Arriving at 9 am not only do they say they they have no appointment for me, they claim they never talked to me before. Thank you for the wonderful care you provide.

That they hit even when talking in an uncomfortable way. I already have an appointment for my child tomorrow, so I will be going there. Would they fit me in then, as they have messed up my mouth (which is not in great condition, my fault) so that I can't even use what I have left? Nope. They expect me to drive a separate time. Use more gas. Money I don't have. I bet they try to charge me again, too. First time in a decade I was left this way. They now hit like the dentures he had made that never fit my mouth for the same reason.

I literally just read on the "write a review" page that you can review anything, even your dentist,…read moreand thought "Wait, I haven't reviewed my dentist yet!" Actually I will unfortunately no longer be able to go back to this dentist because I have recently changed jobs in a way that I am no longer in the Statesville area. This isn't at all out of frustration or not being happy with them. In fact Dr. Dirig, his wife and staff have provided my best dentist experience in memory. They're very intimate with their patients and make it a truly personal experience. Dr. Dirig in particular loves to talk and really get to know the clientele on a personal level. Here you will feel like family or at least a close friend. I had several cosmetic level improvements done while here. Notably the changing of all of my metal fillings to ceramic/composite so they now match my teeth. I don't look like a 90s kid anymore! Here they will almost consider such a thing to "go without saying". Of course they will certainly ask if you want it done while trying to convince you of course that it's the best option. (More money for them so why not.) But the fact that they take notice of the smaller/less obvious things is certainly a benefit. Since starting to come here my teeth have never been in better shape. If you want a no-stress/no-pressure environment for a dentist (which is hard to come by for a dentist) I think you will find it here.

His rates are in line with the work being done. He and his staff are pleasant and courteous. Few people like going to the dentist, but he does make it as enjoyable as it can be under the circumstances. The thing i admire most is that he has never tried to up sell me anything, quite the opposite. If he knows a filling is eventually going to need a crown, as long as there is no risk of it causing other issues, he will wait until the filling becomes an issue, rather than push for a crown immediately. To me his honesty and professionalism are his best assets. You wont go wrong choosing Dr. Dirig.

Then more lies about my insurance and with their computer system. I had to call my insurance after waiting a month to find out they never submitted anything for my dentures and was told it only takes 5 working days for insurance to approve the procedure. The first lie was in the office from the dental assistant the second was when I phoned after waiting 2 weeks and was told insurance kicked it back for more information the third after waiting a month was that they were having an issue with their computer system getting through to my insurance company. I helped build your business as a patient when you were starting out. If you no longer wanted me as a patient because I have Medicaid you should've told me up front. I had to call the Medicaid and find out for myself. And if there were problems with your computer system you should've had the courtesy of calling me to explain why it was taking so long and not leaving me in the dark. Very unprofessional! Shame on you! My initial visit for X-rays and supposedly a request for insurance approval was on January 9th 2025 I'm still waiting to hear from them! As with all medical care today, it's all about how much does your insurance pay and screw the patient.

They have done this now for my last 4 visits. They gave me a print out of what each office visit would entail but they have not followed that at all AND yet they expect payment up front, so they have been paid but I am not receiving the care outlined in my plan of care. I feel as though I have been ripped off by this practice. I would strongly recommend doing some research before going to this practice for dental care. Lisa
