These guys are crooks and thieves! This company ripped me off too!! Last spring I had water in my basement. They quoted me $4700 and offered me a "lifetime warranty". This spring (less than a year later) I have flooding in my basement again. The warranty? Oh, that was only for the one wall that they treated, we didn't mean that you would not have water in your basement next year. If you want a dry basement we have to treat more, that will be another $5300. The initial contract said they would install a 1/3 hp sump pump if needed, but they decided it wasn't needed. Funny, I have water in my basement, I guess I need that sump pump. Their answer? No, we didn't think we needed it then, so you don't get one now. RUN AWAY!! RUN FAR FAR AWAY! read more

I'm in the process of buying a house and needed to get an estimate done for water issues in the basement. I set up an appointment, and after finding out I needed something sooner called to try for something sooner. I spoke with someone on the who was nice enough to give me pointers and general info by phone and said if I still wanted them to come, to let them know. I called a few days later, and asked if the appointment was still available and was told "Yes, you're still on the calendar". Two weeks later, I met my Realtor at the house and we waited for an hour but no one from Basement Waterproofing showed. We called the next day and I was told there was "some confusion" with getting the appointment setup and they thought I didn't want them. After reminding her that I called to confirm, I was given some other poor excuses. When my realtor called she was given misinformation - specifically they claimed to have told me upfront they weren't able to do this work which is absolutely untrue. I waited 2 WEEKS for them to show up after telling them this was a time sensitive issue. This was a waste of time, their customer service was terrible. I went with another company (who also has a lifetime, transferable warranty) and will be telling everyone I can to NOT work with these people. Save your time, go somewhere else!!! read more

this does not work at all, basement still leaks, now they want to rip up basement floor and put gravel in, i called to talk to salesman, no call back, sent 2 little 18 yr old boys to install, clueless.... don't waste your money... scam read more

This company ripped me off for almost $10,000! Their injectable waterproofing does not work and now they want me to cut out wood paneling and studs in the walls so they can install a sump pump. I'm a single woman and can't do the work myself and they won't do it. After paying them, I can't afford to hire someone to do the work, so I'm out the money. They were very rude and condescending to me over the phone and refused to refund my money. I wish I could give them 0 stars! I've reported them to the BBB. read more

Fantastic company. Fantastic work. Not only did the company offer a lifetime guarantee on the effectiveness of their work, but the warranty is transferable to future owners!! That's how sure they are that my basement won't have water problems again. No other company I came across was willing to offer such a warranty, so this made the choice of contractor easy. Sure enough, I had some dampness on one part of a basement wall after the intitial work was done. I called the company, skeptical that they would address such a minor issue, but they returned within a week to address it. The dampness is gone. I liked the people, and my basement is DRY. After a very thorough inspection of our basement and a very detailed explanation of options, we decided to schedule them to redo the insulation in our basement with the basement to beautiful system. We also had a dehumidifier and a new sump pump with drainage added. One thing I loved about them is they showed up when they said they would, on time, and put in full days to make sure the job was getting done in a timely manner. Anne kept me up-to-date by text every single day to let me know what they'd completed and what was next in the queue. All interactions I had with every member of the family who worked at my home was genuine and pleasant. Additionally, even though they ran into an unexpectedly thick basement floor and had to use a special tool for the trench in the basement, they still somehow managed to finish on time.. Another thing I found very impressive is they actually left any space they used cleaner than they found it. My basement floor and the basement windows were immaculate when the job was finished. They used our garage to cut the insulation boards on a day when it was quite rainy and swept out our entire garage; not just any insulation bits that happened to fall on the floor...the entire floor! There's always a certain level of mess when you're having any type of renovation done, especially if you have cement jackhammered, but the amount of cleaning I had to do afterwards was minimal in part due to the fact that they took precautions to try to keep the rest of my house as clean as possible, and contain the mess to only the basement (which they then cleaned as soon as the job was done). I can't recommend this company highly enough! I know we will be enjoying the work they did for many many years to come and I appreciate the quality job they did.

He sends me an email stating he sent an Email a while back (no ya didn't, no spam either) this states by contract I had 30 days to cancel? Sounds like a scam to me, what say you?. BUT, I can pay the remainder (I have no resources or can afford a loan) or Bless them I can put it towards something else? At this point. TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION OF SERVICE. TOTALLY NO INNER COMMUNICATION. ABSOLUTLY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. At this point,,, I would not let them change the screen in my window. It probably would take a year to get done. ALSO DO NOT GIVE A DEPOSITE!!! Better off just setting it on fire.

I've been a customer of Basement Waterproofing for almost 10 years now. When I had first moved into my home, I wasn't able to fully use my basement because of the water issues we were having. My husband called Basement Waterproofing and had them come in to fix our problem. My basement has been dry ever since, and my sister, Mary, even comments about how wonderful they did when she comes to visit. I thought they did a nice job - I would recommend them. read more
