On my 2nd visit, I ordered the same items from the first visit, 2 scoops of chocolate chip in a cup and 2 scoops of pistachio almond in a waffle cone. I watched her as she got the scoops of chocolate chip and they were small and it showed in the cup she handed me. The waffle cone was filled as it should be. I asked if she could add more ice cream as that was not 2 full scoops (at 6.49 for 2 scoops, I would expect it to look like the waffle cone scoops, but it didn't). She told me that I would have to pay more for more ice cream. So I asked if she could put the chocolate chip scoops from the cup into a waffle cone. She did, and there you could really see the difference...she just shrugged her shoulders and told me they were the same size scoops. I paid $14.47 for 1 1/2 scoops of ice cream and 2 waffle cones. Got on the BR website and reported what had transpired. My last visit yesterday (I decided to give them another chance), my order looked the same as the 2nd visit. I won't be going back again and I will give them a bad review whenever I can.....

Nonetheless, we left with a good haul and got one of almost everything: Red velvet slice, Carrot cake slice, Chocolate Mousse slice, Chocolate brownie, and Lemon bar. They also had a sheet cake, a small pack of cupcakes and cake pops in a separate case, so I wasn't sure if those were preorders or display or available for purchase. Here's what I loved: THE BROWNIE. One of the best I've ever had! The lemon bar was also delicious, super tart and perfectly baked. I'd get either of those again! Customer service was very friendly, prices were clearly displayed and fair, and the portions were good sizes. Here's what I just liked: The cake part of the red velvet, mousse, and carrot cake was a bit dry. They were beautifully decorated, the frosting and fillings were great, but the cake itself just wasn't as soft and moist as I was hoping. Another Yelper mentioned sticking the cake in the microwave and I wish I would have tried that. Definitely a small business worth supporting!

Upon entering, I was struck by three things, how friendly the worker was, how hard the door was to open (I do have mobility issues on occasion), and how little there was on display to choose from. Still, I found a couple of nice items (red velvet and some serious chocolate cake) my wife loved the chocolate but we found the red velvet to be quite dry and hard. I suspect that it had been in the case far too long. Fortunately the chocolate was so good, my wife said that it more than made up for it. Overall, the ambiance was simple bakery, nice folks, serving well. I suspect where these nice folks shine is in pre-orders (which makes TOTAL sense, as foot traffic, particularly in this bakery's location would be a tough sell indeed). I suspect that we will be keeping Dessert European Cakes and Pastries in mind for our upcoming bakery needs.

Cakewalk provided the perfect nature design/coordination, organic farm to table catering and custom cake design with dessert services for our special day. Jennifer is an absolute gem. She connected with us via phone and email multiple times leading up to the big day to plan a truly amazing wedding day. She asked us for our pinterest board, and she really listened to our ideas and concerns. Her emails were very detailed and consisted of multiple design boards. She was very organized and provided us with a comprehensive planning timeline. Jennifer incorporated two new entrees for our dinner service that were not in their original menu selection. During the tasting, she offered the highest degree of service. She also provided the wine pairings for each dish! Jennifer coordinated with all our vendors. She planned a day of coronation timeline that was perfectly executed and was flexible with any changes. She really has a caring eye for detail and made our dream wedding a reality! Our wedding party was intimate with 20 guests and Jennifer and her team really made everyone feel like royalty. We really don't know how we could have done any of this without her. 100/100 the best day of our lives.

I can't have dairy and requested the vegan option for one of the tiers, and the two remaining tiers were the normal flavor for our guests to fully enjoy; I love how she can make accommodate dietary restrictions! Our florist provided the florals on the cake and you can already see it was a seamless and effortless design.
