I debated on writing this review, but after thinking about it, I feel it is necessary to share my experience. This happened the evening of February 9th, 2026 just after 5:00pm. Let me just mention, I have shopped with all 3 bath and body works locations in bossier for years and have never had issues... until I came to this location on Youree Drive. I was actually excited to check it out since it was the only one in Shreveport/Bossier that I've never been to. I had placed an online pick up order. They weren't really busy at all. I walk in and the woman at the front who they normally have up there specifically to welcome/greet customers, completely ignores me and wouldn't even look my direction. That definitely isn't typical for bath and body works employees in my experience, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and just assumed she was new, distracted... whatever. I really didn't think much of it at first. I did hear her greet a customer walking in after me, but again, I didn't really think a lot of it at that point. I went on to take care of my business at the counter. A different employee was working the counter, and I will mention she was very kind and I appreciate that. I wish I got her name. Anyway, there was one woman making a purchase in front of me. She was having issues with her payment, so I had been standing there waiting quite a while which was fine. After about 5 minutes waiting in line, another customer got behind me. The employee from the front that I mentioned earlier immediately came over and asked the woman behind me if she was ready to check out and motioned her past me to the other open register. She had a pick up order as well. I was pretty shocked this employee completely skipped over me, especially after I had been waiting for so long. I watched her take care of the customer that was originally behind me, then she proceeded to walk off and leave me there waiting AGAIN while the other employee continued to deal with the payment issues the first customer was having. I tried to be reasonable in my head... maybe she was only working pick up orders for whatever reason, and thought I was buying something on the spot? But no, because my hands were clearly empty. I tried to come up with any logical explanation and there just wasn't one. There was absolutely no reason for her to ignore me from start to finish, and there was absolutely no difference in me and the other 2 customers in the store that she spoke to, helped, and allowed to cut in front of me except that I didn't match her skin color like they did. It's very disheartening to see people exhibit this type of disgusting behavior in 2026. She doesn't deserve the job she has if she can't show basic respect and decency to ALL customers. Her name tag was hard to read, but it was a heavy set woman with a name tag saying something to the effect of "D'Maiyah" or "C'Maiyah". And yes she needs to be named and called out for her despicable behavior. Do better. read more

Patronized 25th close to closing and the staff were not eager to lock up ahead of time. Instead they were helpful and knowledgeable for using coupons and deals. Returned the 27th as I decided to redeem all I can before the coupons expire. The young man from Wednesday night was there and still full of energy. I was trying to configure the $6 wallflower and refill offer but they have so many plug-in options that I asked which qualified. The young lady has never such a coupon and asked Ms. Michelle for help. Ms. Michelle came straight over and directed us to the white wallflower to qualify for said sale. Well, vocalized: I'd rather Black so it'll age well over time. Then, I said thank you and put the white back. Ms. Michelle felt white only applied in the sale so rather than leave it behind she picked it up and gave it back to me so I'd have it for check out. The young lady that called her over stopped chit chatting with another customer to ring me out and sure enough the equivalent but Black plug unit worked for the sale. To which that team.member said, "well look at that...something other than white works!" Here's the thing y'all... Tone, delivery and a few other things matter. I don't mind a stern person. I don't get offended by people and their certainty neither self assurance but guess what?!? I do get less than razzled dazzled by people that try to think for me or just don't deliver good service. In this instance, If black didn't ring up I just would have left without that deal. I have spent thousands since November 2022 - December 2022 preparing for an event and I promise a $6 wall flower and refill won't stop the show. It's not a need. I'm sincerely confused by the incidents that have continually occured in this store from the (I hate I don't know her name) Asian floor manager, rude Black man that worked stock during the candle sale and now Ms. Michelle (she has a whole power struggle on a prior visit about exchanging candles from the Xmas box that had some of the most awful candles possible). Maybe they're used to a certain clientele. IDK Maybe they're use to telling people what & how. IDK I just know they don't read the room or seek to have any understanding (well, Michelle did both times she's just certain you're wrong every time). Corporate doesn't seem interested in addressing this but I can say regardless of convenience ... I'll try to avoid. read more

Last weekend, my fiancé and I went to shop for birthday goodies for his Mom. An associate who is always singing and always happy, engaged us and honestly, took us around the store to show us just exactly how MANY options we have. She read our minds and helped us really figure out as far as what scents would best suit the birthday girl. I think she's Spanish Asian, not sure. Doesn't matter because she made me and my fiancé feel we BELONG there. So yeah, if we see her there and we're shopping, we will work with only her or the store manager. Their energies are so good and positive and I can't tell you enough that they're welcoming and genuine!! Here we are at check out, after a little while looking at all our options, we narrowed it down and BOY O BOY!!! Did she really make our purchase very special!! I admit I got a little teary eyed that someone like her would take the time to make our purchase special for my future mother in law. I love the Bridgerton by the way. Anyway, she wrapped each one of our items and did it to where she sprayed the matching scents into the tissue papers and tied the clear bags so each item looks like a giant candy bar!! The location I'm referring to is at Regal Court in Shreveport. From past experiences, Michelle is as pushy as can be, then there's another black lady manager who's as abrasive and crass as can be, slightly taller than the store manager, then a young blond one too. If these people do not know how to treat a fellow employee, regardless of anyones' position, then maybe you do NOT need to be in THAT position because you seem to have FORGOTTEN where you STARTED from!! I believe in treating people right and receiving the same treatment and respect. If there are those that think you're so special that you lie and degrade these wonderful staff or lie because they're ethnically different because you ASSume they're an easy target for you to pick on, guess what, there is ZERO difference in the AIR YOU and we all breathe. OR if you're having a bad day, don't take it out on the helpful staff, just STAY HOME!! YOU NEED their help, remember that!! You're better off (GO) SHOPPING ONLINE and not in store because they don't deserve being treated degradingly or lied about by narrow minded customers (maybe you want something free for lying?), all because you expect them to treat you respectfully but you couldn't give a care in TREATING them LIKE HUMAN beings FIRST!! \/ read more

The place is tiny as usual. Just never enough room in the store. I will say that they A/C was on which was amazing because it was so packed. We went on Thanksgiving. The staff was so friendly and helpful even when people were rude. Good location around several other stores. read more

Walking past this store with both doors open and blasting cool air not to mention the alluring scent of a siren, and yet I resist the urge to enter, knowing that financially, I am out of my league and crossing the threshold of this place will only bring a brighter glare to probably how much I really stink on a day to day basis. So, I proceed onward to neighboring Dick's Sporting Goods, where my natural body odor may not be as pronounced in a more athletic and somewhat masculine environment.
