When I showed up to my appointment less than 24hrs later they informed me I was responsible to pay for both appointments. Then sent me a release of treatment letter! Terrible mental health care. Okay, so here's the scoop. Comp Medpsych Systems is a corporation that bought out my psychiatrist…read moreof 12 years, so now I have to go through them to continue to see him. HE is FANTASTIC! I'm not gonna put his name here, because, well, I'm not a fan at all of the corporation. I am giving this company three stars ONLY because I still see my psychiatrist of 12 years. Comprehensive MedPsych Systems has BIG issues for me. One, they insist on keeping your credit card on file, which they insist on having so they can charge at will. WITHOUT my permission, which to me and anyone else I have talked to is UNHEARD of. They charged me $160 in co-pays this year, even after my insurance company told them that psych visits were zero co-pays because of COVID-19. Three times! Then I had to go through months of waiting for a refund. I finally got a refund after fighting for months and I found ONE, ONE person in their company who cared enough about me to get it done. Thank God for her, she's an angel. No one else cared at all. Well, my doctor cared and his ex-office manager cared, but they don't have a say in what happens anymore, because the corporation controls everything. The second thing is that they couldn't give me a straight answer for the longest time as to whether or not I was really in-network with my insurance company and thus they were charging me a co-pay even when I didn't owe them one (see below). So.... this company is a billing nightmare, and they want their money up-front, no if's, and's or but's.... They are unlike any other doctor's office I have ever worked with. Their on-line computer systems are clunky, no one can give you a straight answer. Only by some miracle from God did I find that one person in their insurance department who cares enough about a poor old lady to do the right thing and fight for me and my insurance claims and to get me my refund so I could pay my credit card bill. So if you do have to use this Psychiatric company, the psychiatrist who used to own this practice is awesome, and some of his therapists I guess are still there and they would be awesome, but beware the new staff and mostly the corporation, that's all I'm saying....... I cringe just thinking about what is in store for me next year, because what if the corporation decides not to renew their contract with my insurance company, who knows......

In that time I was told that despite an effective 30 year diagnosis I no longer had bipolar disorder and in fact they also couldn't adhere or help with my other disabilities (autism adhd ocd and odd) cause they weren't qualified. Dr Newez is by far one of the worst psychiatrists I have ever seen in my life. It shouldn't be this hard to find help with autism and bipolar disorder. Absolute Dumpster fire avoid at all costs

I have a few doctors as part of the outpatient services here. I'm not reviewing the doctors but…read morejust the facility. I like the fact that there is sufficient parking and that it's not overly crowded when coming and going in the buildings that I visit. Quiet to me shows order and privacy for patients. Nothing special but I like elevators that work quickly and I'm glad these do. Hospitals are known for slow elevators.
