I've gone to this Baskin Robbins while traveling through for 3 weekends in a row now. First visit was great with the man waiting on me being very pleasant. I was very satisfied in the amount of ice cream he gave me in my order. On my 2nd visit, I ordered the same items from the first visit, 2 scoops of chocolate chip in a cup and 2 scoops of pistachio almond in a waffle cone. I watched her as she got the scoops of chocolate chip and they were small and it showed in the cup she handed me. The waffle cone was filled as it should be. I asked if she could add more ice cream as that was not 2 full scoops (at 6.49 for 2 scoops, I would expect it to look like the waffle cone scoops, but it didn't). She told me that I would have to pay more for more ice cream. So I asked if she could put the chocolate chip scoops from the cup into a waffle cone. She did, and there you could really see the difference...she just shrugged her shoulders and told me they were the same size scoops. I paid $14.47 for 1 1/2 scoops of ice cream and 2 waffle cones. Got on the BR website and reported what had transpired. My last visit yesterday (I decided to give them another chance), my order looked the same as the 2nd visit. When I called to order a cake I was told by the decorator "I'm too busy right now can you call back later?" So I did...I picked up the cake on the 19th of August, and I was Absolutely dissatisfied with the cake decorator, she was rude and extremely unprofessional. I told her what I wanted in regards to colors and style, and she did the bare minimum. Not the style or colors I wanted at all. To top it all off, the front of the cake got smashed a little with the box. It was for my daughters 15th birthday, we just accepted the cake and laughed at it at the end of the day. I guess I should count them on one of my next visits. Anyways, who doesn't like ice cream, it's good on a hot day, delicious as a drinkable confection and straight fire when paired with fruit; like in a banana split. Ice cream's value has sky rocketed over the years for some reason, but regardless of that, the prices here are always comparable to other cream slingers in the area. This location is more than disappointing! For starters, there is a pandemic going on and I think this location forgot all about it. 3 employees working and not a single one wearing a mask, yet breathing over your ice cream as they serve it to you. There is no sign that states customers should wear or mask or a limit of people that should be allowed in at a time. I went in yesterday and 9 other customers were inside all waiting with no masks...what the? Look, this may not be serious to some people, but I'm pregnant and my mom is a cancer survivor and this business need to take things more seriously. Customer service here also lacks, no one greets you, but instead just stares at you. The Merced location is GREAT. They only allow 6 people at a time and specify standing 6 feet apart WITH a mask and is required to enter their location. Also, ALL employees there had a mask on! Went in order ice cream for my family nothing to crazy the gal who made one of our ice cream accidentally put nuts on our ice cream when checking out I let her know there wasn't supposed to be nuts on it she attempted to scrape them off when getting in the car and telling my husband since it was his he was not thrilled he went back in and the manager came up and he told her there wasn't supposed to be nuts on it she argued and said we'll there's nuts on the receipt looks like there was supposed to be nuts . This place is a joke. The workers are always so rude and disrespectful. They constantly change the business hours based on "if it's busy" on any given day. Then when you go in for a milkshake, they always give you the excuse that they stop serving milkshakes an hour before closing. Seriously? It's a joke. Always nothing but excuses from them. They need to update their hours online and they need to keep their blenders open until maybe 5-10 minutes before closing. Starbucks will make you a drink right up until closing. It's a simple throw the blender in the dishwasher. Yet these employees are so rude and lazy they don't even care to try and provide customer service. If I could give half a star I would. All the employees here are very friendly and so polite, not just talking to us about our orders but about our days and how we've been. The food here is always amazing. I've got nothing bad to say about them! Come here for a late night dessert or to get your sweet tooth pulled, it will definitely fill that craving. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. When the owners are there the service is nice and friendly. However being refused to get extra sprinklers (after I offered to pay whatever) and arguing that is not going to melt after they messed up the first part of the order is just NOT good customer service. I'm not one to write reviews usually but tonight on 8/01/2020 I walked in a little over 10 minutes until close, I'm 5 months pregnant and was desperately craving a cappuccino blast. Thank Prego cravings. Lol. Excited I barely made it, But so disappointed when the girl behind the counter told me they aren't making drinks anymore due to shutting off the machines already. They were closing,I've worked closing shifts in food so as disappointed as I was I understand and proceeded to walk out. Well as I was walking out the young lady who was sweeping offered to make my drink for me! She said pregnancy cravings I get it. HORRIBLE SERVICE! the lady (owner) she has terrible customer service! She forces her smile. Not a people person at all! Aden should not be in the front, his attitude and customer service is terrible! He makes customers feel uncomfortable (I asked friends and family who live here in Atwater and they all say the same thing about the mom and the son). They provide a punch card (you receive a punch every time you purchase a drink) once your punch card is full you receive a free drink. I come here quite often (1-3 a week) i was on my second punch card. On my last visit prior to today's the girl punched my card on "free". Today i went to get my free drink and the guy who wears glasses named "Aden" said that they only punch the "free" once its been used he ASSumed i had received my free drink already. (mind you they take it from you, so how would i have it) he made me feel really uncomfortable and harassed! HORRIBLE SERVICE! They have lost my friends/family and my business. read more

I am so shocked and upset this evening. I came to the Atwater, California Baskin-Robbins Robbins location with my daughter to use my buy one get one sundae for $0.99 and ordered two brownie sundaes & also an ice cream scoop. The male manager let know I couldn't use my coupon because of the 3/31 $1.50 scoop offer. I asked him to charge me full price for the single scoop and use the sundae coupon and proceeded to tell me that i couldn't use my coupon because he couldn't override the $1.50 per scoop offer when the sundae coupon is valid 3/28-4/03/17. He told me to leave the ice cream and leave. I felt so embarrassed and harassed in front of all the customers in the store. I felt worse since I'm 38 weeks pregnant & other work colleagues were there ordering. I just wanted to relax & enjoy ice cream with my family at home. I hope someone writes up the manager & that he never treats another customer this way again he must not have experience or training in management OR customer service.
