She spoke to Kathleen who offered no solution, and when I contacted her myself she told me "once the contract is closed it's out of my hands, you should call him (her husband) about that". I of course did try to call him, left a vm and never heard a word...surpise surprise. I really am floored at the level of unprofessionalism and callousness that it takes to let your husband steal from a client and your only rebuddle is "well I got my commission so not my problem." I even called to speak to her broker about the situation, but that also got swept by the wayside apparently. I would be VERY cautious of working with this realtor in particular and honestly it doesn't speak volumes that the brokerage didn't seem to care either. I'm sure they will just say all of this isn't true to save face, but I just don't want anyone else to end up in the same situation. (When I moved in, there were MULTIPLE holes left from the previous tenants/owner, by the way) Tried to reach them regarding my security deposit via phone and text for two whole months and nobody got back to me, even though my lease agreement said "within 30 days." After I threatened legal action, I finally got a completely unprofessional invoice and letter. Nobody ever actually contacted me. Not to mention the hot water tank burst while living there and the replacement they installed broke a month later. I had to go 4 days without hot water while they "figured it out." Plus, the water pipe leaked the entire time I lived there and my water bill was $90+ every month. The appraiser who came prior to us moving out said the place was "immaculate"... this company and these people are an absolute joke. Do not rent from them.

Instead of updating the mandatory Ohio Residential Property Disclosure Form, Burgan Real Estate immediately slapped the home back on the market for $159,000, stripped the "Back on Market" history tags from public web portals to hide the failed contract, and left the outdated disclosure active (still dated 7/14, my inspection was completed on 7/21). They have scheduled a public Open House for this Sunday, August 23, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
