I had the lunch tour. It was better than I had expected. The food was delicious and the waiter kept my glassed poured up with wine. It seemed a little pricey at first but it was worth every Euro. I had a *very* disappointing experience on the Bateaux Parisiens. I'm french and have been living in Paris for a while. - I purchased a special "Incollables" version of the trip, for my children , which basically consisted of nothing but a plastic strip of questions on the river; no special commentary, no instructions, no guidance at all. - If you want to listen to any commentary at all, you have to be inside, quite low down, which makes it impossible to see very much. This means that if you want to enjoy the whole beauty of being on the outdoor deck and actually see the monuments and Paris, you can't listen to the commentary/guide. In effect you have to choose between listening and seeing, which is a real pity. - The toilets were filthy at the very beginning of the cruise. - There is no difference AT ALL in the line between those who went to the trouble of buying their tickets in advance and those who buy right before the cruise - you board at the same time, and if you're not first, ou might not get a seat. - The website says "every 30 min" during the summer, but that's not true: there is a "lunch break" of one hour during the middle of the day. No boat trips between 12 - 1:30! - The cruise map on the Incollables ticket we were given was not respected; we did not turn around after the replica Statue of Liberty. Not serious in and of itself but very representative of the corner-cutting and general disregard of this tour company. The scenery is indeed beautiful, but you can get that experience on the Batobus or the Bateaux Mouches. Next time I'm in Paris with my children, we will look elsewhere for a boat tour! read more

Terrible experience. Staff is extremely rude. Waited ten minutes to redeem Paris Pass while all three ticket booth attendants attempted to figure out the online passes of the person ahead of us only to be told we missed our boat. We were left standing at the entrance and staff didn't even apologize or tell us we had missed the boat. The worse part of it all was that there were dozens of empty seats left as the boat pulled away. After returning 30 minutes later (when we were told to return), we were once again left on the side without being allowed to board as the staff stood idly by without saying anything. Would not recommend this tour to anyone. read more

This was a horrible experience. Staff was extremely rude. First, their incompetence at the ticket counter caused us to miss a boat, and they wouldn't wait for a minute for us to board, notwithstanding that there were many seats available. They told us when to come back for another boat, and we arrived at that time, but then we were the first in line to miss the boat AGAIN. They refused to help, and they didn't even have the decency to tell us and others in line that we'd AGAIN have to wait for another boat, nor how long we'd have to wait. I'd avoid coming and I'll tell others I know to avoid at all costs. It's not worth it, given how many other attractions there are in Paris. read more

We took a family holiday to Paris from the States and decided to spend big on a dinner cruise based on the recommendation of others who have been. This cruise was expensive, $747.83 for 4 people. If you're like me you don't expect waitstaff to move heaven and earth for you just because your paying for dinner. But, I also don't expect to be treated with outright hostility and arrogance after paying $747.83 for dinner. Not what I expect but that's what I got from these people. The food was okay, not terrible not great. The boat was nice and we had good views. Also the on board entertainment was surprisingly good. But all that was ruined by the horrible customer service. Also, didn't seem like an aberration. The staff that gets people on board were curt ad abrasive. The waitstaff was inattentive and scoffed when we would ask for additional drinks (that we would pay for). They scolded us for daring to pour our own wine. I mean, honestly they were so rude we basically were able to laugh it off due to how absurd it was. Naturally we couldn't walk out since it is on a boat and you pre-pay. Strongly recommend spending your money at a nice restaurant and walking along the river instead. read more

I decided to take the 8:30pm night cruise because I was told it is an absolute must that you take a river cruise at night in Paris. I thought this being my first trip to Paris that I would go all out. You first have to check in to get your official tickets to know what boat you will be leaving on. Once on board I was escorted to my seat. The cruise started on time. I was enjoying the music and looking at the night time sights out of the window. That was when I noticed people were eating and drinking. There wasn't a single waiter to come by and take my order. Anyway I got up from my nice comfortable spot to inform a waiter that I had not been served at all. The manager eventually came by and said that nobody could see me and sat me in another section. I was offered champagne in addition to the white wine that I had ordered. So far so good. After that the service was good and the food was good. I also did notice that the photographer never came by to take my picture even when I was sitting in the section where I could be seen. I don't know if being a single female on a "romantic cruise" made me the invisible woman or were there other factors at play. If I were to do another dinner cruise I can say that I would not choose this company. I don't feel as though the level of service is on par with the amount of money that I paid. read more

We like cruises and had heard about Seine river dinner cruises. The review were quite mixed, so again, I didn't know if this would be an expensive mistake. I will say we were extremely impressed all around. The experience is well managed from the moment you step on the gangplank, through the check in and throughout the dining experience. We had a lovely window table, which I would recommend paying extra for and/or paying for the tables at the front of the boat. We chose a cruise that had live music, which truly added to the experience. I was a bit nervous about the potential dinner choices as it is a 3 course meal. However there were choices and the food turned out to be excellent, well prepared and substantial servings. As part of the 3 courses we had a bottle of champagne, white and red wine. It is absolutely a lovely experience, a great way to see some of the Paris sights since the cruise goes by many historic landmarks beginning and ending at the Eiffel Tower. I would highly recommend Bateaux Parisiens. read more

