I wanted to tell you guys and I hope you upchannel this, Gage came to my house at 10672 W Adotte Ct today and he spent 30 minutes treating my house. The last couple time the guys spent 10 minutes and I had low confidence that any real pest control was accomplished. Gage was very thorough, he did some treatments I have not seen anyone in The past do. I want to say thank you to him for actually giving me confidence that I had my house treated for bugs today. Have you ever heard of a pest control company refusing to crawl in a crawl space? This one says its company policy not to. That's like a roofing company saying they don't go on roofs. Without a under house inspection how would you know if you had snakes, mice, raccoons, spiders, rats, termites or worse skunks. We saw mouse poop in our crawl space so we called Barrier. The tech opened the access panel and instead of crawling towards the center of the crawl space to place the fogger he put his hand in on the other side of the access panel which is a separate room from the main crawl space. He then placed the fogger. The problem is a fogger sprays in a 360 pattern. By not putting it in the center of the crawl space 3 sides of the fogger sprayed directly on the near walls only 1 side sprayed in the direction of the main crawl space meaning 75 percent of the fogger was meaningless. I called them to correct their mistake and they refused, sighting company policy. Don't hire Barrier! They are too scared to do a mans job. Anyone can go to Home Depot and buy a fogger for a whole lot less money. I am told that a fogger does nothing against mice. So the entire event was a waste of money and time. All of our clothing, carpet, bedding all needs to be washed because it back sprayed into the closet and into the bedroom. Nobody is happy with this service. read more

I'm not happy with this company. They were supposed to do 5 treatments in 2021. On more than one occasion they didn't show up after I took the time off work to allow them inside to only treat for spiders. When they did show up, their tech was only on-site a few minutes. I did have them come back out because of poor service and that didn't work either. I never renewed their service, however they interrupt their vague service agreement, so that they can perform their treatments when they choose fit no matter how many months it takes. That's not fair or binding. Do you want to do business with a company attitude like this? They came to my home more than 5X times in 2021, they think they can still bill me for a $150 cancellation fee for an agreement that expired last year after and having paid for all the treatments that didn't work. We'll see if the courts think they treat consumers fairly. Bottom line is I don't believe some of these reviews are real because their service is poor at best and was never punctual and I doubt I'm the only one. I should have checked them with BBB 1st!!! I'll control spiders myself rather than paying someone $89 to spend a few minutes at my home and not get the job the done. read more

Barrier has been great the past 3 1/2 years. We rarely have any issues and when we do, it's a phone call, an appt and issue resolved. No bugs in the house. Nice workers that do their job and leave. Overall, great experience for us. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. We have been dealing with mice in our house and Barrier came to our property to inspect and set some traps. The first employee came and gave us a very serious inspection saying that it is a health hazard, he set few traps and warned that it was going to be a temporary solution further advising that we contact health services. The manager later came by, telling us that she rents from the same landlords as us, and very obviously "smoothing over" the situation. She tried to say that seeing multiple mice in your house is normal and basically countering everything the employee before her said. We got a second opinion from a different pest control company and they basically supported everything the first employee stated and then some. I do not recommend this company. The management is a scam and they do not care about your safety. read more

We called Barrier for a bid after having issues with gophers last summer. The rep that came out was very knowledgeable and let us know that we were dealing with more than just gophers. We didn't end up using Barrier, but if we have issues again this year we will be using Barrier. read more
