My now husband and I recently had our wedding reception at the Rockport Golf Club, and we are so…read morehappy with the choice we made! We had the option to have the ceremony at the location as well but we had already planned our ceremony somewhere offsite. Steve and his team were very flexible, allowing us to view the space multiple times leading up to the big day. The Bridal Suite had just been redone and it was so beautiful! We had a total of 100 people at our wedding and it was the most perfect space for us. The string lights and the new fireplace insert really made the space feel romantic. Our DJ was able to setup his space with lights, and Steve let us bring a fog machine and bubble guns! The bar staff were amazing as well! We had three signature drinks - all of which were delicious. There is also a cute balcony where I did the bouquet toss, which was very fun! One of the best things about renting the club was that we were able to bring stuff the day before and store overnight (decorations and such). We were also able to go back the day after the wedding to pick up anything we had left the night before. This was very helpful as we weren't rushed at all. The price was also extremely fair, and if I were to do it all again I would choose the Golf Club a million times over. We wanted a cozy, rustic feel, and we had toured a few other venues that were the barn type. They were extremely overpriced and honestly didn't even come close to being as great as the Golf Club. We toured the Golf Club when a bridal shower was being setup, and as soon as we saw the space all done up we knew it was the place for us!

My wife and I really enjoyed this great course. It's very walkable and the pacing was awesome (we…read morewere never on anyone's heels - nor was anyone on ours). The best part is it's normally private, but goes public on weekends in the afternoon (i.e. fantastically kept greens!). The only thing I didn't love was (if I remember correctly) the second hole. Imagine going hiking and hitting a ball up the mountain and you'll get the gist for the rocky hazard of this hole. Very strange in an otherwise great 9 holes of golf. Still, highly recommended.

Challenging yet playable for all levels. The course is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views of the Essex River and the surrounding salt marshes that make every round feel special. The scenery alone is worth the visit, especially on the signature holes overlooking the marsh. It has a super relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that keeps you coming back. After your round, the Fairway Pub is the perfect place to unwind. The food is consistently delicious, whether you're stopping in for a sandwich, seafood, or just a drink on the deck overlooking the first tee. It's a wonderful spot to hang out. But what really sets Cape Ann apart, are the people! The Stavros family has owned and operated the club and their pride in the course is evident in everything they do. The owners and the staff, make everyone feel like family from the moment you arrive. Come check it out. You won't want to leave!

This review is only for the mini golf and no food or drinks…read more Came here for a family outing and it was super fun! It's cool how modern and interesting the course is. Also super cool how tech savvy it all is as the sensors remember who is playing and how many moves you've made. There were three 9 hole courses. Each one was unique. We came in the middle of the day on a Saturday and the waits weren't too bad but I can foresee this getting a bit busy as the night wears on. Some people complain about the wait time but that comes with putt putt territory. Sometimes you get lucky and you're surrounded by small groups. Sometimes a big crowd of kids are in front of you so you wait a lot. To me that is just putt putt. There were lots of TVs so I can see this being a great place to watch a game and have a drink! Or maybe even date night. Fun for all ages. Can't comment on parking as we walked here.

There wasn't much direction, and no one to guide us where to go. We figured out the kiosk ourselves and eventually made it to golfing. The courses are fun, but every shelf and table was littered with empty drink glasses and beer bottles from previous groups (anyone here ever heard of a ROUND?). My biggest gripe was the bar closing early, and staff already preparing and cleaning the course while we were still playing. They seemed noticeably frustrated that we were there, even though this was about half an hour before their posted closing time. Being in hospitality, that behavior gave off serious "please leave so we can call it a night" energy from basically everyone working. To the managers/owners: if you don't want people there until 10, close at 9. We paid a lot of money for this experience, and thank you for showing our team what not to do. 2 stars for the game and the concept, zero for hospitality and execution. GET IT TOGETHER.
