I am giving 2 stars because the customer service was excellent. However, if you want to purchase sunglasses, go elsewhere. I expected cheap sunglasses when I purchased $30 sunglasses, but these simply don't do the essential function of sunglasses. Almost no difference in sunlight from when they are on or off. read more

Huge outdoor store with massive amounts of options. Each area is staffed by a person that knows what they are talking about. Sometimes it feels the options are to much and I cant decide. Boats galore. Purchase new or get your serviced. Special parking for RVs. Everything you need to fish from poles to bait. Tackle boxes, lures, and line. Clothing for everything. Hanging out or hunting, fishing, or boating. This place has everything. Only down side is the sales people on the second floor trying to sell vacations. They are nice and I don't want to be rude but I'm getting tired of saying no, so I just hold up my hand when they make eye contact. Even if you don't need something you should go and check this place out. The interior is hard to explain but it is so neat like a Disney theme park. Kids love it and you can easily spend hours here. read more

If you're into consumerist outdoor shops this is one to see. The decor is outstanding and they definitely have something for everyone. The prices are high, but with the numerous staff members and the immense power bill I imagine it takes to run this place, I can see why. read more

Been trying to reach boat service at Leeds AL Bass Pro for two weeks now regarding warranty on my Regency pontoon. Left numerous messages for someone to call me back but no response. You'd think I'd get better (or at least some) response after paying $65,000 for the boat!!! Nice boat but service response leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. We showed up at 10am to look into buying a new boat. Parked by the boats, started looking but the ones I wanted to see where covered, walked over to the door and the salesman inside saw us, turned around and walked away. The door was locked so we walked all the way around the store. Went inside and went back to the boat area. A lady there greeted us and said oh I will let you out and the salesman will remove the covers. We went back outside and waited. A salesman by the name of Gary came out and started fumbling with a cover on one of the boats I wanted to look at. So I walked over to another boat and climbed in to start looking at it. As I was talking to my wife I looked over and Gary was walking back into the store. I walked over to the other boat and he ratcheted the cover back on. I went and pounded on the door, he came to the door and said sir you need to come in the alarm is gonna go off in 10 seconds. I said no you come out I'm looking at boats. He said I guess but it's cold and I'm sick so for a second. I told him the other lady told us you would uncover the boats so we can look at them. He said I don't know why she told you that I'm NOT going to uncover them. It's cold, I'm sick and it's gonna rain. As we started leaving having a few choice words he tried to back talk but I was done. Absolutely horrible. Never again to Manteca Bass Pro. read more

Great source for clothes for big and tall individuals.

It's a little pricey for the big ticket items like ATVs and boats (there are plenty of retailers in the area that sell lower on those things), but for your hunting and fishing supplies, they are comparable to other retailers. The staff is friendly. The store is clean and well stocked. The selection is amazing. I was able to do all my Christmas shopping here in about two hours. (Lucky for me, my wife and daughter are outdoorsy types.) read more

just remember. if you buy a boat here, they do not warranty anything. they claim that there is a bow to stern 10 year warranty, but in the fine print, nothing is covered. I have had electronics short out and need replacement. I took the 2 year old boat in for warranty repair and their response was to yell and curse at me. they claimed they were helping me by only charging me $300 for the repair which is a warranty repair. the service department is a joke and the boat salesmen commit fraud. one of the managers tried to scare me by saying they were secretly recording me. I asked for the recording and he got scared. this place is a joke and a scam. read more
