Their donuts aren't the best in town, a little on the dry side, however they do have a very big selection. It's a decent donut, but I would prefer donut King or Roland's Donuts over Yum Yum. read more

Horrible customer service!!. My first time ever trying this place thinking it was going to be good but no. $18 for 3 drinks that taste like absolute I am not kidding. I asked if I can maybe exchange the drink or get my money back she said "no", and was being very rude I asked for my receipt she said no she threw it away already, she didn't want to give a name she kept saying come back in the morning, never returning again. I went for donut holes and they were out of the plain but had a dozen decorated donut holes. I asked her when they were made, she said yesterday. Whatever, should be fine. My to go place I have been going here for years and love their donuts they are always fresh and the staff have always been super nice. I like that they are open 24 hours. My daughter and I get a sweet tooth every now and then and take a late night donut run. My favorite are the chocolate filled with custard they are so delicious!!! My mom has always liked Rollins donuts they are ok but prefer yum yum personally . I definitely recommend. read more

The kid with a little mustache standing there doing nothing looks at me an says,sorry we can't make that until after 6am. Maybe I'm just picky but I like soft fluffy pillow doughnuts that doesn't taste greasy. I ordered a variety of donuts including Cherry filled, lemon, curd filled, chocolate dipped, plain and so forth. They have a large variety of different flavor profiles but again, they are a bit on the stiff side. I believe if more places became available to consumers that had delicious donuts, this place would go out of business. Somehow I wish there was a Krispy Kreme that would open up in the area. On the plus side of this donut shop, the cashiers are helpful, patient and the store is on a good street making it easy to drop in and pick stuff up. I call this place Yuck-Yucks.. maybe I'm just a tough food critic. Or it could be that since I'm a certified pastry chef - I know quality and this place isn't it. read more

Came here on national donut day. I haven't been here in years and was reminded why. If you're looking for stale, greasy, and overly sweet flavorless donuts than this is the place for you. These donuts are not soft and airy and certainly not fresh. You could taste the fryer grease was in need of a changing. I've never heard of a donut shop that's open for 24 hours until Yum Yum Donuts.... and of all the places... in Merced! Whack! I had a hankering for a donut during physiology class so decided to Yelp donuts and found this. Went in there and got so speechless cause there's so much to choose from and I didn't really have a specific craving for anything specific; I just wanted donuts! I was so overwhelmed that I just went for the very first thing my eyes saw --- the mini donuts and this long-looking "donut" that's apparently filled with apples and it all cost me $3 (not bad at all). Took it home, devoured it, enjoyed it, and filled me up to the max. I really really loved that apple "donut" thing; reminded me of apple pie,,,sigh...hmm.... definitely coming back to try other flavors, and maybe next time I shall try the strawberry "donut" long-looking thing. FYI: Basically, that long-looking thing I'm talking about looks like a long donut, covered with cinnamon and sugar; when you see it, it looks dense but when you taste it, it's the opposite; they have strawberry flavor as well, except it's glazed. read more
