Let me just mention, I have shopped with all 3 bath and body works locations in bossier for years and have never had issues... until I came to this location on Youree Drive. I was actually excited to check it out since it was the only one in Shreveport/Bossier that I've never been to. I had placed an online pick up order. They weren't really busy at all. I walk in and the woman at the front who they normally have up there specifically to welcome/greet customers, completely ignores me and wouldn't even look my direction. That definitely isn't typical for bath and body works employees in my experience, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and just assumed she was new, distracted... whatever. I really didn't think much of it at first. I did hear her greet a customer walking in after me, but again, I didn't really think a lot of it at that point. I went on to take care of my business at the counter. A different employee was working the counter, and I will mention she was very kind and I appreciate that. I wish I got her name. Anyway, there was one woman making a purchase in front of me. She was having issues with her payment, so I had been standing there waiting quite a while which was fine. After about 5 minutes waiting in line, another customer got behind me. The employee from the front that I mentioned earlier immediately came over and asked the woman behind me if she was ready to check out and motioned her past me to the other open register. She had a pick up order as well. I was pretty shocked this employee completely skipped over me, especially after I had been waiting for so long. I watched her take care of the customer that was originally behind me, then she proceeded to walk off and leave me there waiting AGAIN while the other employee continued to deal with the payment issues the first customer was having. I tried to be reasonable in my head... maybe she was only working pick up orders for whatever reason, and thought I was buying something on the spot? But no, because my hands were clearly empty. I tried to come up with any logical explanation and there just wasn't one. There was absolutely no reason for her to ignore me from start to finish, and there was absolutely no difference in me and the other 2 customers in the store that she spoke to, helped, and allowed to cut in front of me except that I didn't match her skin color like they did. It's very disheartening to see people exhibit this type of disgusting behavior in 2026. She doesn't deserve the job she has if she can't show basic respect and decency to ALL customers. Her name tag was hard to read, but it was a heavy set woman with a name tag saying something to the effect of "D'Maiyah" or "C'Maiyah". And yes she needs to be named and called out for her despicable behavior. Do better.
