Entrance is a little pricey at around $20 per person which does not include most games. It does include the hay rides (both adult and kids), some carnival games like basketball, and corn maze. Parking is free and plenty of room. Food - eh; they pretty much only have pizza or chicken nuggets at different stations. Pretty basic, not much to speak to on that. Both are about $10. I was a bit disappointed on the choices. Esp for fall it would have been great to have pumpkin pie, apple cider, sweet potato, etc like fall items. That would have been cool. Drinks - generous pour for iced tea. I had the frozen sangria snd it was really good snd not too sweet! I did get some brain freezes (yup more than once). My faves- the farm animals, apple cannon ($) but worth it, hayride, corn maze was fun! When you think about everything that is included it seems worth the price. The white pumpkins were kinda pricey since they are special at $12. They have a gorgeous field of flowers that you can pick and cut your own flowers. Lots of photo op moments. Drove 45 minutes to pick out a pumpkin for my 5 y/o son. He was so excited to experience this place. What we didn't know before hand - they were "sold out" although dozens of people were leaving when we arrived. After our 45 minute drive, of course my 5 yr old had to pee. "Security" (a grown man that was obviously bullied in HS & has nothing better to do w his life) told us that we could not enter. After literally begging this guy to use the restroom, he felt the need to escort a FAMILY to the PORT O POTTY , CALLED IN BACKUP, loudly pointed out each member of my family to "backup" in front of everyone like we were some kind of criminal and was so completely rude to us. We asked if we could pick out a pumpkin to PURCHASE & he would not let us. His reasoning "because the owners put ME in charge" . I wonder if the owners are aware how this power hungry goblin treats PAYING PATREONS. We will NEVER return to this place & I will make sure that all of my friends/family are aware of how awful we were treated here. We have been trying to go all season but the rains have messed up plans left and right! However this day was beautiful and we were finally able to make it! There were a couple new additions and a few things gone as well. No food trucks... not this year.. just the big pavilion areas where you by Barton's food. This caused huge lines that moved at a pace that turtles would be proud of... even envious! I spent an hour or more in line just to get drinks! I can't tell you how many people left the line as I was waiting because it just wouldn't move! Barton's your loosing money! Open up the other buildings, that you had closed and make them drinks only. That will clear up s lot of the congestion and help to move these lines! Just for the reason of terrible lines I would be tempted to try somewhere else next year. Sitting in the sun and just waiting and waiting and waiting while I slowly roasted is not anyone's I Lora of fun! They added an awesome tree house, another train ride, a field of zinnias, a field of sunflowers, a hay ride, and beautiful mums for purchase. As it was last year... it was great fun! Pay the one fee to get in and enjoy everything to do inside at no charge! The only money you'll pay once inside is for the food and drink. (And you'll also pay with your time!) This place is an amazing place to go for yearly pumpkin pictures. I can't recommend them enough. The entire farm isn't just a pumpkin patch, there's so many things to do, it seems like one big carnival. It's super family friendly and I think how big the farm is and the open space makes me (someone who is very COVID-conscious) feel much better. There were animals, a corn maize, food, slides, apple shooting, pumpkins, and so much more. Such a fun family friendly place. Masks are required, there are various hand washing stations throughout the place. I will definitely be back! read more

So much fun! Visited here to start off Easter weekend. Good Friday and great weather. This place has a little something for the whole family. More to do for younger (under 12) but has some conveniences for parents too. Slides, games, food, animals, drinks (frozen lemonade and sangria were delish) and tractor ride. It was my wife and I's first time checking out Barton Hills Farm during their Fall festivities. We've never been to a legitimate pumpkin patch before so we didn't really know what we were expecting. The area was nice, green and spacious for the hundreds of people that were there. We didn't feel a part of a crowd anywhere thankfully (if you're being COVID cautious). There are plenty of photo opportunities all over the area! Be sure to reserve your tickets beforehand as there were many unaware people being turned away at the entrance because there weren't any reservations left. If you have smaller children there are plenty of activities for them to keep busy and enjoy. We're really glad we came out and will definitely come back again! read more

