He was very clear on what they would provide (which included some window sill/frame replacement where the wood was in bad shape). And his proposal was very competitive. They were very efficient. I don't remember exactly how long it took, but it was done in a very timely manner. The work was good and Edvin was very serious about making sure everything was right. There was issue with the job (nothing that could be construed as Edvin's fault). Without any hesitation, he came out to make it right. We had vertical hairline cracks up the wall every couple feet and discovered that instead of sheet rock, the wall was painted wood panels. After a failed DIY attempt to resolve the issue ourselves, we called Rodolfo who came and offered solid short term and long term options on how to get a smooth look. Once we decided to work together, he worked quickly and efficiently, getting our requested paint, prepping the room, and leaving everything just as he had found it. We had to get our walls repiped so we had a bunch of open holes in the walls, along with a bunch of dings in the walls from where the plumbers were careless. One room also had textured walls while the rest of the house has smoothed walls. EJ Painting was really flexible, and was willing to work with us even though we had to put off the job a bit to wait for permits to go through. When things were finally able to start, everybody was super professional and kind. I could tell by the way they taped things up that they were really paying attention to detail. I request quote from multiple source, but EJ paint provide a great quote and they agree to patch all the holes at no additional cost. I have 3 bedroom, a living and dining room, a garage and 1 bathroom to paint. EJ paint send one of his employees the day before to prep for the work and prime the wall. I have 2 bedroom with plaster wall and one bathroom with plaster wall and they well able to prime it and paint it well. The job two two days to paint the house, but I'm very happy with the job that EJ paint perform. My house now look great and the job was done very well. EJ quoted a fixed price over Yelp (love that) and based on their good reviews and competitive price, I chose them. They didn't have the no-VOC primer I wanted and so I agreed to purchase that and we chose a date. The painter arrived a little early and got right to work. Along the way, he asked me to review his work, which I appreciated. I asked for some more extensive sanding of the old paint to make sure the next coat of paint wouldn't peel. He did it, no problem. Another update to my original review from 2021. Edvin and his team at EJ Painting are absolutely the best painters and actually, the best contractors and people I have ever worked with at our home. Edvin is true to his word when he says that his results are guaranteed and I have never worked with anyone as honest, professional, and hardworking as Edvin and his team (Misael and the rest of the crew). In short, our doors looked great after Edvin and his team refinished them in 2021. However, during the rains this year (2022/2023), we noticed some issues with our front doors. I called Edvin and he came right out to evaluate and diagnosed the problem and provided a temporary solution to seal the doors and protect them from the rain. It worked very well and protected the doors during the heavy rains this year. Then Edvin kept in contact with me and just last week started working to refinish the areas that were affected. They have been very thoughtful on their recommendations to help enhance the protection for the doors in the future and have always been extremely pleasant to me and my family. I truly enjoy working with Edvin and his team (especially Misael) and give them my highest recommendation! They have done the exterior of my home including colored stucco. They continued with the inside of my home with slight different colors and the blend was done to perfection. The crown mounding and doors of my home were re-done as well. All the scratches from my dogs and scrapes are gone and the doors look brand new.
