The person that opened the door didnt have any customer service Not good morning, welcome in, nothing! No wonder everything in that mall is closing down. BBW will be next! I swear im going to give up on this location. Going here is the equivalent of being in a gaslighting relationship with a drunk. Forget to add all items to bag, just rude as heck, overcharging, no chance of reconciling. They say call corporate, you call and it appears resolved but then points b go to wrong accounts, staff is NOT greeting, no eye contact unless they are frustrated with you. As a woman with a not obvious disability I feel like im treated very poorly and have made them aware of my condition. Literally each time they get snippy or you need help I have mentioned i take a bit of time to comprehend. But this last trip was it. The cashier took a gift card and a birthday coupon AND my daughter's bday coupon for 4 items totaling 18$ and charged my card. So, I gave them $60 in store credit and received what she called a freebie and 3 items. Ummmm huh? My daughter went in and she was going to use her birthday reward and it was gone. I ordered online and when I recieved my order was shorted 2 Room Sprays. They refused to make it right and blamed it on the shipper.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND SKIP THIS LOCATION. THERE ARE TWO OTHER STORES IN THE AREA. This place is the pits. Firstly, I placed an online order at 10:34 am today, October 22, 2025. Drove an hour to get to the store. Did some shopping in the dying mall it is located in. I get an email notification at 1:22 pm telling me that "part of my order has been canceled" because 3 items were out of stock. The store employee I talked to said that the soap refills I'd ordered weren't in the store yet. I told her it would've been nice to know that when I placed my order online. Because the website clearly says available for store pick up. In fact, I just looked at the website again before starting this review and it STILL says available for store pick up. She did not even offer to call the other two stores in the area to see if they may have had them in stock. So I canceled my entire order. This is the second time I've been in that store in the past eight months and has been a terrible experience. I hope you shut this store down because it's not a good representation of Bath and body Works. Secondly, The stores air-conditioning apparently wasn't working so they have portable air-conditioning units placed throughout the store. It's a trip hazard, I watched a customer nearly fall from whatever the getup was they had trying to cover up the cords for those wonderful ac units. I wish I would have taken pictures, but I just wanted to get out of that store. That being said, Bath and body Works, you need to make sure your Internet site reflects what you have in the store. It's 2025 for crying out loud and there's no reason your website should not be up-to-date. Poor business ethics. Obviously, the store employees didn't even bother trying to get my order together until shortly before 1:22 PM. Nearly 3 hours after I had placed my order. If you cared anything about this store, you would find better employees. I bet your store shuts down soon because it's junk. read more

I love this chain store but not this one. The staff is very aggressive for some unknown reason. I gave this place another try and with the same results. I"ve never seen such aggression with staff. I was so disappointed because some of the products I've been using for years. So when I travel, if there is a store nearby, I also make a habit to pick up a candle or hand sanitizer or my favorite soap or lotion (TSA). So, I've shopped these stores on the entire Eastcoast. But the staff here is ridiculous. Bad experience, bad experience.......... I just don't understand the screaming through the store when I don't want help at the moment. The Manager (allegedly) was very aggressive. IDK I gave this place another try because I frequent this area. Don't go because it's not worth it if you enjoy shopping in peace. read more

I sometimes forget about this store. This location is a bit small. Everything is very organized. The displays are eye catching. There's always some type of sale going on. The products make great gifts! They even provide gift wrap. I love the car air fresheners, travel size lotions and hand creams, as well as the hand sanitizers and holders. This is the best and most convenient Bath & Body Works store of all of their metro Charleston/North Charleston area locations. Centrally located to all parts of the tri-county and the most easily accessible and convenient. I shop here all of the time. Great selection, clean, well-organized store and extremely helpful and friendly sales associates. The Citadel Mall store is definitely the BEST in the area! read more

This is a typical Bath and Body Works store. It's on the smaller side compared to other stores in the area, but they have a good selection of products. Most of the products have a sample or "tester" out so you can try- or at least smell- before you buy. The staff is nice and welcoming and always greet you when you walk in (unlike other mall stores, BBW is adequately staffed with multiple workers). Since the Citadel Mall isn't super crowded, this store usually isn't either, but if the checkout lines start to back up, the workers will call up other staff members to help out. Sign up for their email list to receive coupons and deals. I often get coupons in the mail as well, even some for free items. read more

Stopped in with my wife to look around. The store was really well organized and decorated nicely. It seemed similar to other Bath and Body Works stores. We didn't speak with any staff, they were busy with other customers but they seemed nice. We just walked around for a bit and had to leave before too long because the aroma of scents was a little overwhelming. read more

Bath & Body Works in Citadel Mall in West Ashley is a great place to get all of your bath and body items all in place. This store has a really good selection and seem to be very well stocked. The staff here is very friendly and helpful in making sure that you find everything that you are looking for. The store is open with a few challenges walking between promotion stands. The cashiers are a little over the top friendly, which means they talk a lot and hold up the lines at times. Sometimes you can take nice to new levels and sometimes you just want to buy something and leave. It is in the Citadel Mall which is rarely busy, so you don't often find big crowds in there. They do rotate their selections well and show their promotions very clearly with an abundant amount of signs. read more