I finally agreed to take my daughter here after her dad had taken her several times in previous years. Part of my apprehension toward going was that I have a service dog, and I don't like the idea of him being around other dogs that are not well behaved. And, let's face it: most dogs in public are not trained well. So, we arrive, and we get to check in. Frank, my service dog, has his vest on and the staff are very welcoming. They had us "register" at the front, where I wrote down emergency contact information in case my dog was spooked and ran off. I couldn't fathom that happening, as I've poured a lot of money into Frank and his training, but it was a good idea. When we got inside, several staff members came over to verify he was a service dog by asking. Honestly, I liked being asked because I prefer a safe environment for my family and service dog. Overall, it's very friendly for people who may have anxiety- there are plenty of wide open spaces and spots to sit and take a break. We were there from 10 am to 2 pm and when we all left we were tired. My 9 year old daughter also had a blast. read more

I went to Barton Hill Farms in the afternoon on the last weekend of September. This place is definitely family/kid oriented. To me, this would only be worth the drive from Austin if you were taking children or reeeeaaallllyy wanted to do a corn maze. If you're just looking for cute fall pictures to update your instagram, go to your local church pumpkin patch. If you're using the picture to update your tinder, I would suggest the display at Central Market, lest you be smited for stepping your sinful foot on Church property. They have a great pumpkin patch display, corn maze, and wildflower field (10/10 for quality of instagram pictures, but was it worth the drive? tbd). There are tons of kid-oriented activities around the farm and lines were non-existent since we went at a non-peak time. I'd imagine that things can get a bit ridiculous around Halloween. The entry fee is slightly excessive, but probably worth it if you bring kids and participate in all of the activities. There are plenty of shaded seating areas and different places to buy drinks and food (no outside food and beverages allowed). One positive of this farm over the Sweet Berry farm is that they take card (Sweet Berry only takes cash). If you're looking for a family-friendly weekend activity, this place is for you! read more

Beautiful! I went for Brews & Blooms. Plenty of food, drinks, etc. though I can't speak to those since I was there too early to want any of the items. Would be a great place to take children. They have a massive play area & fields you can pay $7 to pick yourself a dozen flowers. Just a heads up -- if you pick Sunflowers, they are severely infested with bugs. I soaked & treated them yesterday morning with spray & woke up today to a plethora of bugs still on them. I took my family here today, 4 adults and 3 kids, and while we did have fun at some parts of the farm, I left feeling ripped off and taken advantage of. I posted comments about my dissatisfaction to their Facebook page, and they deleted them. First of all, I feel the pricing structure is manipulative and intentionally designed to gauge the customer. We paid $68 for 3 kids and 4 adults to get in, which covered walking through the maze, playing in the sandbox, and a few other things like playing with hula hoops (if your kids are into that-mine aren't). While the maze was cool and well done, I do not feel it was worth the money. If we would have paid an additional $5 each for the kids, they could have done things like a cow barrel train, jumping pillow, trike track...and of course all of these things were placed front and center so that we had to keep telling the kids every few minutes, ""no, sorry, that costs extra." I spent $68 for my family to get into a farm in the middle of nowhere with no running water and port-a-pots, yet I still feel like a cheap-ass. Second of all, they need to bring in some more drinkable water. Right now, there is no place to fill up a water bottle. They do have a handy (for them) policy where if you buy their $10 branded reusable water bottle, they will fill it up for you for free. This is what I mean by feeling manipulated and ripped off. I was thirsty, had just gone through their corn maze on a hot sunny day with my 3 kids (ages 4,4, and 6), who were all complaining of thirst...I had already spent $2 on a bottle of water at their food truck an hour or so earlier, so I asked if they could fill it up. They refused. There was a container of cold, drinkable water staring me and my kids in the face and the staff refused to give it to us. There is no where else to fill up a water bottle. They don't even have a place to wash your hands- just some hand sanitizer (which, granted, you are on a farm out in the country and you're peeing in port-a-pots but still...I've seen other places that have water stations set up outside port-a-pots. It's not unlimited water, but it's SOMEthing). To top it off, like I said earlier, I made a post and comment on their Facebook page about the lack of water, and a few hours later, the staff deleted my post and comment. It looks like they did reply before changing their minds and deciding to delete it, though, because I got a copy of their reply in my email, which I'll share here: ""Hi Laura - I'm so sorry...we've never had a complaint about it before. We don't have city/county water. All that we have at the farm is well water for irrigation & watering livestock which most people don't want to drink." The thing is...they do have the water. They truck some drinkable water in. But you only get it if you pay an EXTRA $10 on top of the already-too-high admission prices. Needless to say, unless they decide to reply to me again with some type of reasonable answer, I will not be back again, and I will be telling all who will listen about my experience today. read more

