We were so excited to see a resturant open late where we could order Vietnamese food. What a disappointment!. They got our order wrong and the pho soup was bland with zero flavour. Tasted like oil water and it was only luke warm at best. The spring rolls were cold! Took a bite and the inside was right out of the fridge cold. Rare beef + Beef flank + Beef balls + Veggies Pho. The broth is amazing. The noodles are chewier than I'm used to but it was still good. I also got salmon sashimi (2pc) and it was delicious! I've been a few times but I went a week ago and I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and the vermicelli dish with pork, sugar cane shrimp and beef. The shrimp spring rolls comes in two but the portion was a bit smaller than what you would expect. They were crispy on the outside and the shrimp was still tender on the inside. As for the vermicelli dish, it had all of the 3 proteins that I had ordered. It came with vermicelli noodles, cucumbers, carrots and a bowl of fish sauce that I immediately drizzled all over my plate. It was a good amount of food and I quite enjoyed it. I liked that this restaurant was a fusion of Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese food. This is a good place if you can't seem to decide which cuisine you wanted to have. read more

This is a pretty great place to go if you're craving some Asian food and don't want a huge menu. The place is pretty small on the inside, but it's great to sit outside in the summer time. I usually order the sushi here and it's pretty good, but a bit pricey as well. The chicken is a crunchy wrap is a solid choice and my boyfriend usually grabs that. Verdict: A good stop if you can't decide on Pho, Thai, or Sushi. We came here for the reason stated above, we simply couldn't decide. Consequently, we collectively ordered the chicken pad Thai, the beef vermicelli, a spicy salmon roll, and the chicken rice paper wraps to start. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ottawa. The food is great, the service is fantastic, but the prices are a bit high. Whenever we go there, I order the chicken pad Thai and a chicken fried rice - both dishes are delicious. They let you pick your spiciness.. I tried 12 the last time (which is the highest the offer) and it was good! It was spicy but not so spicy where it ruins the flavor of the food. The service at this location is beyond amazing. The waiters are always near by to help you and the food is made extremely quickly from when you order. The price is a bit on the higher side, especially for dinner time. For example, a pad Thai would set you back about $15. Most places that can be had for $10-$13. So it's not much more expensive, but still expensive nonetheless. Overall, I would recommend this location to a friend and I will keep coming back here as long as the service and food stays consistent! read more

My husband and I Just finished our meal at Pho Thi and we are not pleased with this place. The service was very slow(it took them 15 minutes to get me my hot saki) and the temperature of the restaurant was about 10 Celsius. They had a small convection heater to heat the entire restaurant. The Tom Gum soup was too sweet and the Thai Curry had a strange artificial flavour to it. We prefer Suk-a-Thai in Bells Corners over this place. We will never come here again. read more

Pho Thi Fusion is a strip mall spot, just a couple stores away from the movie theatre. This makes it a perfect and atypical spot to get your fill before hitting up the movies. It's a lot nicer on the inside than the outside. Not that the outside is bad, but you would not expect to walk into this contemporary and interesting of a space. We all ordered some pho but the options go way past that. You can get Thai, sushi, Chinese, basically anything Asian. For apps we got spring rolls and rice paper rolls. Both were quite fresh and came with great accompanying sauces. The spring rolls came perched in a martini glass- I get it, but it's a little bit trying too hard. My order was the chicken noodle soup with spicy Thai sauce, rice noodles, chicken and shrimp. I am no Pho-pro but I found the soup to be very good. It came out with your standard lime, bean sprout, and thai basil. The broth was great and had a spiciness that we could handle but would surprise at times, hitting the back of your throat. The noodles, chicken and shrimp were all perfectly tender. I appreciate the tails being taken off the shrimp! Basically don't want that to slow me down. The service was decent, a bit clumsy at times. For example, clearing the appetizers also meant taking my soup spoon- quite needed for the pho! There were a couple other snags but we still had a good meal and made it to the movie on time. Recently went back for Pho with the family. We were seated right away. Service was fast and food was steaming hot and delicious. In my previous review I pointed to high prices, but those now seem on par with others and I have no complaints. They do have a different take on pho ordering and have done away with the standard P01 to infinity and instead have just Pho and you pick of a list of available meat options. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be returning again when I'm in the area. read more

There is one thing to say about this place is that the service has always been excellent. I mean really good. The atmosphere is perfect for a business, family or those romantic dining experiences. The sushi rolls and sushimi is very tasty. I also really enjoyed the Pha Thai. I would say on average it takes about 30+ minutes from order to receiving your food. A reasonable amount of time for dinner conversation but hard to hit that movie unless you tell them ahead of time. read more

