They just did our new home garage and took down old closets and repainted the inside. Super professional. Before the job started, they laid out exact schedule and what would be done each day. Owner was accommodating to do a few small holes around the house. Our garage floor also for epoxy flooring and it looks beautiful with the gloss. We had been working on our staircase remodel and needed to paint and stain the stair treads to match our floor. We wanted our home to be modern and the stairs (a floating glass wall staircase) was the major project in our house. Our floor is White Euro oak and the treads were also Euro oak but bare wood. I thought it would be difficult to make it similar to match our nice floor. However, Nico came and worked in our garage to find the right color and finished the job beautifully in 3 days. About a year ago, at the recommendation of a friend who is a realtor and uses Basurto Painting for clients who wish to repaint before they sell their homes,we used Basurto Painting to do the exterior of our home, the kitchen cabinets and our interior doors. They did a fantastic job! Particularly impressive were the preparation (more than the time of actual painting) and the clean rooms they set up in the garage to do the sanding and painting of the cabinet door. We recently added a new bathroom to our home, and the painting done by the contractor involved was terrible. We called Basurto, and they repainted beautifully, correcting all the mistakes of the bathroom contractor. We ended up having them paint the interior, including walls, ceiling, baseboards and crown molding. And the piece de resistance - when we expressed a desire to modernize the fireplace mantel- as part of the team, they had a marvelous carpenter who built a totally new fireplace mantel and facade. Nico, the owner, and his crew are the ultimate professionals. They arrived early, worked a fully day, with no standing around, and cleaned up everyday. They always did their best not to inconvenience us. Nico is great to work with and offered several suggestions which we happily incorporated. And they are all just nice people. When you need work done on your home, you really want to trust the team that does it. I felt trust the entire process from the (very fair) quote to the finishing of the paint job for an entire condo. Nico was quick to respond to messages and was clear in communication. When he came by for a quote, he was extremely professional and respectful of the home. We had met with several other painting companies, but the vibe was just not the same. With Nico, I just felt that I wouldn't need to worry about anything, and that everything would be taken care of. My husband and I have tricky work schedules, on top of having a lot of furniture already in the home, but Nico and his team never made it feel like this would be a problem. The team showed up promptly each day (8am on the dot), set up, moved things out of the way, and completed the work. They were organized and kept everything very clean. We hired Nico for a combination of indoor and outdoor painting. It's been close to a year since the work was completed, and it still looks awesome! He and a small crew of 1-2 guys caulked / sealed and re-painted all of our exterior columns and porch ceilings. They also repaired small areas of damage to several interior walls and moldings, and a few doors, and re-painted those as well. This was my first experience with Basurto Painting and I will definitely hire them again. I had recently had carpet removed from my house and new vinyl waterproof planking installed with new baseboards throughout my house by a large so called reputable flooring company who did a horrible job. My baseboards were uneven with large gaps around 2 patio door casements, front door and back door, horrible uneven caulking, nails sticking out. Nico Basurto came out and assured me all was fixable. His carpenter, Rodrigo was able to find casing that matched mine, cut and fit pieces meticulously, and his painter Julio caulked, filled in gaps, and did a great painting job. Nico is always prompt and on time, keeps in touch, very nice, very knowledgeable with no pressure. This was a 3 day job and his team were prompt and on time too, very respectful, very hard working and cleaned up each day. Nico and his team were outstanding. We had asked them to paint all the walls of our home, so this was a pretty big job and we also asked them to work on a tight deadline. They managed to get everything done at the highest level of professionalism with no delays. We were absolutely amazed by the result. The walls look amazing and the paint they recommended matches the ceiling paint perfectly (which is what we wanted). The house now looks bright, luminous and airy. After having lived a few days in the house, we have still not noticed anything that was off, which is pretty exceptional for a paint job (there is usually always a little corner that has something off, but this time everything is just perfect). I hired Nicanor Basurto to refinish my almost thirty year-old kitchen cabinets. He and his crew of three [family and friend] exceeded my expectations. They were on time every day for eleven days, stayed all day, and cleaned up before they left. Each cabinet door, front and back, and drawer was sanded down by handed; the work was tedious and dusty. They took great care in prepping the area, both the kitchen and the garage where they did the sanding. Great care was also taken to put everything back into place.
