I'll never take my truck back to this dump ever again! When…read moreI first arrived, I pull up to the garage. The guy comes up to take my truck. I ask him to hang on a second. I gotta grab my child out of the backseat. I don't know what happened before his day but he already seems annoyed like I'm bugging him for something I say sorry?? Like I did something wrong lol and he just says it's whatever. Before I could even make it to a seat inside this guy is spinning my tires into the garage. now I know you've driven trucks before cause I'm not the only truck there.! The screech was so loud that I said WTF? as I'm walking to the waiting room seems like they were shocked too. I just shake my head and sit down and wait. The guy calls me over about five minutes later to get all my information. And then asked if I want my cabin air filter changed or my other air filter changed and I say no. Well, now the oil change is done and I go to go leave and I go to turn on my AC but now it's making this loud humming sound and vibrating from the glove box I couldn't explain it but as I'm leaving, I was like maybe it's cause I'm on a hill even though it's never done that before I was just trying to think of what it could be I get home. It's still vibrating and making a humming sound so I open it up. Take out the cabin air filter to find that he snapped off one of the clips that hold my glove box divider together. The only way I could see this was sticking my phone in there and recording it because it's such a shallow slot. I remove the piece. The vibrating is gone and it's not as loud but now I still have a lighter humming sound. I would've been better off taking my car to McDonald's because at least I would've only dealt with one clown. This place is completely unprofessional for a first time experience. I'll never try to save 20 bucks again back to Valvoline go Thanks a lot smh.. NEVER AGAIN!!

This place gets a 5 star rating…read more My kid's car broke down on Cape Cod while he was playing a show in Wareham (he's in a band). We live 2-3 hours away (depending on traffic). I had no idea who to call, who to deal with. I wanted a place that could tow AND fix. My son found this place and I called them with the details and they acted immediately. They have two major bonus points I came across... First of all, my son's car had a failed alternator. I had already replaced the alternator in that car three months prior. The garage I used the first time was one I don't normally use, but it was close to where the car broke down that time. The car limped to that garage and it was highly recommended by my bro-in-law. My bill at Access Auto Too was LESS than the one I used closer to my house. This guy had every opportunity to overcharge me because, technically, it was the vehicle of a tourist. Far from home. Easy target. He did not. His bill also included a $75 tow -- which my original bill didn't have. Second of all, the car was being covered by a warranty. They were not aware of this when they wrote out the bill. The alternator was almost new and the parts store the 1st garage bought the part from was covering the cost under warranty. He was being paid directly, I was not reimbursed. Every inch, from tow to labor. He seemed perplexed by the fact that he was being paid directly by them, but ultimately, trusted me. That means he allowed me to take the car off the lot without getting a dime from me, but believing that he would be immediately reimbursed by the parts store within the one hour timeframe. That's some guts. He was wicked personable, a real nice guy. I was impressed that he was closing his shop for an "Employee Appreciation Weekend". He actually takes his employees away to his vacation home. Man, I can't even get my company to pay for a Christmas Party. We get some sad cold cuts in the break room and a brief, weak handshake. I don't know about anyone else, but he seems like the real deal. I give him props.

Bosun's ignored the situation and now they are sticking their head in the sand. The owner Tim Leedham told me the engines were two heavy for the boat, but then never did anything bout it. They are the WORST I have ever seen and they do NOT stand behind their product.

Here's how to destroy a once wonderful industry. I Bought a new boat from Bosun's in East Falmouth…read morein 2015 and they gave me what seemed to be honest, good, friendly service for several years, for which I paid them a lot of money for those services. We also put several hundred hours on our boat and we just loved it. Then In 2018 that all changed terribly. Bosun's Marine said they winterized my boat's 2 x Yamaha 350 engines, the generator, the water systems, the head, and so on, and charged me for it all the typical several thousand dollars. But the truth was that they never did any of what they said they did to winterize my boat that fall. I live in the West and could not go East and see that what they said they did was actually done. I had to trust them. The next spring I then again paid for their getting my boat ready for the 2019 season, including Patrick, their mechanic, saying that he did a sea trial of the boat and all it's systems and that everything worked just fine except that one of the two Yamaha 350 engines blew up and was destroyed as he conducted that sea trial. The only part of what he said that was true was that he had blown up the engine that had not been winterized properly the fall before. We found out later that he had never even looked at the generator, head or any other systems on the boat that spring. That was all a lie. They did no such comprehensive spring sea trial, except to blow up one of the two Yamaha motors. They then said that my boat insurance would not cover the engine and so they said it would cost me something like $40,000 to buy a new engine, and that that was my only option. After putting on the new engine they then told me my boat was all ready to take and use for the summer. So I went to Bosun's and walked through the boat and tested basic things. The generator did not work. It seems they never winterized it or changed the oil in it the previous fall or in the Spring. This lying to me continued to go on for weeks. They kept saying things were all fixed when they were not, and they of course kept charging me thousands of dollars more. I met with Tim Leedham, Bob, Patrick and others and they just kept lying to me and saying they had done it all correctly the fall before and that these things just happened when boating. Once the boat was finally seaworthy, months later, I decided to put the boat up for sale. I could no longer work with Bosun's or boat at and around Cape Cod. Since I don't live on or near the Cape, and the boat was at Bosun's, I had them sell it. I lost over another $60,000 from what similar boats, models and years were selling for during the sale of my boat. Bosun's Marine and it's owners and service people destroyed our family's love for boating, trust in Cape Cod marine-related people and services, and cost us many tens of thousands of dollars beyond what was remotely reasonable. The employees who knew what was going on would not talk to me for fear of being fired, and just said that the Bosun's Marina was just not what it used to be, and that similar experiences were happening with other boaters who used Bosun's. The whole experience was just awful, terribly costly, and so very disappointing, especially the blatant dishonesty of management and other employees. It was just the worst possible experience! I would obviously not recommend Bosun's to anyone. For those still using Bosun's, read your statements of costs for services very carefully and watch out for their over billing, double billing and extra parts and services billings. Check that services really are done. Or, better still, take your boat somewhere else, to a reputable, honest dealer.
