I been using Bartlett Tree Exoerts for number years now in maintaining our 64 Green Giant evergreen trees yes there's a Greek long name for them but not now. I cannot say tgat my total experience was great but for most part it is. Trees are suppose to be deer resistant but as we know in nature if your hungry you'll eat just about anything instead of starving. first few years of fertilizing and spraying winter deer protective spray we where good by winters end. Then for some reason I didn't hear from my arborist the following year on going out checking trees for service I called him no reply called office he's no longer with us ok send me an arborist please. Mario Vasquez was assigned great relationship on ball but my trees when Mario went to look the deer had eaten one side from base up few ft. ++. I asked why sad trees only had been sprayed on one side how can that be I paid for complete tree spraying? other arborist notes stated only spray on my dude property after I had advised her our property is 15-20 feet beyond base of trees. Well it's my fault for not reading the instructions she wrote in contract my being to trust worthy I guess never again. when heard this had neighbor take pictures I was really annoyed at what I saw, I wrote called my arborist and the office regarding my disbelieve in service of not spraying both sides of trees and deer damage. Reply was we cannot go on others property to spray without permission well it wasn't really on anyone else's property but ours Bartlett had to walk on on both sides of trees. so moral of story office staff administrative end took care of this and we gave now had trees reseated and fertilized on both sides thanks to Mario and David. Moral of story, if trees need spraying both sides and you border on someone else's property make sure you are getting a full spray not half a tree sprayed for any type of protection not just from deer destruction. Bartlett has always been responsible as have the staff in doing the right thing to satisfy tge customer I can personally say this. read more

The team that came and the arborist who came over to discuss what to do were extremely professional. I've had many other tree services here and this was the only arborist who came and really knew what he was talking about. The day went so smoothly they cleaned up everything I am completely satisfied and will use them again. read more

No estimate, no property review that I had requested , no explanation on why they ignored my calls and emails. Just bad customer service. Please refer to the other reviews. Great place! Head on in! Very friendly people and they are very helpful and informative. It's a great place to learn more as well. I had no clue until they helped me since I am new to the area. I would recommend this to anyone also new to the area as well. They maintain a healthy knowledge of how to keep things looking good! As the new year begins, we would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Bartlett Tree Experts and, in particular, Patricia Piotrowski, for their assistance with the deer problem we experienced on our property in Greenport, NY. In 2015, we put in several privacy plantings only to watch the deer feed on them each night. We called Bartlett and were referred to Patricia. From her first visit, Patricia understood our frustration. When she came to look at our property (which was within days of our call), she immediately put us at ease. Honestly, we do not think she could have cared any more if it were her own home and property. She is a true professional, very knowledgeable and so easy to work with. I had scheduled an appointment to have a bartlett representative come give me an estimate on tree pruning at my sag harbor residence in the hamptons. I had originally called there Southampton office, and the staff who answered my call seemed very nice. The woman who arrived was named patricia piotrowski. After she looked at the work that I requested a price on, she gave me a cost that seemed unusually high based on my other estimates. When I told her it seemed like a extremely high estimate, she stated that her company does charge top dollar. But what threw me off was that she kept offering a far less price if i was to pay her cash directly, and use one of her "sub contractors" to perform the work? It was almost like she was purposely excluding Bartlett for her own side business and her own benefit. When I asked her about insurance and details of the subcontractor she kept dodging the question. I immediately just backed off and pursued another company. This woman is definitely running a shady personal operation, so be careful. read more
