Asked them for help with the best suggestion for a water softener to care deeply for appliances that are new, and gave a few suggestions and information on the Houston area needs for home care, given we moved from CA. Delivery- 4/5 The positive: Communicative and called ahead of time to let us know they were 30 mins away. What needs improvement: The delivery men mentioned that they were NOT given the correct tools to finish the job of leveling out the panels on the fridge or what was needed for installation of the fridge upon delivery, because they "switched delivery trucks on them". Unfortoley, that leaves us the customer, waiting for them to come back and finish the job they were paid for. It's been a week, and we are still waiting for them to come back and level out the panels on the fridge. This is either the delivery men's lack of preparation before delivery or the owners' lack of structure to ensure delivery has what they need for all to go as needed. read more

I purchased a refrigerator from Katy Discounted Appliances in February and had such a good experience that when I needed a new washer/dryer in June...I went to see them again. This second experience is why I am writing this review. Not everything in this life is perfect, but how a company responses to an issue can turn an unfortunate event into a great experience. When I say that this group of individuals really care about customer satisfaction, it feels like an understatement. They were amazing! Quick response time, fast problem resolution, and all done with a smile. If you want to avoid the stress often associated with buying appliances go to Katy Discounted Appliance! we've had so much going on the last few months too much dimension so when we needed a refrigerator also, I went to this place cause they were open on Sunday when we got there they were extremely nice very accommodating and very empathetic. We could ask for a better place to buy a new slightly dented refrigerator they delivered that day. The delivery people were great. I recently purchased a washer and dryer set from these awesome guys. Their product and customer service have been nothing short of amazing. The purchase was handled with no pressure, and the price was more than fair. There were 2 issues after delivery that they handled immediately and without delay. In the initial delivery, the dryer was wired incorrectly which caused the cord to burn out. They immediately replaced the dryer, not just the cord, the entire dryer ! ! It was then discovered that due to the cord burn out, the outlet for the dryer had been damaged, which required an electrician. I sent them a quote and they immediately sent me the funds to make the repair. I now have a high quality washer and dryer with no issues and I didn't have to take out a mortgage to afford it! We had an unfortunate bad experience. We were closing on our home and our lender would not allow us to make a big purchase. Thankfully Katy Discounted Appliances allowed us to put a down payment on appliances. They kept pushing our closing and so we let them know everytime they pushed it either thru text or on the phone when a lady called us asking us for delivery information. Unfortunately the weekend before our closing had finally become official our son had a psychological medical issue and we could not reply to them that we would go Monday after our closing since we were at the emergency room with him. We called a few days later after we closed and found out they sold our appliance to someone else. They wanted us to pick something else. But we didn't want something else we wanted the appliance we chose or our money back. Since they could not give me the appliance, I begged them a few times even told them the situation with my son and then they just ghosted us. Very sad that they would sell our fridge but even more sad that they care less about the people who are their customers. All we want is our deposit back at this point, but I doubt we will get it back. Sad that they put Katy in their name as this is not the Katy way. read more