Look, I didn't expect to walk into Bourbon Street sort of fun, but for a ten dollar admission price, I expected more than a half-hour jog through a corn maize (yep, still spelling it that way). Once I was done with that, I sat down, drank my $4 Independence beer and wondered why the hell I was still there. Pumpkin patch? There wasn't one. Maybe some face painting would've been nice, or a petting zoo, or pumpkin carving, but no. There was nothing else for an adult to do. So for ten bucks and a half tank of gas, I got a short tour of their corn maize, and then sat on a hay bale. That's it. That's all I did. I thought all of this last year, but it didn't seem to make it into my original review. And now I fully realize why. The only reason they got four stars from me last year is because I got drunk right before I wrote my review. And I paid less to do so. read more

I was definitely impressed with Barton Hills Farms. There was more to it than just a pumpkin patch and we spent a good couple of hours there. I was really impressed with the corn maze - each year they do a different design, and this year, it was SpaceX themed. The maze was in the shape of a rocketship and along the way, there were stops where you would answer trivia questions about SpaceX, and depending on your answer, it would tell you which way to go. I thought this was a great way to get the adults involved. Other than the pumpkins and corn maze, they had food and drinks, archery, cornhole, farm animals, a bounce area, playgrounds and slides, a hayride, archery, an area to pick your own flowers, and apple cannons. I was disappointed that we spent almost $25 to get in, and then you had to pay more to do some of the activities such as the apple cannons. I definitely felt like the admission ticket should have covered that. Overall, we had a great time! read more

I love coming here for their fall festival! If you've never been to a corn maze you need to go. It's especially fun at night but be careful and wear closed toed shoes. Be sure to buy your ticket online to save a $1 and you can avoid the line at the door. Things that your $13 ticket includes is a 5-10 minute tractor ride that goes through the corn maze, pumpkin painting, corn hole toss, and more. They are also food trucks at the festival for you to grab a meal. Check out Bottoms Up BBQ and get the corn on the cob! The only downside is that it's extra money to buy a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch but entering it is part of the $13 admission of course. We were encouraged to see that tickets were available for time slots showing that maybe there was some occupancy limits. This was false. The whole place was packed and mask wearing was not enforced at all. There were no temperature checks or even asking about symptoms. Nothing was being cleaned and people are funneled into being close to others by having limited entrances and exits that are near where people congregate. I wasn't expecting it to be a perfectly safe zero risk outing, but I did expect them to try even a little to keep customers safe through common sense measures. read more

