We Visited Batch for the first time on Friday night and loved it! We arrived around 9pm and it was quiet as we were the only customers. The two employees were helpful and polite and we sampled a few of the more unusual flavors before deciding on our ice cream choices. I sampled the Brown Sugar Bourbon & Pecan and it was so delicious that I went with a combination of that and chocolate chip cookie dough in a house-made waffle cone. It was all so good - especially loved the house-made waffle cone. It was one of the best I've had - thick, crunchy, and delicious. Best of all, icecream didn't drip out the bottom of the cone as has happened to me with house made cones in other places. Prices were reasonable and Batch is located in a really nice shopping plaza with plenty of parking. We'll be back! read more

Simply the best! Ginger flavor with bits of candied ginger is out of this world. Green Tea is very grown-up. Vanilla is pure vanilla. All three taste homemade with only pure ingredients. They explicitly avoid gums (like xanthin and carrageenan) A rarity nowadays. This used to be carried in the local BigY supermarkets but no longer. Why I don't know but it is missed. read more

Stopped in after dinner and had a chocolate chili combination ice cream (forgot the flavor name) with marshmallow. Ordered a small and felt that I got gypped out on my portion. The lady scooping had a very difficult time getting the ice cream out. I jokingly, but wasn't , offered to throw gloves on and scoop it my self. The service was amazing! The two people working were very informative about their flavors and answered any questions we asked. The place was super cute and the ice cream was delicious. I went with the classic hot fudge Sunday with vanilla ice cream (and some gummy bears), my partner had a peanut butter Sunday with cookie dough ice cream. It was so good and creamy we didn't even get to take a picture. One of the best ice cream spots in Western MA, and they make their own ice cream! read more

I was excited to try Batch Ice Cream, but my experience was disappointing. When it was clearly my turn, I stood waiting while four employees avoided eye contact and said nothing. Meanwhile, people behind me were helped and paid before I did. I get that things can get hectic, but I felt completely dismissed. It's hard to enjoy a place when the service makes you feel invisible. read more

Staff in the store and in the truck are friendly and patient. it takes me a minute or two to decide, I'm working on trying all flavors, I love that you can get a small sample. The ice cream is not bad, it's handmade from what I was told, and it does taste good. However, the store and the community can be unwelcoming to others who do not look like them. Their noses are up in the air as if they don't use the bathroom like everyone else. I love getting ice cream here. They have a great selection of flavors including vegan ice cream. They have amazing toppings and great service. I love seeing what monthly creations they make. You can take your ice cream to go or eat it there at one of their tables they have out front. read more

A little pricey but worth it for the different flavors you will enjoy. I fell in love with the Coconut Joy, but must say that I am disappointed for the 2 little scoops I received though on these hot days this cool flavor hit the spot. I also like how the displays are separated for those who have peanut allergies and also aim for Vegan choices. Next time I will buy a large and be greedy. New ice cream stop! Came for running shoes with the neighbor and was happy to find a new ice cream place in the plaza! Limited flavor selection, with half made by Batch, the other half made by another company, which is strange. I had the brown sugar pecan & bourbon.... nice consistency but flavor could've been stronger. Appreciate the free sprinkles!! Amazing !!! I found this ice cream at our local grocery store and it was absolutely insanely good better than Häagen-Dazs. They make a banana walnut ice cream that's one the best ice creams I have ever had. The flavor profile is just perfect. It's almost like flambéed, bananas cooked right in front you kind of flavor. The hand mix some of there flavors the salted Carmel is also just amazing flavor profile. Taste like someone was taking sugar in a copper pot and caramelizing it and then mixing it with ice cream. Not taking a jar of premade industrial Carmel and adding to ice cream. Obviously both taste good with ice cream but one is just special. A must try for ice aficionados. read more

The ice cream was so good! I had the cookie dough kind which was very good and the cookie dough chunks were a good size. The best part about it was that they always give out sprinkles for free! I got it and they were very good (everything tastes better free :) Also, the service was amazing. I walked in and was greeted immediately by a very kind woman that helped us with whatever we needed. She let us try multiple ice creams before landing on one. The environment was very good. There were tables to sit and a giant beautiful mural beside us while we ate. They had other merchandise up for sale such as t shirts earrings and more. This is not a biased report at all, this is all honest. I would 100% recommend to go there if you want a very good ice cream experience. 5 stars. read more

The workers were so nice and so wonderful and I trusted their recommendation which was the mint chocolate chunk one and it's so good. The ice cream has a ton of flavor, though selection is relatively limited. If you like any of the flavors they do have, though- you're in luck. The black raspberry with raspberry sauce and fudge in a homemade waffle cone is my go-to, and it is utterly fabulous. I'm a big fan and looking forward to seeing more flavors in the future. read more
