a reduced military rate I believe (with 25% down to get on his schedule). Personal Touch Photography was much more affordable than other photographer's rates I compared in the area for similar services.

So we wanted someone to photograph us in some candid moments down on the beach with the kids. So she hung out and really captured some great moments of all us having a great time as a family. Usually there's someone always left out of the photo, so this was a great way to really save the moments with all of us. She captured the kids doing some things that we didn't even know happened, until we saw the photos. After a while, we forgot she was even there and that's when the real moments with the kids happened and we got to have those memories preserved forever. Thank you again Melissa.
