Bummer! So I wasn't happy about this process and my sense of trust took a hit. I mention this because, this is the attitude and worry I carried with me to my experience here. And oh how nice it is to be proven wrong. Scheduling an appointment online was easy (though I had incorrectly selected the service required for my car). This place was super friendly and professional. They set expectations well, explained the tint laws, and successfully, cleanly (except for a wee bit of sticky stuff here and there), removed the tint from my windows. I was dreading going back to the brake tag place, so the technician here took extra care to do another reading on my back window so that I could take a photo with me when I went back to the Brake Tag place. Look, I was kind of a pain-in-the-butt client, and they were totally kind to me. I felt good about my experience there. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose them again.

They took my truck right when I got there and explained the different types of tint available. There are a lot of options and he explained them all and let me decide what I wanted. I was out the door in 35 minutes. The tint work is flawless and super fast!! I'm going to go back and get my giant sunroof tinted! They use llumar tint , which is widely considered to be the best stuff out there. They also offer tinting on your windows at your home or business. I'm renovating my house and I am having them come tint my windows that face West. The heat reflection offered by their premium level of tint is truly impressive. They're right there across Vets. from Lakeside mall. They have a really nice showroom for you to wait in. They offer complementary beverages. Pretty nice beverages. You should enjoy the waiting area, you won't be there long!!! The owners of the business are on site and that's nice!! I highly recommend this shop for your window tinting needs.

Even more important than the competitive price was that I had no trouble contacting someone at the office and they always called back promptly. I could tell from the start that their customer service would be great. The windows were tinted and the shower door was installed earlier than the timeframe that was originally quoted, which was great. After couple of days after the shower was installed we found a small problem. We called Lita at Custom Accents and her and the owner were there the next morning. Less than a week later, a new shower door was installed with no trouble. The customer service was on point throughout the whole process and our shower door is beautiful. Not into giving bad reviews, but now that the weather's getting hot again I really wish Paul Porch…read more (owner, tech, etc) had given better service. The tint I got is way lighter than what he replaced, and working out the details with him was such a pain that arguing over the work he did isn't worth it. His office gal (Stephanie, I think) was real nice so she gets the star, but that doesn't really help me now. Here's the break down if you're interested: Dropped the car off an got a quote of $325 to remove tint & re-tint all the windows. The front windows had to be a bit lighter to pass inspection but the rear windows & hatch glass could be as dark as they were, about as dark as they get (not sure the %). Paul, who I never met, calls & says it's an extra $25 because he'd have to prop up the hatch, since the gas shocks were busted. No prob, I pick up the car and go buy & install new shocks & drop it off next day. Then he calls and says the old tint is de-laminated so he'll have to scrape it off which will add $25 to the job & will probably take off the rear defroster. No prob, go ahead with the work. On both of these calls his attitude really sucked. Never did he ask if I wanted the same shade of tint as before, nothing like that. Maybe Stephanie didn't tell him that I wanted the same tint on the rear of the car, but good service includes attention to detail. So I pick up the car and am dismayed to find that the tint is not right, but then it occurs to me, this is just a pain in the ass to Paul. Two shades of tint on the same car? Dream on! If you have some high-end luxury/sports car he'll probably kiss your ass, but don't bring in your modest economy car & have him be pleased to take your money, even if you pay in cash. [I priced out this place & a place called GT Tint in Mandeville. They use a 3M film whereas Pro-tek uses Sun Gard (I think). Prices were comparable & both films have similar warranties. I used Pro-tek b/c they are close to my house & work, but would not again]

After I ordered the windshield I had some issues with my vehicle where I wasn't able to get the windshield installed for months after the fact. Custom held my windshield and then when I needed it installed in Orleans Parish instead they offered the service with minimal fee. Once I scheduled my install The installer alerted me by call and text with accurate ETA so I wouldn't have to wait around and when he arrived he was very professional and finished quickly.