A beautiful and serene piece of country nestled along the Colorado River. We paid $45 for three adults. Kids were free. The $15 each gave us an all access pass which included the cow train ride and pillow jumper. Without the all access pass, you are left with the sandpit in the ship, corn maze, bean bag toss, tether ball, goat feeding, pumpkin painting (with the purchase of a pumpkin) and the small pumpkin patch. The inflatable pillow was a big hit with all of us. Imagine a huge bouncy house in the ground with no walls. Lots of fun to be had on that thing and made for some awesome photos and videos. The goat feeding was fun. You put $.25 in the coin operated box and out comes a small handful of treats. The goats were so cute and friendly. They also looked extremely well cared for. Beautiful coats, bright eyed and clean. Big plus. The pumpkin patch was on the small side but provided a great sensory activity for the kiddos and we got some good photos. The small pumpkins are about the size of a large cantaloupe. There were no tiny pumpkins which would have been so cute for the little kids. Hubs went on the cow train with Kiddo and said it was not very comfortable for a grown man. Bathrooms consisted of icky potra potties but there's just no getting around that out in a field. The good news is they had makeshift sinks that you foot pumped water through that included soap. No paper towels. They had a food stand (with beer) set up. We observed lot of people standing around but not a single person was eating. Maybe they were running behind at noon? Not sure what was going on there? Good thing they were selling pre-bagged popcorn at another stand which was a good snack. In hindsight, we should have just bought one all access pass, saving a few bucks, since one all access pass could be transferred between adults. I would call Barton Hill Farms a beautiful work in progress. They seem a little incomplete just yet considering the cost of entry per activity ratio. Had we not bought the all access pass, we would have been limited in activities. If they added a playscape, small hay maze for the little kids, tiny pumpkins, more animals to the petting zoo and a couple more activities, this place would be perfect. Great outing for us. Had a great time last year visiting for the fall festival and looking forward to going this year as well. Due to COVID you need to buy your tickets online ahead of time. Hopefully, visiting the farm will become a yearly tradition for our family. We loved the live music, numerous activities for kiddos, pumpkin patch and corn maze. Money well spent! If you are looking for a Covid friendly environment this is not it. We drove a while to come here after a page of Covid safety promises on their website. Upon arriving and walking up to scan tickets we noticed people walk right in with no mask. Their security guard checking bags had no mask, and looking in no one was socially distancing. When we asked our attendee about it she didn't say anything. So we immediately asked if we could have a refund because the first step to to Covid would be at least to wear a mask to get in right? Well she said she would give our information to the owner because she had no control over that. That's fair but we haven't heard anything and that was Saturday the 24th. This may have been a fun experience but we feel like they weren't very truthful about the steps they we taking to be Covid safe. read more

Fabulous family fun for all ages! Their fall pumpkin patch activities are the best! One ticket gets you in to enjoy everything there is to do from the tree fort, slides, jumping pad, corn maze, tractor rides, and so much more. The food is actually very good, too. I noticed options like hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, pulled pork bbq sandwiches and pizza. The only thing that would make it better is if they sold pumpkin ice cream! Anyone that knows me knows I do not complain much and I'm not one to post a bad review. I was just very disappointed in my entire experience here and when I emailed management I was even more disappointed in their reply. Before making the drive out I tried to get an answer as to whether or not they had any electric scooters, carts, ect. for people with disabilities and if not how long the walk would be from the handicapped parking to the archery and or the gerbil wheel (the two items my child wanted to do). I did not get an answer via email or phone calls. When we arrived all the handicapped parking was taken & quite a few with no signs in the window. So I had no choice but to park far away from the entrance. My son and I walked to the CS woman and asked if they had any type of scooters that could be rented for the day and she said they did not. She said there were however guys driving around on golf carts that might be willing to give us a ride from one end of park to the other and possibly to our car. In order for me to find out for sure I had to first go online and pay for our tickets ($50). Once in the park, the people running the carts said they were for employees only. We were directed to keep walking to the right to where the archery was located. It was closed!! As was the gerbil wheel!! The only other activity my son was interested in was the apple cannon, but the line was too long for me to stand in and to shoot the apples by the way was an additional charge!!! There was no way I could walk to the other side of the park and at that point my son was way disapointed and ready to leave. I walked back up to th le CS woman to inquire about a refund especially since we did not partake in the activities. She said I would need to call or email management. I did, and explained what happened and the response I received back was since the park was only open to the public at 60% capacity no refund woukd be given and to have a nice day. SMH. read more