We pre booked this tourist activity in Canada. Lunch cruise was a good value at $77. Cdn. / person. We had a very pleasant cruise up & down the Seine. Easy to identify the landmarks & sights with the map given at boarding. They couldnt upgrade our seating to the window side b/ c it was full. Picture opportunity was poor b/ c of glass or plexiglass enclosure & its reflection but it was an ok view from inside seating. Meet some nice people from Maryland USA next to us. Very relaxing cruise. Lots of wine or sparkling water provided. I had the rump steak w garlic mash. Escargot & ice cream. I liked my meal. My wife had veal ,stewed vegetables ,escargot & fruit. She said her veal was dry & tough. The coffee cream pot looked as to be the best & most interesting dessert but I read a pot of coffee w cream & passed that up. Very good service . Entertainment was a very talented singer & he played several instruments and he was very calming & did not detract from the sightseeing. A very fun & romantic cruise. read more

The boat trip was great, the food was nice enough but don't get fooled by the photograph. I told him i would buy two pics under the conditions to get a soft version. I was told that i could get them free of charge by buying the hard versions (15 euros per pic) on the boat and then send an email to "photos du monde" mentioning the name of the boat, date, hour of the trip along with a pic of the pics. The soft versions would then be sent to me back by email. Alas! After i sent the email i was told that i had to pay an extra 5 euro per pic in order to receive the soft copies. I told them i had never been told that and their only reply was "could you please give us a description of the photograph?". Needless to say that i wasn't impressed! I have never received the soft versions nor even an apology. read more

Are you from the US? Do you think this is going to be worth $300 a plate? Better think it through. For us, it was not. We had a party of 10 taking the premium cruise (that's $3500 for dinner). We found the experience so-so - definitely not worth the money. The waiter was rushed, unfriendly, and genuinely incompetent. He paid no attention to us. We were the last to be served, and 30 minutes into the meal we had to ask him for a bottle opener so we could open the wine since he apparently was not going to do it For $3500!!!. At the end of the meal he brusquely presented us with a bill for $50 in additions (drinks and up charges for appetizers). He could not get his credit card machine to work (supposedly) and after swiping my card 3 times; declared the card no good. Which was very strange since the vendor selling pictures (yes you will have your pictures taken to record the memorable experience like an amusement park ride which they will try to sell you prints of at the end of the dinner) had no problem charging the card. Anyway, I gave him cash only to find out later that all of his charge attempts on my card had been processed... Take a 20 Euro sight seeing tour and spend your money at a real good land based restaurant like Le Fumoir (truly great). You'll see more, have better food, and pay less.... read more

the best time to do the cruise is around 10 pm so you get to see the eiffel tower lights at 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm - i did the cruise (without the dinner) and it basically describes all the bridges with some history - I've done it twice and i would do it again! read more

As our last night in Paris, my friend and I decided to take the night sightseeing cruise. The cruise is nice, but the "security guards" were just absolutely rude. When first walking in, my friend just said we wanted to buy tickets and so rudely the security guard replied "um hello where are you from ?" when we said New Yorke he ROLLED his eyes and said open your bag. So unprofessional, followed by the next security guard whom we asked where the exist was and he said this area doesn't move only the boat. All I thought to myself was Clearly Sir I am not dumb I just wanted to know how to exist the area since there was no real sign saying exist or sortie. When we returned for the cruise at night BOTH security guards said "oh its you two again" followed by saying "Americans". As two females we felt very degraded and disrespected. There was absolutely no reason for them to treat us in such a way. Although the views were nice, we will never return. read more

This place left such a bad impression on me I would never recommend it to anyone . My husband and I planned a romantic dinner and we're all dressed up for our honeymoon . He was going to surprise me with a gift he got me at LV on the cruise . We left our hotel at 7:00 so not to be late for the 8:30 cruise . Traffic was so horrible that we had our taxi driver call the boat to see if they were leaving rt at 8:30 . She was very nice on the phone and spoke to us in English and reassured us that they would wait until 8:40 for us . I guess because it was Friday and they had Olympic demonstration and air show so we were biting our nails and driving like a mad persons to get there . I ran from the taxi in my six inch heels and was so excited that we made it by 8:35 and the boat was still there . Until we tried to board and they said no !!! It's too late . I told them we just spoke with them less then 10 mins ago . They didn't care at all I burst into tears with the disappointment of this part of our honeymoon being ruined . We had reserved the most expensive area for dinner and spent 40 EU on a taxi that broke every rule to get us there . They didn't even show any emotion just cold hatred and mean . They would never make it in the USA treating clients like that . Terrible workers at the entrance to the boat . This dinner boat cruise was the best thing about my trip to Paris! The service was top notch. The live music was just right, and the service was great! It is a bit pricey, and the portions are not huge, but the overall experience is great! I had the cauliflower soup for the starters, duck for the main course, and lemon tart for desert! All three meals were excellent. The views were beyond amazing at night! The only downfall is if you are looking to take pictures it's better to take the day cruise. The sightseeing was amazing at night, but a bit difficult to take pictures. The cruise is about 2 hours long and passes by all the main landmarks! Notre Dam, Opera House, Eiffel Tower just to name a few of the sights! There was a couple right next to us which had a proposal occur, which made the cruise very much more romantic! We went in November, and it was freezing. Be sure if you are going to take pictures on the deck to keep warm! I would love to experience the cruise again, especially in the day time! read more

nightmare dinner cruise...dress code varies with staff opinion of each customer...some admitted in converse hi-top sneakers, some in faded and torn jeans...I was denied due to my orthoepedic shoes!!! Stay away...there are several other dinner cruise boats in the same area. read more
