I'm very upset with the amount they gave me. my friend who went right before me ordered a KIDS SCOOP and they filled her up to the brim. I ordered the exact same flavor with the exact same server but in a 1 scoop. they proceed to fill up my cup halfway and tell me that's five dollars. No thank you. I recently got my son a birthday cake from here. I made my order online. They have quite a few options, which is nice. However, it really wasn't anything overly amazing to look at when we got it. It cost about $60, and honestly, I could have probably found one equal or even equally visually satisfying at a kroger or walmart. It was ready the next day. So it was fast and that is a huge plus. However. I expected an amazing cake as far as flavor, and I was a little disappointed. It was good, but I would not say great. I had to call the store to ask a question. For 3 hours, no one answered. When the cake was picked up, 2 ppl there playing on their phones. Service was not wonderful. Overall, if you want a good cake super fast and personalized, Baskin-Robbins is a good go-to. Nice place to sit and eat some ice cream. It hasn't changed much in many years. This location is quiet, mostly, but can get busy some evening and weekends. It's mostly clean, but could do a better job sweeping and cleaning when there are no customers. read more

Ice cream was delicious....staff was friendly and efficient working to fill orders quickly BUT the bathroom was disgusting. My 3 year old granddaughter and I chose to hold it until our next stop. My first time at the location but my daughter said the bathroom is always gross. The have a good health/cleanliness score so I guess they clean the bathrooms for inspections. Made me wonder what the back area looked like. Come on BR Lex you're better than that. You're not a gas station. As a fan of local businesses, I must explain that customer service from this place is top notch and other businesses should take note. It's no wonder that this location, in a strip mall, surrounded by several Bluegrass Hospitality Group Restaurants, has been here and in business since I can remember. I walked in and joked that I wanted a sample of each ice cream that they had, and without hesitation the dude who wins customer server of the year said something like "which one do you want to start with?" I did end up sampling two. The mint chocolate didn't taste like toothpaste like the last place I tried it. I kid you not, I seriously think that the other place used toothpaste to make their mint ice cream. I decided on one scoop of the pecans and praline, like the candy flavor that I learned to love in New Orleans... way before I came to hate NOLA. I don't recommend that you make a trip to NOLA, but I you find yourself there, you must check out the praline candy at one of the candy stores. We went in this afternoon to take advantage of their "1 Scoop for $1.31" Special, which I THINK they run on the last day of every month that ends in 31 days. The lobby appears to be pretty clean, and the seating area appears a little strange (only seats on one side across the entire area... Maybe to maximize standing room?) The staff was very quick and courteous, and graciously offered to let us sample different flavors. I eventually settled on a scoop of Jamoca (coffee ice cream) and Emily opted for "Mama's Making Cookies" which blends cookie dough, brown sugar, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate chips. We opted to sit outside since it was nice and sunny outside. Overall, a decent experience. read more

The ice cream was great! The service eh not so much. The girl was new so I'll give her some credit and won't be to harsh lol. I'm only joking! The service was not bad just no speaking other than telling me how much of my money she wanted! And well she wanted almost all of it!!!! That's my complaint about the place! "is that all..is that all.." slinging our ice creams across the counter as if I was bothering her. so as I paid I was just trying to get out and away from her negative attitude, she say have a nice day with a eye roll I say "you too " she says it again loudly and even more rudely... I'm exiting and she yells "OR NOT"...never have I ever seen such a display of terrible customer service. Graeters street was blocked, so we stopped at Baskin-Robbins. I realized I'd never been there before. While I will always choose gelato over ice cream, it isn't as commonplace or readily available. I had a cup of pralines and cream, which was very good. My boyfriend did have to repeat his sundae order three times. Obviously, the server wasn't focusing. The interior needs an upgrade. It's definitely not ice cream season but we wanted dessert and ended up here in January. I was surprised to see they are open until 10- even on a weeknight. We've been here a few times and every time we've had great, friendly service. Sometimes it's been crowded and other times like tonight we were the only ones. i am very very displeased on how this baskin robbins is running business during covid 19. last night my friends and i went to baskin robbins. when we walked in we noticed only 2 out of the 3 employees working wearing masks and NONE of them were wearing gloves. the man in front of me ordered a cone and as she reached over the counter to hand it to him with no gloves their hands TOUCHED. once that happened she did not wash her hands or put gloves on! as she handed me my cone her hands touched the top of it, again with no gloves right after she touched the mans hand! and it only gets worse. once we finished ordering we went over to the cash register only to find the girl working not to be wearing a mask and she was BITING her fingernails. i truly have never seen anything like it and it was such a bad experience. those three girls need to be taught proper hygiene while working in the food industry especially during A GLOBAL PANDEMIC. the only thing i have to say is if you go to this bask in robbins and see these three girls make sure they are wearing gloves and masks and are washing their hands often! don't make the same mistake i did! read more