Folks working here were so kind and hospitable. Farm loving is the way to be treated in this world. Fall event was fun. I like how you pay one fee then can enjoy all the games and be taken care of by the caring staff. Corn maize, tether ball, baseball, football throws, bouncing mound, horse bouncing race, and tractor train rides. :) by the time you play all the included games you'll need a break perhaps sit on a haystack in the shade and listen to the band. I highly recommend this fall festival to anyone with kids! It is the perfect way to spend a weekend afternoon. They are open on Saturday and Sunday September 23 through November 5. The entry fee is reasonable, $13 if you get tickets online and $14 at the gate. The entry fee includes all of the 30 family friendly activities except face painting. They have several food options, and beer and wine for the adults. All of the food and drink is reasonably priced. There is even live music and a huge corn maze! The kids had a blast! There weren't any healthy food options which is a shame since it's so close to Austin which is a health centric city. The corn maze was fun but overall not worth the price nor the drive. The lines are so long for everything, and everything was so expensive. Love this place! The family and I went in the fall for the pumpkin patch and then just this last weekend for Backyard Bash. We had an amazing time both visits and will continue to make it an annual thing! I feel like the entire place is beautiful land well organized. I love all the options of games and things to do. The food options are delicious and lots to drink (alcoholic and non). We loved being able to cut the fresh wildflowers this weekend! This weekend's visit was much hotter and a little more physically miserable (than October) but there are SO MANY shade options! They have so many great trees and tons of picnic tables with shade! This place was awesome! We just moved from SoCal where there's literally a pumpkin patch on every corner. I wanted to make sure we made it to a pumpkin patch before Halloween and we decided to make the 45 minute drive to Barton Hill Farms. It did not disappoint! Loads of stuff to do and see! The tractor rides, bounce...thing & their farm animals is just what this mama ordered!! Pack a lunch and have a picnic. One note, those awesome tube slides are SLICK! If you want your 2 year old to go with you down the slide, forget about it and make sure to prepare for the landing, I ended up in the divot after the landing pad with a scraped elbow! Fortunately my 2 year old was in my arm and let the pilot land for her! Oh and the bees were all around so if you or one of your babies is allergic be sure you have your epi-pen handy. read more

They have a great selection of things for kids to do: pumpkin painting, bounce pad, cow train, pony rides, face painting, two corn mazes, and more. We purchased the tickets online, so I believe paid $14/person. My 2-year-old got in for free. For this price, she got pretty much unlimited trips on the bounce pad, tricycle races, slides, and cow train. We paid extra for the pony rides ($4/ride), but it was well worth it since that was hands down her favorite part. Everything was really well organized. The people running each of the activities made sure that things moved along smoothly so all kids got a turn. There were a few lines, but they weren't incredibly long, and they moved fast. They also had real food, including burgers, and a beer shack with a decent selection. No lines for food. We all had a really good time, and we plan to go back again next year. read more

This place.. First of all, they made a KILLING off of the Halloween season. Had to! Me & my 3 kids walked IN for $45, not including food or anything else. BUT, we truly had a great time!! We loved everything about Barton Hill Farms. Truly. It was worth the drive, and was worth the money. We had a blast in the corn maze, and could have had so much fun if we tried it at night. But, loved all of the things to do there from the pillow to the play areas. The train was terrible, unfortunately. I've never felt like my spine was in danger, but that thing was TOO bumpy. You can go in and on things endlessly, so it adds up. We didn't eat or drink, but grabbed a bag of kettle corn and was ready to go home after 2 hours there. Scenery is to die for. The prices were surprisingly acceptable! There was a ton of stuff to do and the place was well kept and well staffed. The corn maze was fun with clues that made it easier to get out, ( which I really appreciated as I need to use the restroom, which there were also plenty available). It's located next to the Colorado river in a beautiful spot. They have a selection of beer and wine, a live band that played very well. Plenty of covered tables and shaded areas , playscapes, food. All of the activities are covered by general admission and parking is free. The pumpkin patch was big and plenty to choose from. read more
