I was so very pleased with my first experience, I had to revisit again…read more Volvo says you don't need to do a transmission fluid change til 100K miles, but I've put 75K on this car, towed a boat across country and driven it almost 24 hours nonstop on a few occasions. I thought I felt a slow shift point once or twice in the last few months so I decided it was time. I was right. Artem saved and showed me how dark brown the normally pink trans fluid had become. Yuck! The Naples Volvo dealership wanted DOUBLE what Artem charges and I can guarantee you, it couldn't have been done any better. I noticed a discernable improvement on the drive home tonight from his shop and I'm sure my gas mileage will improve going forward as a result, too. And it's not just Volvo's Artem works on.....seems like nearly every foreign car is in his shop or his parking lot. So happy to have found an honest and reliable car mechanic here in Naples. My first time taking my car here and I was impressed. I had taken my 325ci to my regular place for…read moresome minor bodywork and asked them to do an oil change while it was there, which they confirmed was done on pickup. When I returned home I pulled the dipstick and the oil was obviously not fresh. I called to point out the mistake, but they doubled down and the mechanic confirmed it was done. So I found Naples Mechanics and took it there and they confirmed I was correct. While the car was on the lift, the owner also pointed out that the central arm bushings were shot and that the rear shocks were leaking. I had been taking my car to the previous place for the past 5 years, so they had plenty of opportunities to identify these issues (I only do very low mileage each season), so I opted to have the work done by Naples Mechanics and was very pleased with the work done.

I was worried it would get worse over time, especially at highway speeds. Jaime got me in right away, and within just a couple of hours, my car was fixed at a very reasonable price. I couldn't be happier with the results. On top of the repair, Jaime went above and beyond. He helped me find the correct part number for my broken side mirror, cleared a warning for my expired tire mobility kit, and even recommended better-performing tires for the car. So after the oil change I drove to the main location on Domestic to have the tire repaired. I was told that I would have to wait about an hour for them to get to it for repair. I had no problem since I drove in without an appointment. As I was sitting in the waiting room, I noticed how nice and professional they handled their customers. Well after about an hour the nice lady working the front called my name and apologized for me having to wait an hour. That the tech working on my tire could not find a leak !!-- that the whole problem was found when he put the valve stem cap back on and that is when he heard air coming out !! I had a bad valve stem cap !!! She apologized again and said "no charge" !!! I gave her some "cross Pennie's" I made for her young family. She just had another baby girl about a year ago. An amazing young man called us right back and figured out our situation. He came as quickly as he could which was not easy as there are very few turn arounds on AA. With the help of the Road Ranger ( who was also incredibly helpful), he took the tire off, switched tires for us to safety drive to the tire shop where he finished the job. After dropping the car off, with a request to fix the power steering, they called with a reasonable price. The power steering works great now, they do good work and don't take a week to get it done. Customer service is good and they are located right off Tamiami Trail, so the location is easy to get to. This is a good place to drop off your car for repairs.
