My husband and I chose this pediatrician before my daughter was born because of its proximity to us. Having a newborn on the way, we knew convenience was key! We met with Dr. Keswick for her first appointment and we were so happy with our choice. She was informative, kind, and personable. She was able to answer all of our paranoid-new-parent questions and did so without judgement. We've visited her multiple times since and every time we've been given the same level or respect and understanding. It can be scary having a baby for the first time and having someone guide you through is invaluable. We love Dr. Keswick! Everyone at the office has been great. We've never felt uncomfortable and we've never had to wait very long. I've loved all of the hardworking nurses as well. We've also met with Dr. Mileikowsky and she was so pleasant. She was there with us on the day my daughter had to get her 2-month vaccines and was so understanding of my worry about my daughter being uncomfortable and in pain. We've received such helpful advice from here that there's no need to go into a frenzied Google-search. They're just a phone call away. I've appreciated all of their breastfeeding and general mom-care advice too. I never realized the important role a pediatrician would play in my daughter's life. My 22 year old, 20 year old went though their process of visiting with the doctors here. My 15, 8 yr old and 5 year old frequent this spot. Even though they don't provide any kind of delicious meals or drinks - they are helpful, courteous and super thorough. They really care and ask insightful questions. COMPLAINT - they seem to be very consumed with weight. I don't know what scale they are using but they don't seem to take into account height when weighing my kids. All of my kids are tall. It's rear these days to have a doctor sit down, explain everything and spend 45 min with you during your physical. Dr. Kevin Clegg at Barrington pediatrics is that kind of caring doctor. He listens and has wonderful relationships with kids he takes care of. He is the pediatrician for our three teenagers and they love him. They have been his patients since they were toddlers. My three children, now ages 18, 15, and 12, have been cared for by Barrington Pediatrics physicians since they were babies. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this practice. One of my children has serious neuropsych disorders, and a host of other physical problems. They have cared for him impeccably. My other two children have had serious illnesses, such as asthma and congenital heart defects. They, too, have received top notch care. Two have been hospitalized under the care of Barrington pediatricians. In-hospital as well as follow-up care was perfectly coordinated. This is the finest pediatric practice in the region. Calls are returned promptly, appointments can be had at a moments notice when needed. The team of physicians is highly skilled, competent, and all possess a wonderful bedside manner. The nurses, medical assistance, and admin staff are all very competent and responsive. Above all, everyone in this practice is very kind, and truly cares for their patients. Nothing is more precious than your children, so finding the right pediatrician is something to take seriously. We started going to Barrington Pediatrics with the recent birth of our newest addition and are very pleased with Dr. Keswick. She is affable, able, and available - an A plus! Dr. Keswick is warm, accessible, takes her time and explains things thoroughly. Dr. Keswick is cautious, but not obnoxiously so, and she is a mom herself, which is nice because in addition to her training and many years of practice, she speaks from personal experience. read more

Been coming to the practice for 10 years never missed an actual appointment, unfortunately had to reschedule same day annual for my 2 boys due to my other child being sick,vomiting I didn't think it would be appropriate to bring her with, now I have to pay a co pay for a missed appointment because I couldn't give 24 hour notice, which I totally get it policy but not really in my control and wish the practice was more understandable, I guess next time I should bring my sick child with me to avoid extra fee's? Although I won't because that would be rude of me unless she needed to be seen. Just frustrated but I do love most of the doctor's there. read more

I grew up attending this office and never seemed to have any problems until the physician I saw retired. However, after he left the practice the quality of care seems to have left with him. During the winter months I've experienced bronchitis being misdiagnosed as the common cold and had to seek other care for a simple inhaler. I understand antibiotics must be prescribed with caution due to antibiotic resistance but it just seems that they're resistant to listen to any complaints due to their clients' age. The breaking point came while I was waiting for a new patient appointment with a GP (seeing as I was over 18) but began experiencing severe knee pain. I made an appointment and saw a new doctor (the usual was out of office) who actually seemed to listen and ordered x-rays. While nothing showed she still prescribed physical therapy. Unfortunately this only offered minor improvement. I called back where the receptionist rudely informed me that there was nothing they could do for me and if I made an appointment the doctor would only refer me to an orthopedist. Furthermore when I asked for a specific doctor she seemed offended that I didn't want to see my usual and continued to inquire "what was wrong with her" that prevented me from wanting to book my appointment with her. Truthfully an orthopedic referral would've been fine by me but the receptionist's demeanor completely turned me off from ever returning. All in all I decided to wait the four months out for my appointment at a different office where an MRI was immediately ordered and a spinal condition was identified and referred to a specialist. I don't blame the doctor I saw for not finding this but rather the receptionist's misplaced belief that her opinion was better than someone with a medical degree. If all you need is a physical you can probably get away with an appointment here, but should anything else come up I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

My daughter has gone there for years. After being diagnosed morbidly obese due to large belly, larger at every visit she just had an extremely larger teratoma removed by Hasbro Childrens Hospital. Excruciating pain made us go to hasbro. It has been growing for a long long time. She also lost an ovary. This facility is clueless and nearly cost her life.
