Beware: Bassett delivery people will take pictures inside your house without your knowledge or consent! I ordered a bed in January. It was delivered in mid-February. I received a voicemail from the sales associate that helped me purchase the bed on March 13th, letting me know that the beds look great with the rug in my bedroom. I called back to see how she knows what my bedroom looks like and was told the delivery team took a picture and sent it to her. I never authorized a picture to be taken or shared by Bassett furniture. I was told by the assistant store manager that it's Bassett's policy to take pictures and someone should have told me. I find this to be a complete invasion of privacy and just down right creepy! The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because so far we love the bed. But because of our experience, we won't be back. read more

I just wanted to say thank you to Theresa the manager at Bassett. We went to the Bassett store on the north side only to have a bad experience. But definitely not here even though we knew what we wanted she took the time on the phone to work with us to make sure we got the right order that we wanted. Reaching a live person on the phone is difficult for a general question. For a nice store, they shouldn't put potential customers through voice mail He**...especially if you are just calling to see if they are open on a holiday. read more

We purchased a lot of funiture and some expensive Hunter Douglas blinds from this store. The furniture worked fine. However, I don't think they should be selling blinds. Even though the furniture is okay, I'm giving them a low rating because they blind installation and a recent service request were horrible. It took multiple months to have the blinds installed and working properly. Recently one of the blinds stopped working and we contacted them about warranty service (less than a year). We were advised to contact Hunter Douglas direct. That was fine by us, but after contacting Hunter Douglas directly they advised that I had to take it back to the supplier for them to send if to be repaired/replaced and that Bassett should know that. Hunter Douglas advised they would contact Bassett Furniture and have them handle properly. After a couple of days of trying, Hunter Douglas contacted me and advised that Bassett Furniture was not helpful and would not even returns their calls. Hunter Douglas contacted another supplier in the area, Creative Blinds, who graciously agreed to facilitate the warranty return for us. We tried to contacted Bassett again to talk to a manger and were pushed off. Clearly not customer focused after they get the money. read more

Just visited this location today (10/20/18) at 3pm. There was less than 10 cars in the lot and I saw very little customers in the store. Despite not being busy at all and walking past several Basset employees, I was never welcomed or offered any assistance. I guess I'll head over to Gallery Furniture where I'm guaranteed good customer service. read more

Everything was perfect. I appreciated that our sales person left us alone on the floor to look around and checked in with us rather than pushed us into buying something. She was also very helpful with tips. The delivery guys were amazing. Very polite and speedy. My furniture was delivered and set up in record time. I was even given instructions for future moves. The Brentwood bed itself is beautiful and we are really happy with it. The sales staff was less than knowledgeable as a matter of fact I had to tell her a number of times that in fact Bassett does carry the Brentwood bed after she told me they didn't carry it. I finally had her go online and she saw it. I spoke with two different women and both were very rude. I was a bit surprised as I was an excited buyer and knew what I wanted so I am unsure of why they had poor attitudes. The delivery of the bed was easy and on time. The delivery people were nice enough but a bit careless and we found some screws lying on the rug when they were done; sure hope those were spare parts. We went in to the store knowing exactly which product we wanted. Sales person was just OK and said he would follow up with us within a couple of weeks as to delivery time, etc. We never heard back from him. The bed was delivered outside of the delivery time frame we were given. What we received was an upholstered headboard and wooden footboard - they didn't match! I contacted the store and they recommended having the bed set up as is and ordering a new part. I had to follow up with them to determine when the new part would be delivered. A few weeks later the new part was delivered. Again, the part was delivered outside of the time frame given. The bed is beautiful, but it should not squeak every single time someone rolls over, sits down or even gets up and walks across the room (this has happened). read more

"The furniture is of excellent quality and just what we wanted. Our delivery experience couldn't have been better. Our custom order was delivered in less than 30 days, and we had a follow up call from our salesperson halfway through the 30 days to let us know that everything was on schedule. She also sent us a personal thank you note that was much appreciated. The only area for improvement would be in design services. We bought a whole living room, but I didn't feel as though the designer looked at the room as a whole. For example, the club chair I bought is a little undersized compared to the couch.
