I would give 10 gold stars for Bob if Yelp had that option! I spent the better half of a year or so trying to find a decent photographer to get some professional headshots done. Everyplace that had a good portfolio had ridiculous prices and even then seemed too cookie cutter. Luckily I asked a Facebook friend about some recent headshots they posted online and discovered Bob Bartholomew. If you're looking for a standard backdrop of a fake bookcase or cheesy background color you had in yearbooks, then steer clear of Bob. I'm sort of an introvert and thus deplore having the focus on me, especially in photo shoots (self inflicted- I know I'm choosing to have a photoshoot done). He's very inviting and makes you feel comfortable both before the shoot and during. Bob will talk through your "goals" so he knows what sort of message you're hoping to send. The worst part about the entire thing was sitting through some of his jokes, but they totally did the job to make you less painfully posed. He also gives a disclaimer that his jokes are cheesy and this is my attempt at one as well. Regardless, I highly recommend Bob to anyone looking for any sort of photography. He's professional, down to earth, and good at capturing your personality in the photograph. I had wonderful sessions with Bob! He builds a good rapport with you and is quite funny, helping to reveal the most genuine version of you! The studio is small but comfortable in his home. He's patient, and really strives to capture, not only a good photo, but moments. He took a fantastic portrait of me in which I titled "What lies behind those eyes".
