Barry Doyle Design Jewellery is fabulous, unique and very Irish, and I love it, I just wish I could afford it. But it is still really nice to pop upstairs to the study, stare longingly at the exquisite silver pieces and watch the craftsmen in action. I love their Irish folklore influenced pieces but they also make contemporary pieces in silver, gold, platinum and use gemstones from all over the world. It is a lovely store and a real treat to see the pieces being made right in front of you too!

Looking at the entrance to this place you're not quite sure what to expect. The door is sealed tight to protect the goodies inside, and you have to ring to get in. At first I was like, eh, why bother, but then I saw the tv screen showing a slide-show of pretty jewelry and videos of an artisan working on a piece of silver. Next to the front door was a case filled with beautiful pieces, so I had to go in. Inside is one of the prettiest jewelry shops I've ever been in. The light wood floors below and cute disco balls above reflect the twinkling of string-lights. Along each side are glass cases filled with gorgeous handmade jewelry. I really loved the contemporary designs, though they also sell Celtic inspired pieces and engagement rings. Imagine having a handmade one of a kind engagement or wedding ring! How lovely would that be? The best part about this shop is downstairs. Here you will often find someone hard at work creating a piece of jewelry. It's really cool to watch, I imagine it would be even more awesome if you could watch a piece being made especially for your. If you're in the George's Street Arcade, don't pass this place by like I almost did, even if you're just there to look it's worth a visit.

It was so refreshing to deal with Barry and Addrianna after the impersonal service we experienced in other jewellery shops.

We received exceptional service from the ladies at Kilkenny shop…read more They have a large range of items from handmade candy, luxury crystal, wool blankets and clothing apparel. Ruth was really helpful and set the items we selected aside as we shopped to our hands free. They have change rooms for you to try clothing as needed and an attendant to help you find sizes. What was really unique and cool to see was the Irish gold jewelry pieces and to learn the history about the particular source of the gold. They sell quality products from local and Irish companies. I really enjoyed finding true Irish based products. Thank you ladies!! I was in Dublin for just 7 days and I came back to this shop twice! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

We were told by a retail worker who looked ashamed, that they did not have lifts. Only stairs. l then looked at the stairs and it looked like Mount Everest to me. My disability is 90% invisible however I know my limits and I had my wheelchair with me that day. The lovely retail worker offered us free tea or coffee for us to go. However at this point I felt dejected. All I wanted to do was get something to eat with my father. To whoever owns this store an/or the building; DO BETTER! How would you feel if you couldn't see half the shop? Grab a bite to eat and a drink? How would you feel if that was your child? We are only a few days away from 2026 and to see this type of discrimination against disabled people is shocking. I am n mincing my words. It was pure discrimination. Pure and simple.

Excellent experience both in their shop on Nassau Street (in Dublin, Ireland) and online…read more We visited them at their Dublin City Centre location last summer and were given excellent service. They patiently showed my wife many options and helped her select the necklace and earrings she wanted. They even showed me how to claim my VAT back, which saved us a pretty penny! Months later, the missus wanted a ring to complement her set, so she went online to their website and found a few options she liked, and I purchased one a few days later (some styles and sizes were not available). This was another seamless experience. Her ring arrived yesterday - it not only fits her perfectly, it is high quality and arrived in less than a week, shipped from Galway, Ireland. Thank you, Claddagh Jewellers, for all that you've done for us. We will return.

I had an unpleasant and covertly rude experience at this location in November 2022. It was my last…read moreday in Ireland, and I wanted to buy Claddagh rings for my family, so I came alone to Claddagh Jewelers due to their legacy and reputation. My issue was not with the jewelry itself but with the two young female attendants that I asked for assistance. I was very obviously American and a tourist since I told them I was from California. I told them I was looking for 14k jewelry pieces, but they told me that they only carried up to 10k. They then proceeded to speak to each other in front of me that I "must be looking for gaudy jewelry." I can say for a fact that nothing I was wearing was showy, bright, or tacky, so I deduced that I was instantly being pigeonholed into the "American tourist" stereotype. I left and went to R&C McCormack instead, where the customer service and jewelry were much better.
