There was a nice variety of vendors selling crafts, fresh foods, baked goods, and more, along with live music that gave the market a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We considered buying a loaf of bread but decided to pass this time. My son ordered a coconut drink served inside a pineapple, which was a fun experience. The ironic part is that he's mildly allergic to pineapple, so he only drank the coconut water while my husband happily ate the pineapple itself! It gave us a laugh, and I reminded my son that next time it's perfectly okay to ask if the drink can be served another way or to mention his allergy before ordering. Overall, this is a charming little market that fits the character of the town. It's a great place to wander, browse, listen to music, and enjoy the local atmosphere. I don't know how many times I would need to go here but it was a fun stop for us. It was very sunny out so make sure you wear a hat or take a walk by the water where there are trees and benches.

It got so bad that at contract renewal they were forced to accept new vendors but the quality of stands has been declining and the cost of goods is insanely high. Example $25 for a sourdough bread - I'm dead serious. Staff is very rude. A lot of locals like myself have been staying away for quite a while now. Too bad the town loses a lot of its charm because outsiders bring a bad vibe in.

Parking was easy, free, and conveniently located to all the festivities which is a huge plus. This is also one of the few local markets where I've actually seen a large selection of fresh produce and and farm goods available. It was refreshing to see so many people bring their market bags on wheels, wagons, etc. ready to purchase fresh fruits & veggies and support our local farmers. Beautiful watermelons, tomatoes, papaya, lettuces, corn, peppers, zucchini, and more. There's a good mix of vendors ranging from jewelry and handcrafted goods to food trucks and specialty food items. We got mango coladas, mango flower with tajin, breakfast tacos, and of course, kettle corn. Huge plus that there is the downtown splash pad for all the kids to play right in the middle of all the action. It was a HOT one and this was a great way for my little guy to cool off and burn some energy while we sat and enjoyed our food. If you have kids, I highly suggest they wear their swimsuits and bring some towels to dry off.

Pricing can be a little on the higher side, but I think that has a lot to do with the area. A great place for a Sunday morning stroll to pick up some local produce and things for the week to come Super casual parking can be tough at times, but if you go early enough, you can get in and out before it gets too crowded. I would say out of all the farmers markets I have been to this one seems to get the most crowded around 10 AM.

This market happens every Sunday along Lake Eola and features tons of local produce stalls as well as prepared food and drinks stalls and artisans selling their wares. Plus- they have shaded areas under trees with picnic tables for enjoying your food. It's also dog-friendly, so be prepared to enjoy the vast sizes and breeds strolling along with their owners. Overall, a great market for a fun morning. I wouldn't consider it the best market for dropping by to quickly grab produce, rather it's more of an experience to enjoy on a Sunday.

Worthy Snacks have the absolute BEST pork rind flavors. You must get the salt & vinegar and garlic Parmesan- WOW. You get a massive bag for $8 or 2 for $15. House of Jerk has some really unique jerky flavors that my husband and I love. They have a 9 for $20 deal on jerky. A new spot I tried recently was Soulful Sazon. Inside the…read morelarge building, you will find many different permanent vendors including, Crooked Can Brewery, the flagship of Plant Street, Jam Hot Chicken, Axom Coffee, Tea place, Empanada and Co., Bento Sushi, Michael's Ali Pizza, Sit Benji's Donuts, a BBQ place, a popcorn stand, mac and cheese stand, a cheese place, chocolate place, and then a butcher with food to buy and bring home. There are a ton of places! Inside and outside, there are plenty of tables and high tops to sit at. There is a lot of grassy areas outside for kids to run around as well. The best part of Plant Street is that everyone in your party can get something different but all sit together and enjoy each other's company. MY wife and I tend to do this alot. We order smaller things from a few booths and then share everything. During the weekends and then also throughout the year, Plant Street has events such as Octoberfest, pet adoption and live singers, to name a few. This usually will bring more people here and to be honest, parking can be tough. Their private parking lot is not incredibly large and also shares with a few restaurants across from them, not located inside the market. My wife and I try to go early when we visit. We want a table to sit down, even though you can easily walk around with your food. If you cannot find parking, there is a parking garage which will be a slight walk over. The parking garage is closer to where the farmer's market is. Everyone who works at the different vendors are always very nice. I believe they are Crooked Can employees, but people will walk around picking up your beer glasses for you. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. They are priced appropriate for what you get. I definitely recommend checking out Plant Street as this is one of our favorite local places to visit. ACES!

I ended up having a little cheat day and enjoyed a delicious soft serve with fresh strawberries -- it was so good! The staff members were very friendly, especially the cashier who helped me at the register. Her smile felt so genuine, and it honestly made me want to come back again. I even decided to pick up some peanut butter while I was there. The store was very clean and well organized, which made shopping comfortable and enjoyable. I live about two…read morehours away, and whenever I'm in Orlando I usually get sucked into the whole Disney Springs vibe and never make it to all the other amazing local businesses. This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler.

I initially thought Orange World was a fruit market because of the citrus stands outside; however, once inside, I realized it was also a gift shop. There was a large selection of citrus-themed souvenirs, Disney-themed souvenirs, key chains, mugs, plush toys, and so much more. I was informed by a gentleman who works there that the fresh citrus (navel oranges, tangerines, honeybells, and grapefruits) can be sold individually or in a bag at a reasonable price. Citrus fruit samples are available for tasting. There are also citrus trees available for sale as well. I was really amazed by the sweetness of the honeybell orange, which I learned was a cross between a tangerine and a white grapefruit. I ended up purchasing one of them and a tangerine. That was a very unique experience. Will definitely come back and visit again.
