Okay, so here's the scoop. Comp Medpsych Systems is a corporation that bought out my psychiatrist of 12 years, so now I have to go through them to continue to see him. HE is FANTASTIC! I'm not gonna put his name here, because, well, I'm not a fan at all of the corporation. I am giving this company three stars ONLY because I still see my psychiatrist of 12 years. Comprehensive MedPsych Systems has BIG issues for me. One, they insist on keeping your credit card on file, which they insist on having so they can charge at will. WITHOUT my permission, which to me and anyone else I have talked to is UNHEARD of. They charged me $160 in co-pays this year, even after my insurance company told them that psych visits were zero co-pays because of COVID-19. Three times! Then I had to go through months of waiting for a refund. I finally got a refund after fighting for months and I found ONE, ONE person in their company who cared enough about me to get it done. Thank God for her, she's an angel. No one else cared at all. Well, my doctor cared and his ex-office manager cared, but they don't have a say in what happens anymore, because the corporation controls everything. The second thing is that they couldn't give me a straight answer for the longest time as to whether or not I was really in-network with my insurance company and thus they were charging me a co-pay even when I didn't owe them one (see below). So.... this company is a billing nightmare, and they want their money up-front, no if's, and's or but's.... They are unlike any other doctor's office I have ever worked with. Their on-line computer systems are clunky, no one can give you a straight answer. Only by some miracle from God did I find that one person in their insurance department who cares enough about a poor old lady to do the right thing and fight for me and my insurance claims and to get me my refund so I could pay my credit card bill. So if you do have to use this Psychiatric company, the psychiatrist who used to own this practice is awesome, and some of his therapists I guess are still there and they would be awesome, but beware the new staff and mostly the corporation, that's all I'm saying....... I cringe just thinking about what is in store for me next year, because what if the corporation decides not to renew their contract with my insurance company, who knows...... read more

Easily one of the worst experiences I ever had in my 30 years of disability. Spent 35 minutes in an appointment explaining my disabilities and what I needed. In that time I was told that despite an effective 30 year diagnosis I no longer had bipolar disorder and in fact they also couldn't adhere or help with my other disabilities (autism adhd ocd and odd) cause they weren't qualified. Dr Newez is by far one of the worst psychiatrists I have ever seen in my life. It shouldn't be this hard to find help with autism and bipolar disorder. Reconsidering my therapy choices! Apparently if you are ill and need to cancel, unless you reschedule that same week, you will pay a cancellation fee! How many of us know 48 hours in advance if we are going to be sick!? And how many of us want to be further pinned down to a time that may not work (under the threat of another cancellation fee)!! I mean this is ridiculous. Talk about preying on the more vulnerable population. There are better therapists out there where money is not the bottom line! read more

RUN!!! This company and the psychiatrist I was given are an actual dumpster fire. Dr. Nogueras-Rosado is rude, judgmental, and clueless. She made assumptions about me and the care I'd received previously. There was no effort to adjust my medication when it was clearly no longer effective and yet she accused me of being unable to focus...then immediately wanted to take me off of my ADHD medication. She will not review the mandatory questionnaires that you fill out regarding your mental state unless you call her out on it. The company in general is also beyond frustrating. Patient services does not seem to understand how their billing is done. I have never had a more disastrous experience with this company. My husband went for a neuro-psych evaluation in November 2021. The final part of the intake was for the clinician to have a consult with me, which never took place. Arranged for a zoom meeting at the end of November. Clinician was a no-show. I called immediately to see if I had the time or date wrong; no response. Over the next several weeks, no less than 6 calls were made to the office...voicemail only. You can't get a real person. No return call. Never got the final report, which is crucial for legal reasons. I then asked my husband's neurologist to call on our behalf. He never got a response from them, either. How does a medical office operate like this?! I finally called Medicare to deny the claim since services were not provided. I will fight this to the end if I don't get any satisfaction from this office. The un-professionalism and outright rudeness by not returning my calls is appalling. read more

I recently moved to this area and needed to establish a relationship with a physician to get my medication. It took my 4 weeks to get the appointment. When I showed up to the office 10 min early in World Golf Village, the front office staff were friendly. My appointment was scheduled for 4pm. I waited until 4:20 and asked the receptionist to confirm my appointment was at 4. She did and she said he was running behind. I waited and was finally called in at 4:40. Needless to say I was a bit frustrated. I proceeded to let him know that if he was going to be running late would his front office staff be able to call and let me know so I would not show up early. He then decided to escort me out of the office and not see me. What kind of psychiatrist does this? If you can't express your frustration to one Wow! I have been going to psychiatrists for medication management for 25 years and never have I ever been treated like that. I guess he thinks he is better than everyone else because he has MD? I don't recommend this place/person. read more
