I did not have to chase them as to when they would be showing up as I have with other contractors. His estimate was very detailed and was easy to understand with breakdown and description. His 3D rendering was extremely impressive and really was representative of what he was able to create. Dan was present every single day to get the men set up and to do a check-in with me to make sure I was happy with the process from start to finish. Each day the crew left my property neat, never leaving garbage behind, and were very mindful to never leave my gates open due to me having 2 dogs. As for the work... I was unsure what I wanted exactly but knew I didn't want a cookie cutter yard like most of Long Island. Dan and Devin both worked with me to pick out the perfect colors and showed me how to best utilize the space I have. With landscaping, they were able to give me more privacy and brighten up my entire yard with beautiful perennials. The hot tub area they created with an outdoor television and pergola will definitely be used all year round. The outdoor BBQ and bar area will be the highlight of my outdoor parties! My favorite touch though was the beautiful pool and surrounding stone with an automatic pool cover which means I don't have to worry about my pups accidentally falling in when I'm not outside with them. Based on Yelp reviews we then called Devin from Flawless Masonry & Landscape who told us a circular driveway was absolutely doable! We were so impressed with Devin's design skills (including clear scaled digitized plans) and experience that we hired him on the spot. Plus Flawless's pricing was lower than other quotes we got. Icing on the cake. Then the pandemic hit so the job was delayed (NY orders), but Flawless came through after re-opening and did a superb job for us. The new driveway is both beautiful and functional, even our crabby neighbors like it! It was a big job but Flawless's skilled and friendly crew managed to finish in a week. Tiffany from the office was super responsive and polite throughout the project, keeping me in the loop at all times. Thank you Flawless for your integrity, talent and hard work!

At the time of installation, we asked about sandblasting and the application of wire lathing. Mr. Kozlowski said that this was unnecessary, that he had done this several times before, and that scoring the wall was all that was needed. Against our better instincts, we trusted his judgment. Mr. Kozlowski gave us a 10 year warranty on materials and labor. After 3 years, there was erosion of the concrete and some decay. We contacted Mr. Kozlowski and, after looking at the wall, he took no responsibility, and made no effort toward correcting the problem or honoring his warranty. Instead, he indicated that this was an act of God, following a particularly bad winter." At that time, letters were submitted to the Dept. of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. As a condo community in Eastern Suffolk County, we do not qualify for small claims court and our only recourse is to litigate. It is now 9 years later and this wall is beyond repair. Three other licensed mason contractors have checked the wall and have agreed on the following: 1) the wall should have been sand blasted, 2) wire lathing should have been applied, and 3) an epoxy adhesive should have been used to protect against any water freeze and thaw. Mr. Kozlowski failed to implement any of these precautions. Euroway's website quotes "nothing less than exceptional masonry services." We use superior quality materials to ensure that your project lasts long." "Trust in our stellar European craftsmanship, competent and experienced professionals to get the job done right for you." Price: Very fair The original call was answered promptly with a promise to send someone over for an estimate in 90 min. I received a call a bit later requesting permission to come a bit earlier - so courteous. We discussed what we wanted done and showed him the side fence which 2 other companies said we would need to remove. Glad we didn't. They never called or came back. LI Paving's Tom, told us they pave up to it on each side of the fence and tamp together. Tom told us how everything would go and we said anytime was good. He handed us a contract with all that was discussed fully written out and we each signed. NO PAYMENT REQUIRED UNTIL WORK DONE AND SATISFIED!! The following week, he called to ask if they could do it. Sure. They showed up Wed and dug everything up. The workers and family members work like clockwork. The belgian blocks went down beautifully. My neighbor came out to talk to Tom and immediately approved them doing hers also. They dug hers up next. The trucks were busy. The workers were busy and everyone knew their job so well. It was like watching an orchestra play. Tom and his son, Tom, worked the roller/pounder and the payloader. His son never thumped on the ground. It was so impressive. By the next evening, everything was beautifully done. We had a question the day after and he and a worker came and cut a bit off to extend our garden area. He and his sons have talent and a work ethic that can't be beat. Day 2 they were all outside at 6:30 am to clean the blocks and do whatever they were doing while I was sleeping, lol. At 8:00, the roller/pounder got going. I had done quite a bit of research after we spoke to the first 2 companies that we weren't comfortable with. Tom explained that it's all about having the right equipment, not leaving your driveway exposed for 2 weeks while you drive over the same spots. The entire driveway has to be graded and pounded equally. All my research bears that out. I almost wish I had more driveways for them to do :-))

The job was slightly delayed due to the weather but John constantly reached out to let us know what was going on and he started the job as soon as he was able. At each phase of the project he communicated what he was doing. At one phase he ran into roots from an old Oak tree but his guys were able to remove them and didn't charge us for the additional work that was required. After getting proposals from 5 contractors, we decided to go with LIMC for the project. Tommy and his son came by twice to ensure the measurements are correct and their proposal is one of the most competitive in terms of pricing. I wanted to have a concrete base for the pavers because my previous patio was set on regular gravel base and had settled unevenly after just two years. The whole project took about two weeks from start to finish. Tommy's crew worked efficiently without cutting any corners. You can definitely tell that they are experienced with concrete and masonry. We decided to go with the Cambridge Toffee Onyx ledgestone pavers with Mocha Border. For the driveway, we went with graphite colored concrete with pavers circle and apron. The result was spectacular. I have gotten so many compliments from neighbors on my driveway. The blue stone stoops were excellent as well.