Don't let the rating fool you. It's a nice enough place but I eat Asian food often and I don't know if they are catering to the local market or not but the food doesn't have enough true Asian flavor. The decor is great, atmosphere is OK but the service from some of the staff is hit or miss. We are new to Ottawa and this was our first time at Pho Thi Fusion. We loved it. I had the Pad Thai and it was delicious. I don't have any other real experiences to compare it to but it was good. My husband had the Tom Yum and liked it. My daughter just had a avocado & cucumber maki roll and liked it. We all agreed that this place was definitely on the return list. The service was fast and friendly, the beer was very cold, and the food was delicious. The ambience was nice yet a little cold and the furniture is wearing. But we came for the food and it was really good. Pad Tai had was presented nicely and the protein I chose was plentiful. Bento box and sushi dishes were very good as well. I have been ordering for years. Always the same order - rice wraps and chow mein, spice level 3. Over the years, I have noticed changes in the quality: less veges, less meat and less peanut sauce with the wraps. If you order 2 or 3 wraps, you get the same amount of sauce. If you want more sauce for the additional wrap, they charge you extra. And they are kind of expensive for what you get. Annoying, but the food is still decent enough that I kept going back, for years now. Last night I ordered late (after 10 pm). It was a take out/pick up order and I sat down to eat after 11 pm. It was so spicy I could not eat it. I called them first thing when they opened at 11:30m and told them it was too spicy. The manager admitted that they had run out of the usual way they spice and used something else, and what could they do to make it right. I said replace the chow mein free of charge next time I order. The manager (who told me she was also the owner) said no, she would only give me an appetizer because I did not call last night. I said it was past 11 and I called first thing when they opened. She said they were open until 2 am and so I could have called last night. I said I thought they were closed at 11 pm but even if I had called last night - what's the difference? She said she had no proof I had thrown it out. So she expected me to drive back for 30 minutes from Manotick at midnight to show her the food I could not eat. WTF??? I have been a customer for years and this is how i was treated. I told her she was losing a long time customer over this, and she didn't care and wished me a good day. This is the type of business you are dealing with. I am looking for another vietnamese restaurant now that values their customers. Let's give our business to those who deserve it. read more

What a nice place! We went there early in order to get a table because it is next to a movie theatre and can get really busy with a lineup out the door. The decor was ok, nothing really special and it is a little smaller than it looks (huge mirror at the end makes it look twice as big). The menu was quite varied and the food was delicious. It is not as intensely flavoured but that is to be expected since they seem to be trying to be all things to all people. That aside the food was very good, everything was very clean and the service was prompt so I will be back again! read more

We stopped in here the other day for a bowl of pho. Now I'm no pho connoisseur but I've had many pho and this one was pretty good. The broth was well balance and full flavored. Service was good and staff friendly. The place was pretty packed at 1:30pm for lunch. It's a small place do if there's no seat, they do takeout! The menu is long and varied, from pho to curry dishes to sushi. The prices were also reasonable at $9 for pho. My only nitpick is there were too many noodles in the soup. I personally like a bit more broth but that's just me. We will return here for sure for dine in and takeout. read more

My family and I have been going here for years. The food is delicious but there has been a staff turnover and the service quality has gone down. My mom and I went in tonight and waited a solid 5 minutes without anyone coming. I got up to talk to a server and he told me that the server in charge of the section i sat in hadn't started her shift yet. Um... ok. Get me a water or say hello then. My friend and I went to this restaurant last night. My friend got a bowl of pho and she found a fly dead in her soup. The waiter refused to help her and the only thing he did was spoon it out of her soup and walk away. That is a health and safety issue. They didn't offer to replace it or comp the meal at all. She paid full price and was refused any semblance of proper customer service. We will never return to this restaurant. read more

Their website clearly states they do delivery and ask that you call the number listed on their website but when you call they don't answer until your 5th or 6th try calling and when they answered they didn't even say hello and just put the phone down. I then went to their restaurant to get takeout since they obviously can't deliver since they can't answer their phone. When I asked the girl at the counter about not answering their phones, her response was that they are too busy to answer the phone and then told me it I placed an order for pickup and I said no, how could I since that would involve her answering the phone on one of the 6 times I tried calling. I was told that if I place an order when I was standing right there in the restaurant that it would take more than an hour for my order. This was the worst experience I've ever had in any restaurant by far! I absolutely do not recommend anyone dealing with this extremely poor run business. read more

I enjoy coming here, the restaurant is located 2 doors down from the Cineplex and is a great alternative to a chain restaurant for a tasty lunch or dinner before or after the movies. The atmosphere is really nice and the food is fresh and delicious. The apps are around the $5 mark so if there is a table of two, three or four and everyone orders something different its a great way to share and sample- big fan of the rice wraps and soups- just remember the soup is a meal in itself - delicious and satisfying and you get to build it- chicken / beef/ pork etc. Most things on the menu are reasonably priced although my daughter always orders just the fried rice- also very tasty- but pricy for rice- $15 is a little steep. Overall experience everytime we have come here has been very good. I have recommeneded it to my friends and family and so far have had positive feed back. read more
