They still make the best cookies in the world (nostalgia may be a factor). Fresh, flavorful, and not too sweet. I've tried most flavors, and they're fantastic. FAVE COOKIES - caramel pecan (delicious, love the soft caramel) - lemon cooler (totally unique to Hope's, get one) - sugar (they use the best sprinkles, sweet and crunchy but not waxy!) - peanut butter (classic) - pumpkin spice (seasonal, tastes like actual pumpkin!) The vanilla ice cream is also better than what you can find in stores, so I pick up a pint whenever possible. Goes great with the cookies! The service is always friendly and quick even when they're busy with huge college orders, and it's easily one of my favorite counters to order from in the area. I always tip, because other quick service restaurants have made me appreciate this so much. They share the space with a pizza place, so unfortunately there isn't much Hope's-specific indoor seating. But the benches outside are cute, and cozy in decent weather. I wish their other locations were still open, so appreciate this one if you have regular access! The prices are super fair and the staff is fairly friendly as well. The pastry was very, very good. The dough was fantastic, perfectly sweet, nice amount of pistachios. Very solid portion. The hot chocolate was very good too. Perfect level of sweetness, not overpowering, and not too frothy or anything like that. Everything was super solid.
