I booked the dinner cruise with my best friend and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. The service and food were amazing. It was so beautiful with jazz playing. We got to see the Eiffel Tower up close and it was so magical when it sparkled!!! It was a real treat. I would recommend doing this once in your life!

Would recommend! The river dinner cruise is both a unique and elevated experience. You get great views with a great meal. The food was excellent across the board from appetizer to entree to dessert. The staff are pleasant. There's a bathroom onboard.

Let me start by staying we had a great experience doing our dinner cruise with Le Calife. If you are coming to Paris it's a must for us and we did the Menu Royal tier which was 139 euros. i will say that does sound pricy but the food and great and the views/experience is amazing. Once we boarded we were quickly seated and given a welcome glass of Champagne as well as some very tasty cheesy bread bites. The staff was extremely helpful and made sure to break down the 3 course menu. Per 2 people you also get to pick from a bottle of wine. The lighter tier gives you a bottle of Champagne. When going over the starters there was a lot that sounded very good. Now I was in Paris so I had to get something I can't get often here and that was the Foie Gras which was very good. It just melts in you mouth and is full of fatty flavor. Ashley got the Chanterelles which was a Puff Pastry of Chanterelles with Foie Gras and Morel Mushroom Sauce. That was also amazing and for sure something to get if you're just not ready to eat Foie Gras by it's self. Now the main course meal was just as good in my eyes as the starters menu. Lot's of great sounding mains but at the end of the day I had to go with the Beef Tenderloin cooked medium of course and it also comes topped with Foie Gras. They are going to make you try it whether you like it or not. My Filet was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The Foie Gras on top was also even more melty then the starter one. The veggies, potatoes, and the sauce really pulled the the whole dish together, amazing. For my dessert I went with the Paris Cheesecake which is Lemon Cheesecake, Lemon Cream, Limoncello and Lemon Sorbet. Clearly if you are a fan of lemon this is the dessert for you. All if it was great and I also enjoyed putting some of the Limoncello on my Cheesecake. Like a said above we had an amazing dinner and experience for sure sometime that should be checked out!

I stumbled across the Calife while searching for the perfect place to celebrate a birthday on my most recent trip to Paris. Even though the prices are somewhat steep, the great reviews led me to book a table -- and we were in for a treat! We were sitting in the lower deck by the bar with just two other couples and the ambiance was superb like out of a movie. We had unmatched views on the Eiffel Tower or the Notre Dame. The food was incredible and some of the best I had in a while. The champagne and wine was delicious and there were a couple of nice touches, like bread refills or a birthday candle on the cake, that made this a perfect evening on the Seine!

We had a spectacular experience with Le Calife. Yes, they are expensive than other dinner cruises around the area, but their service lives up to that standard. Their Verandah seating is definitely the best option with a glass top, but we got the terrace seating which was equally beautiful with some outdoor space to admire the beauty of Seine river and Paris by the night. Food absolutely hits the spot and our server Amadoo was very friendly and attentive. We got the Foie gras, Butternut and pumpkin, and Chanterelles for our starters followed by The lamb, Beef tenderloin, and a very tasty Quinoa and lentils and finished off with The tarte Tatin and Chocolate for desserts. Food overall was excellent and very very flavorful. They also time the return journey at the top of the hour so you don't miss the sparkling lights of the iconic Eiffel Tower leaving you on a very high and happy note. Highly recommend this cruise to anyone who is looking for a more private experience at a relatively affordable price!

We tried this dinner cruise on the Seine and had an amazing time ! It's a very unique experience. Booked online. On arrival the interior of this Bateaux Mouche had cozy private dining tables in a relaxing atmosphere. Great date or family evening. Service was fast and friendly. Full drink menu and great selection of mocktails. This is a prix fixe meal and you get a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. Tried the smoked salmon gravlox, foie gras, sea bass, duck confit and cheese plate. Everything tasted great. The boat goes around then Seine and at one point you can see the Eiffel Tower light up. Good choice of desserts. Overall fantastic dinner cruise a must see in Paris.

It was a cold and drizzly Saturday (Samedi) evening when we crossed Pont des Arts after exiting the Louvre metro station and descended the old world stone stairs to the Seine riverside walk and across the ship's gangway into the warm and inviting veranda where our white linen table awaited us. If you're looking to make romantic memories with your sweetheart, this will do, donkey... this will do. For 149 Euros per person, we received the Menu Royal boissons comprises experience, which started our with a welcoming glass of champagne and these delightful small balls of cheesy bread as we perused our special menu. For appetizers, my sweetheart chose the Grilled prawns with gomasio, with a yuzu avocado and mango cream... a good choice if you're ready to get your fingers dirty. I went with the Puff pastry of chanterelles with foie gras and morel sauce... a good choice if you like mushroom. We both ordered the same entree, Beef fillet à la Rossini, which is a Rossini sauce, pan-seared foie gras, gratin dauphinois, with seasonal vegetables. We ordered it medium, but it came how they wanted to cook it, which was between a rare and medium rare. The included bottle of Domaine Perreal Le Jas, a French shiraz, paired well with everything! And for dessert, we enjoyed the chocolate lava cake, dizzled with a custard my shizzle, and lined with a vanilla ice cream from Madagascar. We also had a Revisited tarte tatin with a measure of Calvados. Yes, the food was a great experience, but the ambiance was so much more. Seeing the sparkling iron lady from our seats in a Seine waterway vessel was surreal, and we will always be grateful for our blessings. Thank you, Le Calife.

