Great place for chinese food, fresh food and very tasty. I was impress with the amount of food in each dish. My new go to place.

I ordered chicken Cantonese chow mein and lemon chicken. Please take a look at my picture of the lemon chicken. Absolutely the worst Chinese food I've ever had. It was 70 percent batter and the chicken tasted like old chicken that had been forgotten in the freezer and freezer burned. The chow mein was also nothing special. I don't know how as an Asian restaurant they were able to mess up one of the easiest dishes to make. I have not done a review in a while and the food was so bad for $32 dollars that I'm taking time out of my busy day to write this review. Stay away from this place. read more

My sister and I randomly decided to try out this restaurant for takeout and now it has become a family favourite when we're craving Chinese food. They have an extensive menu, which has something for everyone. You can get a free chicken fried rice when you spend over $60 before tax, which is something that my family can easily do, so this is a nice added bonus. We usually order: F1 Beef with Broccoli, E18 Sesame Chicken and J10 Stir Fried Egg Noodles plus a couple of A2 Spring Rolls. This order feeds a family of 3 for multiple meals, which is great when we have a busy week and don't have a lot of time to cook. The flavours of the meats and sauces are excellent and the stir fried egg noodles are perfect comfort food. We usually place our order by phone so that it's ready for pick up. All of our interactions with the staff have been good and the takeout process is always easy. Conveniently located in Barrhaven Town Centre, this takeout and delivery spot is worth checking out for its tasty eats! read more

Best best best best Chinese place ever. I called for delivery the lady was very nice and very friendly. I ordered 2 large combos, a large thing of steamed veggies in bean sauce, 2 sides of fries and egg rolls also 6 drinks and all came to 61$ with delivery so I think the price is good. She said it would take 45 minutes it only took 30 so again I'm super impressed. The food itself was super super fresh and delicious and the containers from the combos are super good ! read more

We've been ordering from here quite frequently for some time. But it's been a while since our last take out event, so we thought we'd re visit. There were a few new items on the menu. We decided on getting the sweet and sour noodles to accompany our usual order of shrimp and mixed vegetables and lemon chicken. The noodles were too vinegary. The shrimp and vegetables had a taste that bordered on rotten. Quality is a lot worse than it was before. We will not be returning. read more

We have ordered from here several times and we are always pleased with the food! We have a "regular" order of Vegetable Cantonese Chow Mein, Spicy Crispy Beef (General Tao's Beef), and open end egg rolls - lots of egg rolls! The food is always fresh and tasty, and when we order delivery, it always arrives faster than anticipated, which is awesome! This is the place to take your date your momma your dad or stepdad your good friend who's just visiting from the States. not so great: It's way out in the suburbs of Nepean. On the plus side, it's worth the visit -- especially especially if you're actually already in Nepean. Prices are fair/reasonable. Decent value indeed. Would I go back? Obsessed with their eggrolls! :D First off, their customer service is fantastic--whenever I go in to order I'm greeted with a smile and chat with the lady at the front desk. Everyone there is very polite and thorough when they take my order. The food and service are fantastic in my experience. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because realistically I've only tried maybe 8 different dishes from there--I'm very picky so I haven't ventured far on their menu, but it's very extensive, and the dishes I've tried have exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Asian Dragon over many other asian take-out places--and don't forget to try those amazing eggrolls! ;P read more

Really disappointed in last nights take out. Friendly service, but once home my daughter's chicken balls were dried out and barely edible. Also I realized too late that I paid over $4 for one almond cookie that was stale. I gave $5 and threw the change in my purse only to discover I was only given thirty-five cents in change. $4.65 for 1 cookie???? I wish I had noticed before I left I would have gone right back. Pretty sure we won't be going here again unfortunately. read more

Always a go-to in my family. I do both dine in and takeout fairly often and the staff are very friendly. I can always leave there satisfied with my food. I usually stick with the same few dishes and really enjoy the summer rolls, Pho rare beef soup, and a variety of their vermicelli dishes. If you are familiar / fond of Vietnamese food avoid at all costs. The hot and sour soup was a mysterious ketchupy blend. Spring rolls appear to be store bought. I ordered Pho for my main course and was very disappointed. It appeared that the noodles had been pre cooked hours earlier and were a soggy sorry mess. The rare beef was not rare ... it was grey and tasted off. The broth was sort of just salty ... no real beef flavor ... because of the aforementioned grey nastiness. read more

Fantastic food. I've been buying Vietnamese food here since I moved to Barrhaven years ago and it is great food. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 out of 5 is the service - slow and not very good. The service has been terrible since it opened which is why I only get take-out. I was really quite unimpressed with this restaurant. I had read a few reviews saying it was great and then when I went all that was good was the service. They are friendly and quick, but I found it not a relaxing environment as the young girl serving me seemed very on edge and nervous about what was going on in the kitchen and I could here yelling coming from the kitchen and I didn't find that pleasing or professional. Next was the food, I ordered medium rare beef pho and pork spring rolls. The spring rolls were so greasy that they were soggy, and they had a off flavour to them. The Pho was the big disappointment. The broth was pretty bland and the noodles were way over done to the point they were globed together and fell apart when I tried to eat it. Then the bean sprouts that they had served me were not fresh, they were turning brown and they were no longer crisp, and the lime they served with it was dried out. I personally will not go back to this restaurant again and will stick to my favorite restaurant @36 Pho. read more

Ignoring the fact that this place is the dirtiest place I've walked into, I've never had worse service in my life. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude, trying to belittle me as much as possible. I ordered a couple different items off the menu, none of which were fresh. I called to ask if they served fried won tons, they told me they did, so I placed an order of that too, when I went in for pickup I was extremely dissatisfied. Their "fried won tons" were nothing but deep fired bread strips. When I asked the woman at the front if there was maybe a mix-up in the order, she acted as if I was totally incompetent to understand and asked me if I've ever seen fried won tons before. I told her that I've ordered from many other places and have never been disappointed until now. She then continued to belittle me and asked me to google what fried won tons were, so I did, and the pictures that popped up looked nothing like the "won tons" they served me. She then told me that I was not using "their google" and I was still in the wrong. All I asked for was the money back for the won tons, not the rest of the order, she then started screaming and told me to immediately leave the restaurant while refusing to give me any of my food that I already paid for. I will never return here again, and I will definitely never recommend ordering from here, scared to even think about what the kitchen looks like. read more
