I just came home from an incredible experience at S&N! I…read morehave a Sea Doo Fish Pro that is only two months old. It developed a problem with the waterproof phone storage compartment. It broke and would not close or open. Keep in mind that I did not buy this boat there because they did not have any at the time that I wanted one and they were pretty hard to get a few months ago. So I called them last Tuesday (Oct 12th 2021) and they told me no problem bring it in next Tuesday and they will get it fixed including parts if need and back to me by Friday. I was thrilled about such a short turn around time given the way things, service, and parts have been going lately. Well here is what happened today Oct 19th. I arrived and they knew I was coming from the appointed I had made. They told me to pull it into the yard. This where things went fantastically! I pulled in and met up with Sean (not sure how he spells it). Sean asked what was going on so I explained it to him. He came over to look at it and said to me "Oh yeah I know what this is". Immediately after looking at he instantly knew what was wrong!! He told me that it is missing a washer under the screw and that the factory used the wrong screw!!! He told me he would fix it for me right now!! He went to get a few tools and I'm serious, had my boat fixed in less that 10 minutes!! He said ok its all good you can take it. I was shocked. I expected it to be down for days. I ran into Steve I think his name is, who is the owner. I raved, rightfully so, about what Sean just did for me. When I asked if I need to do anything or show paper work or anything they said "no, it's all good you can take it" Look I know no place is perfect. Some places drop the ball now and then. But I will tell you one thing, I will never take my jet ski anywhere else for any service that it might need. These guys were fantastic! This is the way to handle a customer or to make more customers. Thank you so much guys for getting me fixed up so fast and for having a mechanic like Sean working for you. He is fantastic! I'll be seeing you for my 50 hour routine maintenance when it is due. Thanks to Steve too!

So Wayne gave me a couple solutions that were more feasible ... including an old Toro lawn mower in the shop with same engine. I could swap them out! Wayne was very helpful and knowledgeable and didn't over charge me for his services. Will definitely keep him in mind for future services.

These guys do some pretty high end cars . BMWs , Benz And a Lamborghini or was it a Ferrari ,i n the lot . That's a good sign that people are trusting them with high dollar vehicles . I was getting a brake job done a a mini cooper . Pretty simple and straight forward . I've been around cars awhile usually do my own brake jobs but I'm away from home . Went to another place up on mcgreggor and that guy gave me some ridiculously quote , when I asked why he is replacing rotors he said "we always replace the rotors when we change pads , it's a liability issue ". Well that's a bunch of bs . Usually you should get 2 pad replacements out of a set of rotors before needing replacement ( unless you're really really hard on your brakes ) . . some places will push new rotors to get higher invoice . Anyway no mention of rotor replacement here at ranger , although I am sure that if when they examined the rotors i and really needed replacement they would have called and told me that .