It was suppose to be one of the highlights of our trip. It was prob the lowest. By lowest, they sat us in the worst location on the boat. Completely facing a blocked wall. It had painted glass but really should have been clear glass for a dinner cruise boat. The food was 3/5. Few hits and misses. Cocktail- good. Alcohol and non were both good. The non alcohol was a raspberry smoothie or something. The waiter could not tell us what they were though. Cheese bread app- similar to Brazilian cheese bread- good Apps: pate came with sweet shallot chutney and gingerbread. The gingerbread did not complement the pate and was super hard. I feared it would crack a tooth. The accompanying jam was okay. Very sweet. The smoked salmon was iffy. Needed some capers or something else. Not sure if the salmon was even fresh. The meal: sea bass was good. The celery puree was sweet and not good. The duck confit was very good and moist with a good mushroom sauce. Dessert: iced nougat- not good at all Lava Choco cake- very good. Overall the experience was not worth the cost. It is an older crowd so we did not fit in well. Our seating was the worst on the boat. The boat had too many blind spots. It had a lot of wood structure vs other boats having more glass windows. Music was relative quiet and boring. We chose this due to reviews of the food being great, we were underwhelmed. Two stars for half of the food was okay to good. The atmosphere 1 star.

La calife was a very memorable experience! Between floating on the Seine and "our welcome glasses of champagne, we also purchased the a wine option which includes a bottle of wine for per 2 people. The Foie Gras puffed pastry appetizer, and duck liver with ginger crackers were wonderful. The main dish of steak with the Foi Gras and potatoes was very delicious with a side of sauce. The lamb shank was tender and flavorful. We greatly enjoyed the desserts of calvados tart and the lemon cheesecake. Sightseeing on the seine was also wonderful. We especially enjoyed seeing the Eiffel tower twinkling at us in the night. All in all a wonderful evening

Experience: 5/5 - This was a lovely dinner cruise, the boat was covered in glass windows, so every seat had a beautiful view of the river at all times. The staff was kind and welcoming. Also, the dinner ride is perfectly lined up with seeing the eiffel tower sparkle, making it a truly magical evening. Food: 3/5 - The cruise has two menus, both with a drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert, but one menu had an extra drink and a larger menu selection. We went with the cheaper of the two, as the other would cost us about $125 more, which didn't seem justifiable. For appetizers, we got foie gras and salmon gravlax, neither or which we enjoyed- to be fair we've never had foie gras, so not sure if we'd like it anywhere. The salmon was fine, but the sauce/ cheese with it was not great. For mains, we got the sea bass and yellow chicken supreme. The chicken was excellent- the highlight of the night! The bass was average, nothing special. For dessert, we got the iced nougat and the Moelleux au chocolate, both were delicious!

If you are looking for a most memorable dining experience look no further than Le Calife. This was an incredible experience. Dining 5 stars while cruising the Seine at night with all Paris alit at Christmas time and to put the icing on the cake as we turned and approached the Eiffel Tower it began to Sparkle. What perfect timing. The menu Royal offers great choices and everything on the menu is presented beautifully and tastes excellent. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. The cruise part is very comfortable and goes at a nice slow pace. You are never rushed. The entire time lasted almost 3 hours.

We were pre warned about over priced mediocre dinner cruises except for this one which came highly recommended. So glad we did. We were wait listed but they were able to accommodate us and was a perfect evening. The boat has great ambiance and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. Had the prawn and foie gras appetizers which were delicious. As the boat drifted down the Seine we shared a great bottle of burgundy and we selected the lamb and duck confit for entrees. While desert was served we passed the Eiffel Tower which started to glitter and was the perfect final meal of our trip. Price was fair for all you get. Only critiques I can give was the service was a little lacking and the girl at the table next to us got drunk and passed out in her chair. Since it's hard to say Au revoir, let's just say Au gratin.

    Da boat!

This is a once in a lifetime diner cruise experience you do not want miss if you are visiting Paris. The food is absolutely amazing and the beauty of seeing so many of the famous landmarks lighting at night was fantastic. The staff and service are five star. My wife and I have been on other dinner cruises and this one is the absolute best!

We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

Simple classic French cuisine. We shared the mini raviolis stuffed with mushroom and a foie gras sauce. Wow. And shared their famous beef bourguignon. The tender beef, the sauce! I love the way they plate it too. Delicious. And a bottle of Cabernet Franc from Bourgueil (Loire Valley). The second visit (3 star) was very different from the first visit. Less friendly, borderline rude, took a long while for table service even though it was not busy, rolled their eyes about us sharing and at our wine bottle selection. We didn't feel welcomed.
